!!BIRTHDAY MOD!!

Uuuao!

  1. 00:04:089 (1) - i suggest you bring all of the hitcircles in this first section up to 00:14:998 (6) - closer together. the spacing at the moment feels really awkward imo
  2. 00:15:725 (1,2,3,4) - i think it'd be better if you brought the repeat sliders closer to the previous objects
  3. 00:31:361 (6) - turn this into a burst? http://puu.sh/qDZVc.jpg
  4. 01:24:998 (5,6) - don't make this two sliders. i recommend you make all the 'uuuao!'s a reoccuring pattern. a kickslider definitely not. high sv loop works best
  5. 01:55:725 (5) - if you're making this a repeat slider instead of a burst bring it closer to the next object
  6. 02:40:816 (2) - see this is where a kickslider works. though (2) could use some stylizing to match that static sound c:
  7. 02:43:725 (6,7) - buuut why is there a kickslider here??
  8. 02:58:998 (2) - h-higher sv for bigger UUUAO? hehe maybe
  9. the next section is really nice js
  10. 03:45:907 (5) - YESSS!! BIG UUUAO!!
  11. 04:10:816 (5,6) - more unnecessary kicksliders.. ;;
  12. 04:36:089 (1) - i was about to say why is this kiai but actually this is a nice use of kiai :D gj

good job and good luck :3

I like how it is currently but if more people bring it up I will change the spacing or changing the repeat sliders.

  4. 01:24:998 (5,6) - don't make this two sliders. i recommend you make all the 'uuuao!'s a reoccuring pattern. a kickslider definitely not. high sv loop works best

The song has a gap where the kickslider is so it's kind of filler, the vocals don't start until the actual slider so I can't make a full loop. If I do anything with this I'll just remove the kickslider. In the second example too the kickslider seems kind of unneeded, and I used both sliders as filler in the third I guess. I think having these parts makes the map flow better but that might just be me.

  7. 03:45:907 (5) - YESSS!! BIG UUUAO!!
Fits here since there's no breaks in the audio during the sliders

  8. 01:55:725 (5) - if you're making this a repeat slider instead of a burst bring it closer to the next object
  9. 02:43:725 (6,7) - buuut why is there a kickslider here??
  10. 02:58:998 (2) - h-higher sv for bigger UUUAO? hehe maybe
    Fixed, fixed again, and done!

  11. the next section is really nice js
  12. 04:36:089 (1) - i was about to say why is this kiai but actually this is a nice use of kiai :D gj
I really like what I did with the non-kai section there but I feel like I could fix the rhythm with the kicksliders better.
Clarity
im here to mod a map because i was told to but im not good at modding so dont take my critique seriously

Uuuao!

  1. 00:17:907 (3,4) - ctrl + g
  2. 00:34:998 (2,4) - ctrl + g
  3. 00:38:452 (6) - would be nice if you centered this note to make it look like this https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/5878236
  4. 01:06:270 (7) - move this note a tiny bit up left
  5. 01:24:270 (2) - move this a bit to the left as well
  6. 01:25:180 (6) - i suggest moving the slider end to the blue tick before the note so it fills in with the "whoo!" and try giving it a curve like this https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/5878373
  7. 01:25:543 (1,2) - ctrl + g and fix the finish hitsound
  8. 01:25:907 (3) - move this down to about the 01:25:180 (6) slider so it overlaps like this https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/5878398
  9. 01:53:180 (1,2,3,4) - i like this pattern here
  10. 02:41:180 (1,2,3,4) - move these slightly to the right so that the 02:41:543 (2) note is right next to the sliderend of 02:40:816 (2) as so
  11. 02:53:361 (3) - move this to the left more
  12. 02:58:998 (2) - really liked what you did with the slider here, nice one
  13. 03:15:543 (1) - remove nc, make 03:15:725 (2) nc
  14. 04:04:452 (1) - remove finish hitsound and add it to 04:04:089 (7)
  15. 04:41:180 (3,4) - ctrl + g
  16. 04:51:361 (8) - ^
  17. 04:51:725 (9) - ^
  18. 04:52:089 (1,2,3) - space these out just a bit

