I'd make this nice and simple, but I want to explain the situation as I see it.

I just installed Osu! again today after reformatting windows, I have all the necessary plug-ins and drivers installed. When Osu! opens, it looks just normal, but if you notice, I have 0 beatmaps.

When I go to play, it tries to load the songs, but this error pops up.

After I click ok, this pops up.

Now you may thing I have no songs in my folder, but you're wrong, there are.

I'll be trying my best to solve it myself, but I'd like to see if anyone has an answer.

Have you tried removing the folders and putting them back in?

(or pressing f5 but I don't think that would fix it in this case)

Yes I have done that twice already, is there a way to change the songs folder to a different destination and link it that way?

Can you try right click on the Songs folder -> Properties -> Security and giving yourself full access to it?

Didn't work with Full Control.

Make a new folder on your desktop, copy osume.exe into it and run it there. It'll redownload osu! into that folder. Copy your songs into it then try to run it from there and see if that works.
