Then that's your keyboard problem...

Is f5 set as another keybind in your settings? You can find this in Options > Change keyboard settings.

no, the problem is that the game doesn't make me the option to set a key for "Refresh"
and yes i saw the keyboard settings
i think the game is trolling me

i will upload a video, so you can see that F5 doesn't work ;_;
i remember in the past it worked, then i upgraded to windows 10 and then it stopped to work

Does windows 10 have a default keybinding for f5? Maybe disable that

maybe...
please can you tell me how to remove that key?

What happens when you press f5 out of the game?
And are you sure the button works (maybe the button itself is broken)

Also, what Pawsu meant; Maybe you've set the keybinding of an other bindable option to f5. Go through all the bindings, and make sure nothing is set to f5

i'm playing on a laptop, if i press F5 out of the game it basically remove the option to move the cursor with the touchpad

Then likely that overrides to option to refresh your beatmap list...

If your keyboard has special function keys, normally there is another key or a certain key you must press to get the basic windows functions. Not the custom one your keyboard has (Example, Disabling Trackpad)
non one c

On the most systems the button is called "Fn".
Try holding "Fn" and than pressing F5.