nice map, gl in the future
GRR SNARL GROWL
NAZI MOD TIME

[General]
  1. 01:02:270 and 02:17:907 both have useless green lines, delete them xd
  2. You only use finishes for hitsounds, here's a guide on when to use what hitsounds because you need to have more than just finishes. t/306177
  3. You could do without the kiai at 03:46:634 but it doesn't really matter if you keep it.
  4. Widescreen support, epilepsy warning, and displaying sb in front of combo fire should be disabled as there's no storyboard (unless you're planning to add one).
[Uuuao!]
  1. 00:04:089 - Spacing here is pretty huge and kind of awkward, maybe tone it down a bit.
  2. 00:08:452 (5) - Also ctrl+g this slider to reduce the big gap between it and the previous note (same thing when it repeats obviously)
  3. 00:27:361 to 00:37:361 seems kind of awkward as you pretty much just ignore the 1/4 drums and just keep the same pattern going despite the obvious change in the music, you might want to add some 1/4 repeat sliders that follow the drums.
  4. 00:41:543 (5,6,7) - Maybe angle this down a bit to flow better?
  5. 00:47:361 (5,6,7) - same thing here obviously except angle it up
  6. 00:52:452 (3) - Should probably reduce the sharpness of the turn in this slider or just turn the red anchor into a white anchor so it fits with the sliders in the rest of the section
  7. 00:52:998 (5,6,7) - Move this a little farther away from the slider for a e s t h e t i c s
  8. 00:59:361 (1) - There's a jarring change in cursor movement here if you follow the slider that doesn't fit in this part, you could probably ctrl+g and shift the next few notes around to match.
  9. 01:01:907 (2,3,4,5,1) - You're not really following anything with this stream, and jumps fit a lot better here because of the noise in the background and the snare every 1/2 beat.
  10. 01:10:998 (1,2,3,4) - There's the same vocal pattern here as 01:08:089 (1,2,3,4,5,6) and 01:09:543 (1,2,3,4,5,6) but you mapped it differently, I'd suggest keeping the 2 1/2 sliders followed by jumps constant through these sections.
  11. 01:17:907 (5,6,7) - This triple just seems really random and out of place, especially since it doesn't follow anything.
  12. 01:24:270 (2) - Maybe NC here for readability.
  13. 01:24:998 (5) - There's literally no sound here aside from resonance, you should definitely remove this.
  14. 01:27:725 (5) - This doesn't fit too well with the rest of the section as the vocals it's emphasizing aren't really worth putting a much sharper turn in than you normally are for this section.
  15. 01:28:089 (6,7) - The way you emphasize the "yeah" here should be similar to how you emphasize it at 01:33:907 (7) (or vice versa but I'd reccomend doing a weird slider for both).
  16. 01:31:180 (8) - You should move this to the left of 01:30:816 (6) so it flows better with how the spacing increases.
  17. 01:31:361 (1) - This is a downbeat so it should be emphasized (especially during this chorus), so I'd avoid stacking it with the note before.
  18. 01:32:816 (1,2,3,4,5,6) and 01:38:634 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) have kind of extreme spacing considering that 01:29:907 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) has the same spacing and the 1/2s are emphasized MUCH more by the vocals than in the other 2 sections. I'd still suggest jumps here but tone them down a bit.
  19. 01:38:270 (6) - ctrl+j would make a nice blanket here
  20. 01:43:361 (3) - An sv change for the "woo" would fit really well here
  21. 01:48:270 (9,10) - Either a 1/2 repeat slider in the same spot or a jump here would fit a lot better to the vocals.
  22. 01:55:543 (4) - There's nothing that fits a jump like this here, especially at a calmer part, I would suggest making 01:55:361 (3) a slider.
  23. 02:01:361 (4) - ^
  24. 02:22:452 (2,3,4) - This just feels really awkward to play, you could ctrl+g and then move the next note closer to make it play better.
  25. 02:26:634 (7) - NC
  26. 02:27:725 (1) - No NC
  27. 02:28:089 (3) - NC
  28. 02:28:816 (5,6,7,8) - I think the drums here actually warrant bigger jumps than these.
  29. 02:32:816 (5,6,7) - You're not really following anything with this but it fits pretty well so use your own discretion but I'd suggest changing it.
  30. 02:33:543 (3) - ^
  31. 02:39:907 (2) - Maybe NC here for readability.
  32. 02:40:634 (1) - You're following a breath here so it's better than the one before it but it's still kind of unnecessary.
  33. 02:41:907 (4) - None of the other sliders in this section are shaped like this so it looks really out of place.
  34. 02:46:089 (4,5,6) - There's nothing here that would suggest using a triple so I'd just replace it with jumps
  35. 02:51:361 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) has kind of extreme spacing considering that 02:45:543 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) - has the same spacing and the 1/2s are emphasized MUCH more by the vocals than in the other section. I'd still suggest jumps here but tone them down a bit. Also i totally didn't copy paste this xd
  36. 02:58:998 (2) - maybe ctrl+g for flow WOOO
  37. 03:12:816 (2) - The way you did 03:13:907 (6) is a lot better, just do the same slider here since it's the same sound.
  38. 03:15:543 (1) - Moving this down and to the left a bit makes it flow better imo
  39. 03:45:907 (5) - Maybe make this repeat and change the slider afterwards to a circle 1/2 beat later (idk it just seems better to me)
  40. 03:46:998 (6,7) - A triple fits much better here imo
  41. 04:02:634 (3) - Maybe ctrl+j this or change the angle so the change in cursor movement isn't as jarring.
  42. 04:08:634 (2) - NC for readability
  43. 04:10:816 (5) - No sound here unnecessary kickslider blah blah blah
  44. 04:10:998 (6) - There's also no sound at the start of this slider, you should just have a circle or a kickslider at 04:11:180.
  45. 04:51:361 (8) - ctrl+g for c i r c u l a r f l o w
  46. 04:51:725 (9) - same here just to fit
  47. 05:00:452 (6) - NC here for consistency

