Taiko is just easier mania.

I'm originally a mania player until I introduced mania to my younger brother and completely kicked my ass when I'm 13k rank and he caught up to 1k rank, so I played ctb for a short while. Then my other little brother kicked my ass when he got 3 digit in ctb, so I said, "fuck this crap, I'm going to buy a tablet".
