Problem Details:
The only songs available for selection in game are ones where the artist starts with A to E. This started happening yesterday, and I am hoping to gain some enlightenment on why it occurs.

Have you changed this?

If not try pressing F5 in song select or moving the osu!.db out.

How would that change the fact that they are filtered for A-E (and missing F-Z) and not doing anything with other star ratings

Maybe he just got maps from A-E just with specific stars and the others not.
Was just a thought.

Was thinking about that. Definitely try that, and if that doesn't work, try moving osu!.db out of your osu! folder as said above.

I tested this and it doesn't effect my letters. Just reduces the numbers.
