I was bored and lurking #modreqs. I haven't modded in literally years and i have no idea about current standards, but let's go.

- General: (Considerations and things you need to check/fix for the whole map)
  • It's quite a shame you trimmed the song is so short, because the maps have a lot of potential and the full song is quite nice and could be trimmed at around 2:20 with a fade effect.
00:26:596 - Very nice usage of no break time. Keep it.
Insane seems to be the only difficulty using more hitsounds. I could have some suggestions for the usage of normal whistles, but i first want to be sure of your intentions with hitsounding in the mapset.
Your choice, but i guess you could add some more fitting combo colors. Some nice ones could be:
    [Colours]
    Combo1 : 80,160,250
    Combo2 : 250,150,60
    Combo3 : 150,110,170
- Normal:
  1. .Opinions: (Just some thoughts, I'd personally like if you follow them)
00:36:870 (1) - 00:50:021 (1) - these new combos bug me. Unfortunately the previous sliderend goes on the beginning of the section but i'm also unsure about having 00:35:842 (8) - 00:48:993 (8) - starting the new combo instead.
  2. .Suggestions: (Fixing this should make gameplay/aesthetics a bit better)
00:12:623 (4) - I kinda don't like this overlap. Not because of the overlap itself, but because it's the only partial overlap in the whole map and it doesn't look it's made like that for some purpose except for spacing issues. Maybe you can make 00:11:801 (3) - curved as well without messing up the whole pattern.
- Hard:
  1. .Opinions: (Just some thoughts, I'd personally like if you follow them)
More of a picky preference, but circle size 3.6 and AR7.8 should work better.
  2. .Suggestions: (Fixing this should make gameplay/aesthetics a bit better)
I feel the HP drain is too high when compared to the other difficulties. You can also see that with the no-break section when about 1/3 of heath goes away and requires a bit of time to recover. -1 it pls.
00:23:308 (1,2) - I'd replace them with 4 standard circles to make it more consistent with 00:19:610 (4,1,2,3) - and less slider-spammy. If you do that use the same combo pattern as well. If you don't then consider removing the new combo from 00:20:842 (1) - and add it to 00:21:664 (3) - instead.
    Some new combos to add: 00:31:527 (9) - 00:34:815 (9) - 00:38:103 (8) - 00:41:390 (9) - 00:44:678 (9) - 00:47:965 (9) - 00:51:254 (8) - 00:54:541 (9) - to help prevent some cluttering because of the 1x numbers and help the recovery of the lost HP.
- Insane:
  1. .Suggestions: (Fixing this should make gameplay/aesthetics a bit better)
I'm not really a fan of AR9 OD7 difficulty. Considering you also used OD7 for hard at least put OD7.5 here (I'd actually use 8 though).
00:26:185 (8) - while it's not hard to miss, the slowdown is basically invisible to the player. Use a different shape or a less steep multiplier as a hint, maybe.
  2. .Errors/Mistakes: (Bad gameplay issues or badly applied changes)
    00:23:308 (9) - new combo.
    00:31:322 (1) - remove new combo, 00:31:527 (2) - add new combo.
I noticed the same thing happens in the same patterns later, but even with the doubt of it being a stylistic choice, i'm quite a firm believer of using new combos to mark new stanzas correctly, and to be consistent with my previous suggestions i'm gonna point them out as errors: 00:34:610 (1,2) - 00:36:458 (7,1) - 00:37:897 (1,2) - 00:41:185 (1,2) - 00:47:760 (1,2) - 00:49:610 (7,1) - 00:51:048 (1,2) - 00:54:336 (1,2) - and remove the new combo from 00:55:979 (1) -
I see you have no ranked maps but if you're a beginner this is quite a good start and i hope you'll consider developing the map for a longer version of the song.

