M4M, a little late sorry ;-;
[General]
- Your silent hitsounds are not done correctly. They sound be the ones provided in RC to prevent using any extra space.
soft-sliderslide.wav is 1ms
soft-sliderslide2.wav is 1ms
The correct blank audio file can be downloaded directly from the RC here. - Remove "electro" from the tags. That will be added to the map once it is ranked and assigned a genre.
- I recommend making your slider set more gradual, something like 3/3.5/4/etc. would be much more fluent imo.
- If you want to add more tags, consider ios android mobile Rayark
- I understand why you are using soft-slidertick2, but slidertick hitsounds are discouraged for a reason. That reason is that players who get used to hearing hitsounds on emphasized notes they click will be thrown-off by loud slidertick hitsounds. I recommend keeping it, but slightly lowering the volume about -2/3 dB.
- 00:13:529 (5) - If you lowered the CS, you would avoid making overlaps with the hp drain bar like this one. This isn't required
anymore, but it would be less confusing, especially an easy player, if you removed overlaps with the hp drain bar. - 00:43:176 (2,3) -
blanket - 01:17:059 (2,3,4,1) - It's strange that the flow 01:18:470 (4,1) - here is better than the flow 01:17:059 (2,3) - here. In Easy, using tighter angles/flow breaks/direction changes is an ideal way to give emphasis. I recommend making this flow better, like this:
- 01:22:353 - Similar ^, try this:
- those screenshots are just suggestions and you can probably think of something better if you want lol
- 00:00:823 (2,3,4) -
make the triangle betterit would be really simple if you just moved 00:00:118 (1,2) - these to fix itI wouldn't mention this if your other triangles weren't so good - 00:23:412 (2,3) - If you raised the CS to 3.5, then you wouldn't have these notes so close together. It's not a big problem, but more of an aesthetic peeve.
- 00:38:588 (4) - you can place this between 00:36:823 (1) - / 00:38:235 (3) - these for a nice hexagon pattern if you want. And of course, readjust the blanket if you do.
- 01:10:000 (6,7,1) - This would flow better and look better if 01:10:000 (6,1) - these were consistently curved or straight like you did 01:28:353 (4,5,1) - here.
- 01:26:235 (4) - Overlap peeve, you can avoid this easily.
- 00:27:294 (2,3) - There's no reason to use a large jump here. You used 00:24:823 - nothing here, so it's inconsistent and just a little excessive. I recommend ctrl+g 00:27:294 (2) - there.
- 00:36:823 - It's not necessarily a bad thing, but I don't see why you decided to skip the downbeat here. Personally, it seems too confusing for Hard compared to the jump you use for the downbeat 00:35:412 - here. If you want to fix, I recommend you remove 00:36:470 (4) - this reverse, and add something 00:36:470 (4) - here stacked onto 00:37:000 - that.
- 00:41:059 - ^ same if you agreed.
- 00:42:470 (1) - Add an NC to keep your 1 measure reasoning consistent.
- 01:17:765 (1) - ^
- 01:18:823 - Consider making this a clickable beat. This also makes it consistent with 01:30:647 (2,3) - this.
- 01:26:235 - If you want to follow the melody more consider this rhythm:
- 01:08:235 (2,3,4,5,6) - the obtuse angles you use here and the 01:09:294 (1,2,3,4) - right angles you use here are fine. However, t's a problem of it being inconsistent with the second kiai, which uses primarily acute angles. The obtuse and right angles are harder to play than the acute angles, so I recommend making them narrower. But, I understand if you want to make the first kiai harder to compensate for the lack of objects in comparison to the second kiai.
- I didn't find much here.
Best of luck with the ranking~
