How would you recommend I "Relearn" tapping/streaming?

So I've been absent from ANY kind of Osu play that includes tapping/streaming for about a month now, probably slightly more. I've been keeping my aim up by playing with relax (Most will argue that this isn't true aim and I agree, but it's better than nothing.) My streaming and tapping hand has now completely forgotten how to do what it's supposed to do, which isn't what I wanted at first, but now that I know that I was never actually properly streaming, I'm glad it occurred. So now I have the question:

What would you recommend that I do first to relearn the hand positioning and finger movements that are required to play this game?

As of now, I'm following along to higher BPM songs with relax to get my fingers used to the movement again, and I'm trying to find the comfortable hand position I once had. I cannot play anything over 3.5 stars, and streams over 175 BPM are a pain. I would like to get back up to where I once was (Streaming 200 effectively and 210 for a good ammount of time, and being able to singletap 260 bpm effectively as well as being able to singletap 300BPM for a good ammount of time) and continue on my path of going up in the ranks

practice some nice 140 bpm stream maps for improved finger control.
Other than that, play more.

as mentioned above finger control is important.
some low bpm streamy maps (120-140 with long streams are good).
it will take a while until you see the effort but you will see income in some time. good luck mate :)

You learn osu the same way you learn to run, walk or do any complex action with you muscles.

To learn you simply just do it. Your brain subconsciously alters you muscle memory so the action requires less effort and depending on what you pay attention to it will alter your memory to avoid or meet certain results.

Other things that help you learn quickly is:

1. Pace yourself, don't play too much all at once. Take breaks, spread play sessions out so your muscles can recover and so your brain has time to alter your muscle memory.
2. Warm up and cool down your muscles by playing easier songs at the start and end of your sessions - this prevents injury and fatigue so you can play more
3. Eat healthy, get exercise every now and then and get enough sleep - Healthy body => healthy mind
4. Enjoy the game as much as you can - this will improve your focus

Do you happen to have any 140BPM stream maps that you could link me to?

Turning hitsounds off when you are first learning streams is very useful since it makes it easier to stream to the music. It makes it easier to ignore your inevitable mash/mistakes and focus on the sound that you should be matching with your finger. Simply seeing the X's, 50's, 100's is enough to tell you whether you fucked up. Once you get the feel of things turning hitsounds back on will provide much more useful feedback.

Use your worse finger to start streams and tap first.

I would recommend checking out these couple of threads:

Plenty of maps that are streamy and a good place to start for easy 4* stuff to much harder maps.
