Hey, would like a request for this map, goreshit - o'er the flood

People are familiar with the song due to grumd's popular set, but I think my map takes a good spin on the song, utilizing the songs intensity to create a challenging beatmap that will test a players' stamina and their technical skills. I think it would be a welcome addition to the ranked section.

Hi you should check it because you are looking for marathon and technical maps and this map is both. Its not technical play-wise but i used some technical concepts in the mapping , so far it has 3 bn mods but none of them wants to bubble it since they dont understand my logic and dont feel safe iconing it. so i hope you can help me with it somehow

Marathon map. i think its not generic because it has no blankets, no circular flow and structured not like 2015+ map. with latest mods i changed almost nothing so i guess it is ready for ranking and here i am.

its not like map is technical but what technical even mean lol hanzer streams?

Heyo Cryptic!

This is a 5 minute long map, the song is a mash-up of different songs so the mapping is different in defferent sections too, so the map has diversity after I asked around, peeps told me it has good quality after they testplayed it. I was aiming to make it as fun to play as possible and others told me it is really fun to play so i think it's safe to say that I reached my goal on that part. My other goal would be to rank it so more peeps can enjoy it too. It's not a pp map, my idea was like "If you are tired to FC maps for pp, here is a fun map that you can unwind with and ease your stress". I talked with BNs like Doyak and Sonnyc and they also said that it is an interesting map with good sliider usage and it only needs some slight adjustments and it's ready. I hope you will consider helping me out.

While some people complain about my way to emphasize things and represent the music in an uncommon way (DS emphasis that makes the "low" difficulty technical) for a 4.57* difficulty, I think that the method i used doesn't really exist that much in current ranked section but still emphasizes the song well on its own way. That's why I believe that my mapset gives the current ranked section a bit more variety from the usual maps. Furthermore the artist herself and the type of music is kind of rare in the ranked section which actually makes me personally really sad.

An old song, and I try to use sharp and sudden sv change to emphasize a specific part in the song (in highest diff, many 0.2-(1.5-2.0)x alternate sv change)

Hello Cryptic.

I don't know if this map meets the criteria of your current round. It's marathon at least.
Why is it different from other maps of this kind? it's undermapped :D, but i tried to do my best to keep it reasonable.
The reason why i decided to go with the BN mod, is that i don't receive much proper feedback anymore. And you'd give me a great boost to the quality.
Or maybe sth even more.

i believe you would be the kind of bn that would support something like this, instead of other bns who just ignore my map after seeing cs 6.9 extra and a high speed gimmick extra diff (atleast its not generic), it should be ready to rank because when i testplay it myself and asking others, there are no major issues that needs fix tbh also 70 sp X d

the map is NOT generic, maybe.. because the music genre youll see when u check it ... I've put a lot of effor onto it tbh, I think it can be ranked but im not really 100% sure since I havent get any BN to check it. I would like someone (a BN) to tell, just.. yeah your map can be ranked someday with more work or.. if it its good enough atm (I think it is, I've played lot of time and got like 10 playtesters for it, they always tell me if they find something weird) atm no playtester have find something weird and everything seems to be oklay/perfect. I think its good enough now but you know.. I still need that someone with experience to tell me.

Hello Cryptic, I think that my map has the quality required for ranking, it has a kind of gameplay and music that we don't often found on this game (but vocals are japanese). The map has already one bubble +35 sp and 13 mods, hope you like it !

The song is from japanese popular band (i suppose) its from RADWIMPS, i believe you are familiar with that name. this map is something new. its more than your standard dubstep tech-map that gained popularity in the past year. this map focuses on very intricate rhythms and explores the concept of microflow and challenges normal spacing conventions while maintaining good structure and playability.
i believe the map is ready to rank since i have gotten many mods and refined it very much, as well as received good feedback from many players.

high star rating map modded by a lot of top players (idke being the main person to suggest playability adjustments, amamiya modded too and aireu/monko irc suggestions) and pkk mod as well for aesthetics and other stuff

we need more hard punk/metal/alternative songs and u can agree because u ranked promethean kings the absolute madman

also it's edgy and i know u like edge songs

Is a Approval where I spend so much time, doing it/remapping, and I have so much love in it, I really don't want to lose my hope to rank it some day, so I will really apreciate all of your help.
I know I'm not to much experienced in mapping, so some feedback/experienced tips/suggestions of new patterns, etc will be really awesome! I don't know if a cover thing is really in the category of generic (is a techno/dnb/vocal mix, touhou related), I guess I can try atleast! I hope you like it, like I enjoyed storyboarding/mapping it :3

Because of it's BG, it's not a pp map and because osu needs less moe song and more bands like KANA-BOON. Also it's not a generic song.

