I don't understand why it would be necessary to move the mouse sensitivity cursor in osu when you could do that in Windows... Can someone explain to me?

I'm 7/11 in Windows and 1.0x in osu.

changing osu sensitivity wont alter your desktop sensitivity, you may prefer it lower when browsing the net or using other games but higher in osu

changing either one is bad imo, better to change dpi of the mouse

My DPI setting has been slowly raising since I've started playing. I always feel like I need more speed as soon as I get used to my current setting.

its hardware based, so you'll need to use mouse drivers that came with the mouse. cheaper/older mice cant have their dpi changed