Thanks for the tips! I've changed most of what you said; about to go and lengthen the map now 8-)

I would like to create a storyboard for your map :)

[Normal]
  1. First of all, I noticed that you are using a SV of 2.00, but using a multiplier of 0.50x. The base SV should already be set to 1.00, as this is a Normal difficulty. I'd strongly suggest that you change the base SV to 1.00. Make sure to snap and readjust all slider lengths.
  2. Another thing that I noticed, is how you seem to not use almost any 1/2 sliders during each kiai. I'd suggest using a standard 1/2 rhythm, that includes sliders.
  3. One last thing to point out, is how many overlaps you have. I've pointed out a few of your mistakes below, but I won't be bothered to point out every single one. Go through your map and fix them. :>
  4. Make sure to check AiMod. You have 1 warning concerning DS.
  5. 00:00:295 (1,2,3) - Overlaps like this are unacceptable in most cases. For the sake of readability for newer players, I'd strongly suggest that you create a less messy pattern.
  6. 00:06:048 (2) - You should turn this into a 1/2 slider. Also, add a note @ 00:06:459. This sound is very noticeable, and it should be clicked.
  7. 00:06:870 (1,2) - I'd suggest bringing (2) down a bit lower. This will create a better flow from (1).
  8. 00:14:267 (2) - You should Ctrl+G this slider. Doing this will create a much nicer flow off of 00:13:445 (1).
  9. 00:14:267 (2,3) - Refer to what I said before about overlaps.
  10. 00:16:733 (1) - I'd suggest turning on grid snap on when making slider like this. The structure of this slider is very sloppy, and should be adjusted.
  11. 00:22:486 (4,1,2) - Blanket all of these.
  12. 00:24:952 (3,4) - This flow is not very good. I'd suggest moving (4) somewhere to the right of the playfield.
  13. 00:39:747 (1,2,3,4,5) - Very messy overlapping.
  14. 00:53:719 (3,5) - ^
  15. 01:11:390 (4) - This should be placed on the following blue tick.
  16. 01:14:678 (4) - ^
  17. 01:41:390 (7,1) - Blanket this?
  18. 02:13:445 (1) - This reverse sliders feels very random. Change this to become a 1/1 slider.
  19. 02:14:267 (3) - Reduce this slider to the red tick. Add a note @ 02:15:089. Since this is a finish, having something clickable here would be the best.
[Hard]
  1. 00:01:116 (3,4) - Stack these!
  2. 00:01:938 (5,6) - ^
  3. 00:02:760 (7) - Reduce this slider to the red tick. Add a note @ 00:03:582, allowing the white tick to be clicked. If you mapped the start of a new measure in the first place, there is no reason to neglect it in random spots of your map.
  4. 00:06:459 (4) - You should place this somewhere above 00:05:431 (2).
  5. 00:07:692 (2,3,4,5) - Refer to what I said before about stacking. I see this happening a lot in the rest of your map, so I won't bother pointing these out anymore.
  6. 00:09:336 (6) - Refer to what I said before. I won't be pointing any of these anymore either.
  7. 00:07:075 (1) - This is only a suggestion, but I don't think using a lot of these slider shapes randomly is very good. Sliders like this are mostly used for emphasis. Placing them randomly in your map messes with the flow.
  8. 00:26:185 (4) - Change this somehow to allow the slider end to be clickable.
  9. 00:26:801 - You should really map something here. A spinner might even be nice.
  10. 00:29:884 - Again with the thing about not really using any 1/2 sliders. Placing a ton of single notes doesn't create the best flow. Including some 1/2 sliders will really improve this!
  11. 00:35:842 (6) - Turning this into a stream would work much better.
  12. 00:48:993 (6) - ^
  13. 00:42:418 (6) - Use a triple here instead.
  14. 00:55:568 (6) - ^
  15. 00:44:472 (8,1,2) - Strange flow. You should move (2) somewhere else.
  16. 01:10:979 (1,2,3) - Don't stack these. Separate these using proper distance spacing.
  17. 01:11:596 (3) - Replace this slider with two notes. http://puu.sh/r0gJ0.png
  18. 01:13:753 (5,6) - Stack these. It breaks the flow when one moment you're overlapping, and the other you are stacking. Be consistent with this.
  19. 01:17:041 (5,6) - ^
  20. 01:14:267 (1,2,3) - Refer to what I said before about 01:10:979 (1,2,3).
  21. 01:17:555 (1,2,3) - ^
  22. 01:28:034 (4) - Turn this into a triple instead?
  23. 01:28:445 (5) - Stream.
  24. 01:41:596 (6) - ^
  25. 02:14:267 (5) - Make the end of this slider clickable.
Taking a look at your Insane difficulty, you face a lot of similar mistakes I've mentioned already, so unfortunately I won't be modding it. Good luck.
