Round 37: Double Stacks

Nominated by -Xero-. Consists of two notes (and possibly one note and one slider) that are stacked together. There are usually more than one Double Stack in a combo. In this case, the combo containing the Double Stacks are spaced the same in the timeline.

Only really works with a 1/3 rhythm, otherwise they're just offputting
RandomJibberish
sexysexysexy in 1/3

depends entirely on the song on 1/4

My favorite DJPop map is my favorite because it uses lots of these and I love these. Just really fun to play.

I really like them, unfortunately I've got lots of problems to hit the second note accurate, but if I manage to pass them, they're awesome. :v
maay
I like them if I can one-finger them...
Tenshi-nyan
I HATE them. I hate them I hate them I hate them.

They're ok though if you can click them, as in slow songs or such.

I like them when they works in 1/4, intact I like them more in 1/4

I don't think this can be considered the same as removing the middle note in a stream of 5 (thus making 2 "double stacks"), but if it is, I like that rhythm a lot, provided it's in the music. I'm thinking "Mortal Kombat" here.
NatsumeRin
in 1/3 most time it's really good.
in 1/4 it depends on the song a lot... and there's other techniques make me feel better than this.

This. If the doublestacks are based off a 1/4th set and just randomly uses blue ticks to force the player to twitch-click them, there's something wrong.

Well, it seems like I have to map 1/3 songs more now.

...Not that I ever had... Only thing even vaguely close is My Soul, Your Beats...and it's only twice with 6 1/2 ticks each. D:

Yeah, in 1/3 are very pretty

If there is 3-4 stacks in a row, it's cool. If there is 10...not really. Cool when i can hit it with one finger.

I don't like these... ;_; I rather use a slider to replace this. Since I have trouble hitting two 1/4 beats after each-other in speedy songs.
Equivalent_old
4/5 Coz it challenging <3 Yet giving me those higher PC....
Scorpiour
it's really hard..

i prefer triple stacks to double!
Shiro
Very situational. They can be extremely confusing...
Valentiino
Oh god I hate these.
For some reason these always screw up my flow on the song and causes me to screw up the coming rhythm :(
Marifune-kun
this can be really fun to hit
5/5

I hate them, they screw me up (?)
Eyenine
With 1/3 they're good (had played lots of them)
With 1/4 they tend to be challenging, but sometimes is just there to put on a challenge and not follow the rhythm at all.
