Reason: the current position between 00:24:004 (4,5) - may lead some newbies to click 00:25:632 (6) - instead, And it get a bit neatier because makes a blanket here. In addition, it also avoids 00:22:143 (1) - 's head to get very very far from center right after the previous spinner.

* Make the positions of 00:34:237 (2,3) - a bit neatier like this ---> http://puu.sh/qJ984/0bcd37490a.jpg

* Avoid the almost covering of the number of 01:31:678 (5) - make Ctrl-J and move to x:456 y:104.

* If you did the last, then select together 01:30:981 (4,5) - and move them together by raising them by 1 grid up and 1 grid left (to fix spacing safe on 01:31:678 (5,6) - that got broken while doing that).

[Hard]
* Nothing so blatant was found (IMHO - important notice). A few would be doubtful, but fits to hard level.

  1. As much as I appreciate the beautiful background I do not see any relevancy with the song. I've nothing against real-life photos, but I also want to make sure that everything in the set is here because it makes sense with the song.
  2. Kiais are inconsistent. Which does not make much sense provided that all the diffs are made by you.
  3. I would recommend adding an Easy difficulty. With the ton of overlapped 1/2 beats Normal using I just keep thinking than an easier verwsion would fit nicely with the spread.

  1. 00:24:934 (5,6) - I would prefer two 1/2 sliders for the strings. A circle and a 1/2 slider could also fit welll example Basically, just try something like 00:27:260 (3)
  2. 00:31:446 (4,5) - something similar to the suggestion above, sticking with the vocals instead of excessively using 1/2 should work better, something like this.
  3. 00:45:399 - the peak of the vocals is here, while the slider begins 1/2 earlier. Whatever you were going for is definitely not as intense as the vocals are. Try a circle and an 1/2 slider?
    Note: 00:48:888 (2) - 00:52:841 - 00:54:469 (5) - 01:29:818 (2) - 01:37:260 (2) - same here.

    Beautiful flow, neat patterning. Just a bit of discomfort with the sliders mentioned above.

Apart from a few things I've listed it should be okay. Get a few more mods and try searching for a BN.

I want to readjust things first based on Bakari's post also might add Easy diff it will took one week or so

About the bg thank you for the compliment <3 actually the bg is intentional since all images I searched nothing seems good https://puu.sh/qLg0B/8e0ef22992.png unless you want to see some manly muscle on the bg, so I want to keep it as it is now so far so good better than random anime thing

Because I try to follow the bass instead, if you hear more carefully there is actually a bass sound play on 00:30:283 - and etc that mostly on red tick before the vocal like you mention above and so far they are plays great and consistent enough on this part 00:29:585 - , 00:44:469 - , 01:14:236 -

01:01:213 (3) - Sorry for blanket mod here, easy's don't have much else to mod though ;-; End point of this one is a bit iffy too. Position at 01:00:516 and move the endpoint to x480 y104.
01:30:981 (2) - Blanket. Move middle point to x244 y68.

Can you have this called "Soft?" Sorry, not too sure about it, since afaik you can only have the hardest difficulty in the set have a custom name, but since you're experienced I'm assuming that this is allowed, throwing it in just in case though! :)

00:34:702 (3) - Personal opinion on some aesthetics here, so far you've used 3 straight sliders, and they could compliment each other a bit better. To improve flow to 00:35:167 (4), why not map the slider bent like: http://puu.sh/qVGE8/ab598a7a67.jpg. You did so at 01:04:934 (4,5,6), and it looks fabulous there :)
01:05:864 (6) - Double check blanket. Bit iffy to fix, here's what I did:
  • -Temporarily move 6 closer to 01:06:795 (1) so you can see the approach circle better, perhaps put the end on the red tick before it.
    -Position yourself at 01:06:562.
    -Move mid slider point to x496 y308
    -Move end point to x456 y372
    Seemed to do the trick for me.
01:11:446 (3) - Double check this one as well. Sorry for nazi blanket mod, only choosing the ones that seem relatively easy to fix :) Slider midpoint at x320 y304, end at x380 y272.
01:24:469 (7,2) - Not perfectly stacked, double check this.

Hate to do nazi blanket mods, but it's hard not to when difficulties are already well made >_< srry. Seems emphasis is in all the right places, don't see any missed claps that aren't purposely on sliderends.

Hard

00:26:795 (3) - I believe this ribbon slider could be a bit better. I have the first point at x88 y96, second at x128 y96, third at x164 y76.
00:58:423 (3) - This is the only place where you stagger the slider like this in this diff, why not just stack for consistency?

00:18:423 (1,1) - Could you reduce the spacing here? It's a bit aggressive for an early part of this song especially for 3 star difficulty. I'd move it closer to the center to be easier to hit.
01:13:074 (5,6,7,8) - Just a suggestion... could these be sliders maybe? Doubles are a hard thing to play for players who play at this difficulty, especially if it's 2 in a row like this. The rhythm can be confusing. 2 1/4 sliders would be much more appropriate IMO. Even what you have at 01:27:725 (3,4,5,6) is a better alternative.

