The new forum design is the future page which is still under changes so most likely this won't happen.
The website isn't even fully complete yet so I don't see this happening until it's completely finished and usable

The reason you need to click it is because it's still in development and not meant to be used 24/7 yet. We were given access so we can preview the future and give feedback. Once the new design is done and set, your wish will already be granted.
Not all pages are done yet. I don't see this happening until it's all complete
Most of all the server that hosts the new forum is rather weak so it would probably die if many people started putting it as default.
Once the new forum is ready this one won't be available anymore I guess, so...
