Pre-load Taiko specific skin

When using a skin only for Taiko mode the game seems to load the skin elements on the fly - if I hit a 300, it will load the 300 image, causing some stutter (same is true for the 100, miss, 100k and 300k).
Now, after redesigning my Taiko skin to have animated hits, the stuttering got even worse - that is why I come to request that the Taiko skin be preloaded like the main skin (this doesn't happen if Taiko skin is set as osu! main skin).

Have you tried calling the skin 'Taiko' and in options turned on 'Use Taiko skin for Taiko mode'?

That IS how I use the taiko skin.

Oh now I see what you mean. So it does work fine when the Taiko skin is used in the skin selection? That's quite weird (though it sounds more like a bug than a feature imo)

Well, if I remember correctly it has always worked like that.
With non-animated hits it's barely noticeable (like just a micro stutter), but I'm using 18 frames on the hits.
And since I'm asking for probably a change of how it works I thought it was better as a feature request.