Looks good! My favorite difficulty in this set, flows nicely and plays well. Just curious though, just found out about this song, what do the girls have to do with it? o-o Just seems a bit random xd but it fits in a way, nevertheless.

  1. Your BG doesn't associate with the song, Step Up 3D nor the artist. I read your previous mods that you received and your answers to the same suggestion. It has been mentioned a couple of times so you should change it since your current BG picture has no relation to the song whatsoever. I recommend that you try to find one that is related to either one of these. You dont necessarily have to choose a BG that is related to the movie tho as the song is not specifically made for it, you just chose to associate it with the movie because maybe you heard it the first time through the movie. Anyway, I found a few that could fit. The first one you need to crop to fit the BG sizes that you need for ranking. Personally I would choose one of the artist related ones as they are universal and don't have to necessarily associate with anything. Although, I like the song related one too since it's a shot from the original MV.
    Step Up 3D related: Piccy1
    Song / MV related: Piccy2
    Artist related: Piccy3 / Piccy4
  2. The Easy difficulty has to indicate it's difficulty level in the name. This is a RC rule and you must follow this rule. I would also recommend to include the "Betrayal"'s mapper's name in the difficulty name. It's not against the RC rules but it might make ppl think that you mapped this difficulty. Initially, I thought you mapped this difficulty by yourself too until I looked at the thread message for you map. Regardless, you have to fix the Easy name problem. "A difficulty's name must indicate its level of difficulty, with the exception of the hardest level of difficulty in a set. The mapset's hardest difficulty may use an appropriate custom difficulty name, unrelated to a username. Mapsets may also use a complete set of custom difficulty names that clearly indicate their level of difficulty to the player. Marathon maps with a single difficulty may use free naming."   3. The mapset spread is not quite balanced. The star gap between Easy and Normal is 0,5 stars while the gap between Normal and Hard is 0,9. Even the gap between Hard and Insane, which is 0,7, is smaller than the gap between N and H. You should try to adjust the difficulty settings for Normal or Hard in order to make the spread more balanced. I think the issue is that you used 0,8 BSD for Normal, while Easy and Hard have 1,1 BSD. It would take a bit of time to adjust it but try increasing the BSD by 0,1-0,2 and adjust the spacing for your Normal difficulty. The draining time without the spinner at the start is about 1:20 mins. You can easily adjust this for this difficulty. Additionally, add a few more rhythmically complex patterns into your Normal. Some patterns are close to being too "Easy" for a "Normal" difficulty. Especially the parts that only contain slider patterns. You have a lot of those in your Normal. Aim to get your Normal to Hard gap down to 0,7ish. It really is too easy for this spread setup. The Normal could almost be an Easy tbh.

  2. 00:44:469 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3) - These are, again, too simplistic for a Normal difficulty. Try to use different patterns instead of the same one 3 times in a row. Same goes for the upcoming ones that are the same. You could for example place a circle here 00:47:027 - and a 1/2 slider from 00:47:260 - to 00:47:492 -

  • Visual and Readability Issues:
  1. 00:25:864 (1,2,3) - The 1/2 slider is literally the only big concern about this difficulty. For one, the slider is overlapping with the 1/1 slider and is only 50% visible. It is not unrankable but highly disturbing and interfering for a fluent gameplay. Two, this is the only pattern you used this almost hidden slider for. There is no other pattern where you used such an overlapping slider in this difficulty. Three, the starting circle for the slider is also half hidden and it should be fully visible to grant a fluent gameplay. It's not a mapping characteristic that you used commonly in this difficulty, you only used it once, so you should fix this issue and move it somewhere else where it's fully visible. It's nearly the beginning of the map so you might try stacking like this http://puu.sh/r20Rq/96dc002288.jpg and then move this whole section down 00:22:143 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3) - to make the spacing correct between 00:26:795 (3,4) - . It wouldn't hurt your flow either.
Nothing else that bothers me in this difficulty. Really nice mapping, according to the song. Good hitsounding. Fluent gameplay.

  • Rhythm & Pattern:
  1. 00:21:388 (1,2) - Even though this is rhythmically correct. It is really off from the rest of the mapping and rhythm. Especially at the beginning of the map and shortly after a spinner it is really difficult to play this pattern correctly. The synth is also a bit too low for it to be 100% discernable since the music that hits at 00:22:143 - is quite loud by comparison. It also is not quite an essential part of the song that should be mapped. It is rather a short introduction than something that has rhythm and that you can map to properly. I would suggest that you remove this pattern in order to grant smoother gameplay without any confusion from discrepancies to the rest of the song and extend the spinner to 00:21:911 - as it's the point where the "beggin" vocal ends.

    Combo:
  2. I know you can have differences from difficulty to difficulty but I'd like to mention that 01:44:004 (8) - this should have a NC as the Hard does too. It also is a downbeat so it can be justified. Up to you tho. "Combos are usually placed to either match the vocal/musical phrases or to indicate the downbeat of each measure.
