[resolved] Registering osu! files on new PC with portable install?

I play osu! off my hard drive so I could play it in any computer. However, I got a new computer so now osu! files, like beatmaps and skins, as well as osu!direct links on the website don't work. Is there a way I can register these on my new computer without reinstalling osu!?

osu! version: 20160525.2 (latest)

When osu! starts it should ask you for administrive previleges.
Just click yes and it should do it.

Okay, so, UAC didn't pop up when I started osu! and the files weren't associated with I manually ran osu! as admin. I deleted my osu! config file, since I figured maybe it didn't happen because I already did it on my old computer (which I had the same profile name on, due to Windows 10). After doing that and running osu!, I was given the UAC request. I granted it and now everything seems to be registered fine. Thanks for the step in the right direction. :)
