  1. I don't think kiai works that well with this song. I suggest you remove it.
  2. The drum whistles feels a bit too loud for a calm song like this, I think it sounds better if you remove the whistle (but keep the drum sample set)
  3. Not a big fan of these fast spinners tbh, I think they are a especally big problem on easy because many new players struggle with spinners and the map throws 4 at them at once. Maybe use sliders instead of keep them blank?
  4. Really don't like how the sliders look where the sliderstart and end touch each other. More of a personal pet peeve and it would force you to raise the slider speed (something I wouldn't mind seeing faster) but it might be something to think about. I would like you to change the ones like 01:09:903 (1) - on easy and 00:22:994 (4) - on Normal because they are just ugly because of that.
  5. Add "Moon Studios" to tags (Adding the platforms (Steam and Xbox one) and published (Microsoft) might be something too but I don't think it's as needed)

00:00:085 (1) - If you want it the slider to encircle the circle after it perfectly move it one grid to the right (grid 4)
00:04:448 (1) - ^ but to the right instead
00:34:448 (5) - I suggest you move the end point 3 grids right (grid 4). Then it lines up to the next beat.
00:40:994 (2,3) - Not lined up properly (It's just one grid off but looks kinda weird)

(I thought names like this was completly unrankible but checked the critera out and they are kinda ok now so nvm)
00:09:903 (3) - I don't like how the slider end goes into the slider itself. Looks pretty ugly.
00:27:357 (3) - I feel that this would look better if it was just a straight line because if the slider over it just makes it look weird, (and the end overlapping with the sider due to the wave)
00:31:448 (4) - This jump REALLY caught me offguard, Both because it's the only jump in the map and because it's quite a big one 2x so I though there was 1/1 to that one when it was 1/2. Make the jump smaller or just keep it normal like everything else.

Pretty nice and simple map. Also great to see that people still can map decent songs and not just noise.

Maybe use sliders instead of keep them blank? keeping the spinners in Spirit Tree in the kiai times (since imo it fits nicely and its smth different), removed the spinners in Easy at the beginning (i think you can just delete them (green timing lines removed too), it doesnt feel awkward if theres a whole measure space between 2 objects for me. also removed spinner in easy in the first kiai (added a circle where the spinner started and left a measure space again to the next object). Should be better now, good point! thanks :v

Ori and the Blind Forest is a fucking fantastic game, i loved playing it so much played it through twice xdxd, but about the map... There are fantastic blankets across the 2 diffs which i honor they are really nicely made, there isnt much to complain about the rhythm being wrong, since lets face it this isnt a complex song, but gj on this :D

Ori and the Blind Forest is a fucking fantastic game, i loved playing it so much played it through twice xdxd, but about the map... There are fantastic blankets across the 2 diffs which i honor they are really nicely made, there isnt much to complain about the rhythm being wrong, since lets face it this isnt a complex song, but gj on this :D osu! needs more calm songs which should be enjoyable :> but honestly just because it is such a simple song i dont know what to polish more, for me it looks very clean :D

00:09:357 (2) - You tried to make this perfectly symmetric. Here is the code to do so. Change it in the file "Gareth Coker - The Spirit Tree (Phyloukz) [Simple].osu" in your beatmap folder by clicking File > Open osu. in notepad. Scroll down to [HitObjects] and replace the code for this slider with the one below. Then fully reload your difficulty once you saved. This should make it symmetric.

Spirit Tree

Appearance:
00:51:357 (6,1) - These two are nearly the same shape but yet different. It's visually irritating to the eye. I suggest you create either two totally different slider shapes or copy paste one of them to make it look mirrored. But since there's a new melody starting at 00:52:448 - I find you should create a completely new shape. Although, this also looks good: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/5912324 ( I copy pasted the slider from 00:51:357 (5) - , flipped it horizontally, pressed Ctrl + G and rotated it by -35°, added a NC and then simply moved it up until the distance snap fits.)

Flow:
00:30:630 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,1) - The pattern 00:30:630 (1,2,3,4) - plays smoothly since it's curved. Leading the following pattern against the curve creates an harsh redirection of cursor movement. Try recreating a slight curve with these elements 00:31:448 (4,5,6,7) - If you move 00:32:812 (1) - a little lower it will create a perfect flow and transition between the patterns. You won't need to adjust 00:34:448 (2) - as it has the same spacing. Screen: osu.ppy.sh/ss/5912020
