Yeah... Sadly, there has been a rule change where BNs can only cast their judgement on a mapset in which they can pass all of the diffs... so you may be struggling to find capable people. But don't worry, the map is very promising.

I don't know... I'm just not a fan of using the drum sampleset for this. Up to you though, really.

Might I suggest a change to the OD/HP structure?
  1. EZ: OD 6, HP 6 (fine imo from the large number of LNs)
  2. NM: OD 7, HP 7
  3. HD: OD 8, HP 7.5
  4. MX: OD 8.2, HP 7.8
  5. SC: OD 8.5, HP 8
  6. SHD: OD 8.8, HP 8.2
  7. Awakened: OD 9, HP 8.5
Mania maps don't tend to go above OD/HP 9, from what I've seen.

Also, don't double-up on hitsounds... or more. (like at 00:22:133) It's often a little too much. (I reckon for this specific example, a double should be fine, whereas a triple isn't.)

As a general note, EZ diffs should not really have any SV changes in them at all. People need to get used to the notes alone first, never mind them scrolling down at different speeds. I'd suggest removing these.

  1. 00:01:062 (1062|3,1597|3,2133|3,2669|3,3026|3,3204|2,3740|2,4276|2,4811|2,5169|2,5347|1,5883|1,6419|1,6954|1,7311|1,7490|2,8026|2,8561|3,9097|3,9454|2) etc etc etc... - Ok, so at the moment, you're mapping the piano, right? How about mapping to the drum set? (the cymbal-sounding things actually have some sort of pitch, surprisingly.) It would allow you to map like this, instead of putting everything in the same column. Listen closely to the audio to see what I mean. (Looking at the other diffs, this idea could also apply there too.)
  2. 00:47:847 (47847|2) - Change to col 1 for hand balance?
  3. 01:13:919 (73919|0,76061|2,78204|1,80347|0) - Why not make these LNs?
  4. 02:06:419 (126419|3,126419|0) - Switch to cols 1+2? (only because the previous notes were in this column, plus this combo hasn't been used for the entire map.)

Drum following idea still applicable here. Apart from that, there's not much. Hitsounding wise, I think you went a little overboard on using the soft whistle in some areas. Don't forget, hitsounds don't necessarily need to be on every note.
  1. 00:15:436 (15436|0) - On the white tick earlier in col 3 for the pattern?
  2. 00:22:847 - Don't really see any reason to have the minijacks here. What about like this? Many more occasions where the notes can be rearranged to avoid the unnecessary minijacks and improving hand balance at the same time.
  3. 00:39:454 (39454|3,39544|2) - Move one col left?
  4. 01:11:776 (71776|0,71895|2,72014|1,72133|3,72252|2,72371|0,72490|3,72609|1,72728|2) - I know what you're trying to map here, but being the only bar which is mapped to 1/3s, I don't think it's worth it. Consider remapping to the drums instead.
  5. 01:38:561 (98561|2,98829|2,98919|1,99097|1,99276|2,99454|1,99633|2) - Too much finish HS here.
  6. For the LN section at 01:56:776, I know you're trying for variation, but I really don't think this is necessary and thus should all be replaced with normal notes.

You could follow the cymbals, or map the piano stream instead.

for this difficulty, i'll be very blunt, i find this overmapped in terms of massively excessive jacking. the quads dont seem to fit with the track although the pattern would make sense for the quads to be around. im unable to mod this due to me not familiar with this kind of mapping so i'll shoot one star as compensation

Imo to keep this diff it will need an overhaul, the quads in the beginning arnt needed, and there are waaaaay too many jacks, imo, i would probably remove the diff.

sory i cant change last diff, cuz it is the main diff, i made that before other diffs, and Awakened is my main reason to continue modding this map

01:48:204 (108204|3,108204|2,108383|1,108383|0) - these LNs are horrible to play, dealing with simultaneously repeatedly pressing a button and holding down them is not something i want to do every day, and not what i want to do in your map

this isnt much of a problem of it being unbalanced, or it being overmapped really - its about you understanding what is actually fun, and what is frustrating to play and nail down(or in plain english not fun) - and personally speaking looking at your sloppy justification for such patterning ("its my mapping style") i can say with 100% certainty you do not have the player in mind at all - is that what you really want to do?

oh lol yea i sorry bout that rule, and sorry bout that. i just cant hold it, cuz i just wanted to rank a map for long time, and never happened.

Here the reason for the nonsense patterns , (some reason might sound nonsense) :
- I love that kind of pattern even i cant play it well, idk why
- I want to rank something different and unique, thats why im still working on this map till now :<
- There are only few 5*+ maps, and some of them are overrated, i just want to rank something not overrated
- Many ppl around me say and think that 4K is easy, i just want to prove 4k isnt (this might be nonsense or stoopid)
- Many modders here say that hard patterns dont fit with this song, but idk why i think hard patterns good for this song, maybe cuz first time i tried this song on voez, it was too hard for me, and i made it hard too here.

