[Archived] Problem Install and Download

Problem Details:
Because when I'm in the installer osu! downloading updates reaches 5% and says "an error check your internet connection has occurred" but if I have. and if I have .NET framework 4+ (I'm new to the game)

Do you see any files in this folder?
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\osu! (exchange username with your username) - if you have changed the install folder, also try to check the folder which have you selected.

If you have any files there, try to delete them.
If that doesn't work, try another install folder and try to run it as administrator.

Feel free to post a reply if none of this works.
If this doesn't work, you might need a "ZIP" of the game with downloaded files.

Another reason is that if you use an internet connection which is public (schools, etc.), it may be blocked.
