Hi Synxx. I mentioned that I don't have much experience making videos. I'm a little disappointed in the quality of the video, so I'm not gonna try to share it to too many people. The video is a little slow, so if you need to speed it up or skip parts, feel free to do so. Also know that I'm not perfect and my suggestions aren't either, so you can still disagree even when I take a critical stance on something.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tjvOW9P ... VCQ_gfh3BjAfter this I got a little lazy because I basically was going to point out the same type of suggestions over and over again. So I figured I'd write out some more detailed/picky suggestions:
01:43:653 (1,2,3,4,5) – Why isn't there a ¼ note somewhere in this measure to be consistent with previous rhythms?
02:19:017 (4) – This should be ½ slider → circle on 02:19:414 – since this is a strong note that should be clickable
02:43:255 (8) - ^ same thing
02:23:686 (5,6,7,8) – don't use ¼ sliders here, use whatever ¼ circle rhythms you've been using since they weren't done well here.
03:10:871 (1) – Try 1/8 reverse slider

Was going to make a video, but it was very low quality that I think a normal mod works better
00:22:196 (3,6) – These two objects overlap. I'm not sure if this is intentional. All overlaps should be intentional, since overlapping generally looks poor. So either move these apart so they don't overlap or stack them:
http://puu.sh/qNfIO/4b4e0cc449.jpg --------
http://puu.sh/qNfFZ/1d90b72f09.jpg00:38:885 (8,2) – and 00:42:262 (8,1,3) - You overlap poorly in a lot of places, so check through the map and fix all instances of this.
00:45:044 (6,7) – This is an example of a good overlap.
00:29:944 (1) – I consider the beat at 00:30:143 – to be kind of strong (both the singer and the drums have a note here). Strong notes tend to feel better when they are clickable, so try making this be two circles instead of a slider:
http://puu.sh/qNfRe/26ead060ac.jpg00:34:514 (3) – try making this a ½ slider
00:35:308 (6) – Watch this video, particularly the part at 4:55
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3BC_I2ufqC8 . 00:35:507 – and 00:35:706 – and strong notes in the piano and really deserve clickable objects imo.
00:49:812 – There are lots of moments that have the same problem as above like these:
01:00:739 (7) -
01:03:123 (1) -
http://puu.sh/qNhjI/ab4ff41421.jpg01:05:110 -
01:11:666 (1,2,1,2) – (do this:
http://puu.sh/qNhlt/d822316cbf.jpg) – compare this section to 01:27:560 (1,2,1,2) - . I really like that these are only circles in this second spot because the background music fades entirely, so having only circles here emphasize the singer nicely. But looking back at the first section, it isn't so soft, so that's why it's better to have stuff to fill in the gaps
01:23:785 (5) -
01:47:825 -
02:04:315 (7) -
00:42:262 (8,1) – I see that you've been decreasing the spacing (and I like this effect, though I don't think you commit hard enough to it), but decreasing the spacing into the strong downbeat at (1) does not feel good. Try a spacing like this:
http://puu.sh/qNgel/2760eaa205.jpg . Having a jump on this downbeat emphasizes the singer and the cymbal, and the lower spacing between (7,8) captures that decreasing feeling a little nicer. Notice also that (1)'s slider end is equidistant between (7) and (8). That's an example of good structure.
00:58:355 (1,1) – Somtimes, your sliders don't have nice curves like these and at 01:24:580 (2,2) - . Read this guide a bit
t/20859600:42:858 (2,3,4,5,6,7) – Your visual spacing and structure could be improved. It's hard to work this pattern for me now, but read this about visual spacing
p/4733934 and notice that 00:43:454 (5,6) – does not have the same DS as 00:43:057 (3,5) – and similar.
00:47:229 (8) – Really consider making this a ½ slider to emphasize the held vocal. Same applies to (9) and (10)
00:50:408 (1,2,3) – Make better visual spacing
00:52:593 (9,10) – Might be better as a blanket
00:54:779 (6) – Drums go into ¼ here. Why not have them here when you have them in other similar places?
00:51:997 (6) – consider making this a ½ slider and deleting (7) to go with the singer
00:51:202 (3,10) – The huge change in SV feels gimmicky
00:53:587 (1,2,3,4,5,6) – This pattern is generally unstructured but I'm too lazy to make a suggestion, so find me in game if you want.
01:26:169 (4,5,6) – Consider the spacing here. (4) and (6) are strong notes, but (5) doesn't have a lot of strength to it. So I think you should change the spacing so there is no jump into (5). This would mean you can't stack (4,6):
http://puu.sh/qNhE8/767ef3f3c5.jpg02:03:123 (4) – Consider making this two ¼ sliders instead to mimic what you do at 02:02:328 (1,2) -
And now I'm lazy so I stopped. Feel free to ask me any questions in game since there's a lot of stuff I didn't mention that could use some work.
