Easiest diff must have "Easy" on its name to make it rankable (Ranking Criteria § Mapset)

Guest mappers's names must be added to the tags (Ranking Criteria)

Kiai is too short, it should last from 00:25:421 to 01:14:267 to match the music better

Timing sounds ok

Skin was well chosen, I liked it

Consider adding song-related tags so people will be able to find the map easily in the listings (e. g. Lee Hee-ah 이희아 - name of the pianist; "piano", etc)

I would set the volume lower at the end of the map to match the song's audio level

He didn't reply for you, I meant to say that the map should be submit by the one who put the most effort on it, which would be you in case he's not going to do another diff since you mapped the highest in the set. It's on the ranking criteria.

Hey, heres a mod :3

Calm
Some things i found weird in this diff:
00:34:652 (3) - This slider is honestly weird XD, I think you should make the last red point a normal sliderpoint and make the slider overall more beautiful.
But also i would kinda like to let the slider end at 00:35:805 - and make another circle at 00:36:190 - to map the piano right there.
00:42:729 (3) - This slider maybe make it look straigt to the right? I think it looks better with the next slider (better blanket and flow)
01:20:805 (1,2,3) - Another thing that was kinda weird imo. You rarely use hitsounds and then here soooo much. I would remove the claps on the reverses
01:36:190 (3) - Here i would do a clap at the end of this slider to make a nice ending sound
Also i would like to suggest making whistles on following sliderstarts:
00:24:652 (4) -
00:49:267 (4) -
01:13:882 (4) -
Because of this "Finish sound" that plays in the song. I think it fits on these sliders, and you didnt use whistle at all.

  1. Are you sure about the soft-hitfinish? Imo, the hitsound doesn't really match the song.. It gives off this very abrupt feeling, which doesn't go too well with the calmness of the song I think, consider replacing it with something that doesn't feel like it interrupts the song maybe?
  2. also, you could tweak your combo colours a bit, the bright pink and blue tones are completely different from the background..? O: (I'd suggest some light brown/green or mabye blue colours - http://puu.sh/qiIRa.png -)
  3. followpoint feels a bit out of place, it's looking so up to date compared to the circle and slider elements.. maybe you could exchange it with something that looks like a brushstroke? Or just change the colour to white so it's not as distracting as it is atm (imo!)

forgot about the very first object in Shmik's diff - it's placed before the first timing point which afaik isn't allowed, so if you keep it you'll need another timing point!

Hi squichu <3 Why is not it allowed? Come on, show me rule in RC :/ Many maps have objects before first timing point, so you are not right. Also Imakuri will fix my diff him self. Imakuri pls don't make nazi changes, and allways follow my style and logic. I'll try to do it self if yuo are scaring. Jusr write me PM again, if you want me to do it.

  1. Forgot this last time, the skin's missing lighting.png, even if it's only used for a split second it's still needed for a complete set.
  2. And sliderpoint10/30 aren't used anymore, slidercsorepoint is sufficient, so you can safely remove the other two.
  3. Also, remove followpoint.png, it doesn't work with the other followpoint images because it's missing the number. (If it's needed turn this into 0 and change the others accordingly)
Stuff
  1. Don't forget that timing has to be consistent, so Calm diff needs the other red line, too! (and green line in Shmik's diff is unnecessary, cause no changes, but that's minor)
    @Shmik - You're right, I might have misinterpreted RC there. Because objects have to be snapped perfectly and there might be some issues with that at some point I assumed that there has to be a red line before/on the first hitobject (spinners excluded). Then again, because of this reason, why not make sure that there's never going to be any problem with that by adding one little red line? (Yes, it's highly unlikely that's ever going to get messed up, but still o: )
  2. Oh, and combo colours in Shmiks diff should be changed too, no? Or does he want to keep them?
  3. How about adding another Kiai fountain at 00:50:036 - ? Because that's where the song starts repeating itself

  1. 00:10:036 (1) - can you avoid the overlap with the score? You could just rotate it by 180°, it's still symmetrcial to (3). Would look much better, especially in 4:3
    similar for 00:37:729 (1) - 01:26:960 (1) -
  2. 00:13:113 (1,2,3) - I think 1/1 slider + circle would match better here, so it's consistent with previous and following identical rhythms. (Variety is fine, but you change this rhythm up after 00:25:421 - anyway, so atm it just feels random.)
    If you want to have this one different 100%, consider ctrl+g for this, the slider first and then two circles, because there is one on-going sound at 00:13:113 - and then two seperate sounds at 00:13:882 - and 00:14:267 - , so would match better that way.
  3. 00:34:652 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - 00:59:267 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - 01:23:883 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - I agree with previous modders that the overlap looks really untidy and I don't understand why you don't just flip it to avoid that? It plays almost the same, while it's less confusing and better looking. example: http://puu.sh/qjOnl.jpg -(5) appears way later than (4), so the overlap of (1,5) isn't visible whily playing.

    Now otherwise the diff is technically good to go, but the copypasted stuff.. is it necessary? I mean starting 00:50:036 - with copypaste#1.. I don't like it at all tbh, but it's acceptable. I won't complain about that. But then copypaste#2 at 01:02:344 - really.... this is the exact same as the first time. Is there even a single change?
    This is -to be quite frank here- the most lazily mapped diff I've ever seen. There are so many possibilities to map this, especially the last part.. since the song becomes really quiet at the end you could work sooo damn well with SV changes, but you don't map it at all but just copypaste previous objects..
With that being said - I'd really like to see some more changes made to Shmik's diff, at least to the last part so it's not identical to the first.
Don't get me wrong, I won't deny a bubble if you absolutely don't want to change anything, I just highly recommend doing that for the sake of providing a tiny little bit of variety and therefore much more fun to the players.

Poke me when this was replied to. (Preferably by Shmik, cause I'd really like to hear some good reasons for this laziness, if there even are any. :/ )