few things you can do
1) declutter the layering, i.e. dont double every single bass beat you see
2) focus more on the violin pulls in the music, i.e. 01:48:204 - 01:48:740 - 01:48:919 - 01:49:097 -
3) focus more on the piano beats in the music, i.e. 01:49:722 - 01:49:811 - 01:49:901 - 01:49:990 -(last one 01:09:276 - is kinda an anomaly, there are two main beats here; the hihats, and the main piano beat, and funnily enough the main piano beats fall on the same tick with the hihats 90% of the time, with the other 10% being unemphasized which is kinda odd dontcha think)

its kinda late now and i can very much give pattern suggestions here and there but i dont really feel like im up for it right now; maybe you can pm me through the forums as a way for a reminder and all so id get back to you; this is if you yourself cant think of a better pattern given whatever i said before so (pretty sure you can)

theres always this sense of bias that comes along when you playtest your own map - i mean, its very obvious everyone at least somewhat thinks well of themselves so you might be biased on the point here

i was in a conversation with a rank 450~ player with this chart actually (dont really want to pull names in here), and he himself has a good history of dealing with jack maps - to rephrase what he said,
" ending spikes really badly in difficulty, the LNs in the ending too make it hard to play"
perhaps theres no weight to this since i dont have the transcript but you can take this as you will, i personally cant exactly play the chart (a pass is viable at least) and to me the current patterning, even with the lack of playing ability, seems to ignore the essence of the music itself and carries a ton of artificial-smelling difficulty in it

those are all valid reasons you know, because these are all personal perspectives on this matter and can only be refuted if you realize that the ranked section is for everyone, not only for you

it is your job to intertwine how you feel together with how everyone feels in a balanced way, and i dont think its fair to the people who achieved that same balance by pushing this mapset to rank in its current state because you feel invalidated and have your own personal goal of the ranked section

feel free to continue on with the mapset with the current patterns, but dont be surprised if there is severe backlash because your beliefs clash with the thoughts of the players in ranked

few things you can do
1) declutter the layering, i.e. dont double every single bass beat you see

theres always this sense of bias that comes along when you playtest your own map - i mean, its very obvious everyone at least somewhat thinks well of themselves so you might be biased on the point here

i was in a conversation with a rank 446 player with this chart actually (dont really want to pull names in here), and he himself has a good history of dealing with jack maps - to rephrase what he said,
" ending spikes really badly in difficulty, the LNs in the ending too make it hard to play"
perhaps theres no weight to this since i dont have the transcript but you can take this as you will, i personally cant exactly play the chart (a pass is viable at least) and to me the current patterning, even with the lack of playing ability, seems to ignore the essence of the music itself and carries a ton of artificial-smelling difficulty in it

Hey~ I stumbled across your map probably from your GHOST map and I've just gotten to actually play through it now. Here's a mod :D
--please note that I am not very experienced with modding, and if this post isn't helpful, no kudos. can't guarantee quality, etc.

regarding spread (short comment)
Your SC diff is 4.76, SHD 5.07, and Awakened 5.36. These numbers are extremely close together with about .3 difference between each diff. i noticed a lot of stuff is copypasta (SC and SHD) so the spread really needs to be fixed - I would remove Awakened and buff SHD a bit in certain places but it's your map so you do what you think needs to be done :D

let me just get this out of the way first- overall i'm not sure whether SHD diff should contain so much minijack with such low SR. i understand your intention of creating underrated maps but i thinks this is way too much. also, some of the minijacks are pretty unjustifiable...i know you want to #rankhardermaps but i don't think this is the kind of song to do that with... and the LNs near the end are far from comfortable and readable, too.. :') either remove the LNs completely or lower the HP

anyways, the remainder of this SHD mod will not take the SR into consideration at all~

not really a full mod just a comment, im not going to lie here this diff is really messy and i dont think this is rankable at all. again as i said in the beginning of the SHD diff, this isnt the song to make #harder4kmaps with. based on what ive seen of your mapping style (this map and GHOST), if you really want a map ranked, choose an extremely dense (music-wise) song thats around 140bpm kind of like planet shaper. it would really fit your mapping style.i wish you luck :D

not really a full mod just a comment, im not going to lie here this diff is really messy and i dont think this is rankable at all. again as i said in the beginning of the SHD diff, this isnt the song to make #harder4kmaps with. based on what ive seen of your mapping style (this map and GHOST), if you really want a map ranked, choose an extremely dense (music-wise) song thats around 140bpm kind of like planet shaper. it would really fit your mapping style.i wish you luck :D

Your SC diff is 4.76, SHD 5.07, and Awakened 5.36. These numbers are extremely close together with about .3 difference between each diff. i noticed a lot of stuff is copypasta (SC and SHD) so the spread really needs to be fixed - I would remove Awakened and buff SHD a bit in certain places but it's your map so you do what you think needs to be done :D okii :D i will try to buff SHD, but i wont remove awakened :(

let me just get this out of the way first- overall i'm not sure whether SHD diff should contain so much minijack with such low SR. i understand your intention of creating underrated maps but i thinks this is way too much. also, some of the minijacks are pretty unjustifiable...i know you want to #rankhardermaps but i don't think this is the kind of song to do that with... and the LNs near the end are far from comfortable and readable, too.. :') either remove the LNs completely or lower the HP thx :> i think i gonna rework on HP and OD for all diffs, but i dont mean to rank hardest map as possible, i remapped many parts after abrax' mod, and i think the patterns are ok, and idk about that broken star rating :( i tried to make higher star, but i dont want to put weird pattterns