The flipping on some of the points seems fair but any left out from above I didn't change. Some of the patterns you pointed out in the end I felt seemed better the way they are.

  2. 01:25:543 (1,2) - ctrl + g and fix the finish hitsound
  3. 01:25:907 (3) - move this down to about the 01:25:180 (6) slider so it overlaps like this https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/5878398
On this part I decided to make a compromise where the sliderends are aligned without flipping the first two notes.

  4. 01:25:180 (6) - i suggest moving the slider end to the blue tick before the note so it fills in with the "whoo!" and try giving it a curve like this https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/5878373
I've had trouble with this set of notes before but I don't think ending the slider on the blue tick is the solution to make it fit.

  5. 01:06:270 (7) - move this note a tiny bit up left
  6. 01:24:270 (2) - move this a bit to the left as well
  7. 02:53:361 (3) - move this to the left more
  8. 03:15:543 (1) - remove nc, make 03:15:725 (2) nc
  9. 04:04:452 (1) - remove finish hitsound and add it to 04:04:089 (7)
  10. 04:52:089 (1,2,3) - space these out just a bit
  11. 02:41:180 (1,2,3,4) - move these slightly to the right so that the 02:41:543 (2) note is right next to the sliderend of 02:40:816 (2) as so
Done, done, done, done, done, done, and I like that suggestion a lot.

  12. 01:53:180 (1,2,3,4) - i like this pattern here
  13. 02:58:998 (2) - really liked what you did with the slider here, nice one
    Thanks.

  17. 02:41:907 (4) - None of the other sliders in this section are shaped like this so it looks really out of place.

  19. 04:51:361 (8) - ctrl+g for c i r c u l a r f l o w
  20. 04:51:725 (9) - same here just to fit
  21. 05:00:452 (6) - NC here for consistency
    All of these done.

  22. 00:04:089 - Spacing here is pretty huge and kind of awkward, maybe tone it down a bit.
  23. 00:08:452 (5) - Also ctrl+g this slider to reduce the big gap between it and the previous note (same thing when it repeats obviously)
Spacing in the beginning seems fine to me, I don't really think it feels awkward at all but of course if more people bring this up as a problem I might decide to change.

  24. 00:27:361 to 00:37:361 seems kind of awkward as you pretty much just ignore the 1/4 drums and just keep the same pattern going despite the obvious change in the music, you might want to add some 1/4 repeat sliders that follow the drums.
Even though I pretty much ignore the drum beat I'm still following the vocals from the beginning leading into the song. I included a repeat slider in there when I felt the drums became a bit louder than the vocals. I like the current way it's structured but I could try to add in another repeat slider somewhere if it fits.

  25. 00:59:361 (1) - There's a jarring change in cursor movement here if you follow the slider that doesn't fit in this part, you could probably ctrl+g and shift the next few notes around to match.
  26. 01:01:907 (2,3,4,5,1) - You're not really following anything with this stream, and jumps fit a lot better here because of the noise in the background and the snare every 1/2 beat.
  27. 01:10:998 (1,2,3,4) - There's the same vocal pattern here as 01:08:089 (1,2,3,4,5,6) and 01:09:543 (1,2,3,4,5,6) but you mapped it differently, I'd suggest keeping the 2 1/2 sliders followed by jumps constant through these sections.
  28. 01:17:907 (5,6,7) - This triple just seems really random and out of place, especially since it doesn't follow anything.
  29. 02:40:634 (1) - You're following a breath here so it's better than the one before it but it's still kind of unnecessary.
A lot of this I disagree with from personal preference, especially since there's a difference in the vocal pattern brought up in the second point. I think my notes take some liberties with the music but I can see where you disagree since there's not a straightforward pattern.

  30. 01:24:998 (5) - There's literally no sound here aside from resonance, you should definitely remove this.
Brought up in a previous mod, still looking into if I should fix.
I'll fix some more stuff eventually

Alright due to the multiple mods I decided to remove the ambiguous no audio kicksliders that appeared before the chorus sections. The map should work completely with the audio as far as I know.
