I've been using it for 4 years now and it's pretty nice. There is OpenOffice Writer (alternative to MS Word), OpenOffice Impress (alternative to PowerPoint), OpenOffice Calc (alternative to Excel) etc., and it's totally free. You can also save documents as a .doc file if that's important
There is also LibreOffice, if you don't like OpenOffice
