The long-awaited annual Pending Cup is coming once again!
The Pending Cup is a mapping contest where the main participants are usually Chinese. The Pending Cup encourages creativity and major mapping principles, throughout all skill levels - especially novice mappers.
The first contest, held by NatsumeRin in 2013, shall be organized for a fourth time this year. All contestants regardless of nationality are welcome. The next Champion might be you!

Rules
Please read the following rules carefully, violation of any rules will result in disqualification from the contest.- Submission date of the entries cannot be later than the submission deadline.
- Participant cannot submit incomplete nor unreadable entries.
- Participant cannot make changes to the following parts of the entries: Timing, Title, Artist, MP3, Source, Tags.
- Participant cannot include background images, videos, skin elements or storyboard elements in the entries.
- Participant must work individually. Any collaborative entries are not allowed.
- Before the announcement of the final result, all the entries cannot be made public in any way. Participant cannot provide judges information that helps recognize the creator.
- No entries by multi-accounts are allowed.
- Staff members excluding organizer, co-organziers and judges are allowed to participate in the contest.
- Submitting entries is equivalent to participant accepting and obeying all the above rules.
- In case of disputes, the Committee reserves the right to make the final decision.

Mapping Details
- Participant must change the "creator" to participant‘s ID. For example, "OniJAM".
- Only one difficulty is needed for each song. (If more than one difficulty is received, only the highest difficulty will be judged.)
- Custom hitsounds are allowed.
- Custom combo colors are allowed.
- Only standard difficulty names (Easy/Normal/Hard/Insane/Extra) are allowed.
Entry Submission
- Participant is required to submit the entries using the .osz format.
- Participant is allowed to submit their entries only by puush and Baidu Skydrive.

- A list of participants who have completed the submission procedures will be announced, there may be time delay.
- Each participant is entitled three submission opportunities, only the entry from the last submission is counted as valid.
Judges' Evaluation
- Each judge will carry out the evaluation individually.
- Judges will not be able to know the corresponding code of each participant. In other words, the entries are anonymous.
- Judges will evaluate the entries based on three categories: consistency, playability and innovation:
Consistency Score (10 points)：To what extent are the rhythm choices, placements and hitsounds being consistent within the entry?
Playability Score (10 points)：To what extent is the entry appropriate to play and resonant to the music?
Innovation Score (10 points)：To what extent is the entry unique or creative?
The sum of the three scores is the raw score of the entry. - The standard score of the entry is the raw score adjusting with standard deviation.
S* = (S - S(avarage))/SD
S* is the standard score, S is the raw score, S(avarage) is the average score of the raw score of the judge. SD is the standard deviation of the judge's evaluation. - The final score is the sum of judges' standard scores, times a constant. The constant serves as a factor controlling the range of the final score.
- After the judging ends, the Committee will make the evaluation table and all submitted entries public.
- For each track, the score will be arranged from the highest to the lowest.

- The prizes have been divided to Normal Prize and Novice Prize, which are individual from each other.

5th place: 1 month osu! Supporter tag or prizes with equal values - Definition of Novice participants: No ranked / qualified maps at the submission deadline.