This is my first map I have ever made which I put effort.
I think it is unique as there are only a few Undertale ranked songs, with even fewer being the main songs. I decided to take one of the most intense songs in the game. (Your best Nightmare & Finale remixed by DM dokuro)
It is generically mapped though, so that may disqualify it from your queue.
This is a marathon, partly due to the length of the songs, the fact separating them would make no sense, and the fact I do not know how to map for lower difficulties.
Any advice would be good, and I hope you are willing to provide me with some!

it's a 5min map, only 1 difficulty. also the first map that i'm trying to rank.

i'm not really sure what's generic and what isn't since i haven't played that many maps made last year, but it's a pretty straightforward map.
i think it's pretty fun, but i am a little biased.

i feel like this map is pretty much done, so i am posting here in hopes of knowing if it is or not.

also i really like buckethead (started listening to him 5 months ago) and want to map(and rank hopefully) more of his awesome works.
it would be really cool if more people listened to him and maybe even map some of his works, but i digress.

8 minute map (an instant turn off for most modders) that has a star difficulty of 7.62, its an Imperial Circus song.
It is my second map that i have put full dedication and a fair few hours of work into. It only has one difficulty atm but i might consider getting a GD later on if the map is getting good feedback.

Marathon song from a genre (ethnic) that I feel osu has little ranked songs of.
Not a really stellar mapper, but I tried my best and it's a pretty straightforward map.

Been working on it for 7 months now, so I think it's as polished as I'm going to be able to make it on my own. Also got a bubble from kibb, so I guess there's that?

Well, you might seen other maps are better than this, or match with your wish more. I don't mind if you didn't pick me, but this map actually made me met more friends and everyone said pls ranked this. I want too. Also i want to mention that one of our mapper in this map decided to leave osu mapping, and i really want to ranked this mapset to get a final ranked gd for him. Hi, Since your modding queue is open, would you like to check my 30 second short map with 5 difficulties? Although it's not kinda Technical mapping, but i would appreciate if someone are willing to push my map forward as my first ranked map

The mapset includes 2 insanes, 1 hard, 1 normal and 1 easy diff, and the highest is being 3.89* , Not high enough for Insane but i think it's enough for a soft and short song like this, the highest difficulty have mostly triangles and blankets with supports the structure mostly, it also have some slider overlaps and jumps on finish, the rhythm is mostly balances on vocal and drums.

I think this map is enough for rank because I have been got a opinion from a former BN, which think the mapset looks pretty nice: p/5757402 And have been modded by 3 experienced modders: lit120 ( p/5747470 ) , 09kami (p/5785165) and Xinely ( p/5780749 ) , The Insane GD is also made by a former BN (Momochikun) , Which also makes me think it can be satisfied to rank

About the drain time thing, it just the website doesn't count the spinner at the end, the map starts from 00:00:284 - to 00:30:496 - ,Which rounded up will have 30.192 seconds, which meets the minimum requirement of 30 second drain time, thus, Karen and lit wouldn't have pass through the ranking process for the spinner technique, details can be seen here: p/5776403

why i think it's ready:
1. it's a full spread set, and most of diffs are made by my self. i love this song.
2. it spend me over a month to map Another and Extra diff. in Another diff, i try to make every objects sense, and fun to play. in Extra diff, i use a unique pattern, which is fun to play, too. (you can check #1 reply in the thread)
3. it's 38 sp now, and got many experenced mapper and modder's mods and stars. (Hollow wings, moonlightleaf, kunka, -Nanaka- and many more)
4. i asked some top players to test play, they think it's fun to play. (Riven, MatsumotoRise and many more)

what set its apart from all the other mapsets:
1. this song is tempo3/4. that means its downbeat will be more than other 4/4 or 2/4 songs, which makes it more suitable with the pattern i used in Extra.
2. good spread. because all diffs are made by myself, i can controll the spread better. for example, if i use a long stream in Extra and Another, i wil use short stream in Insane, 1/4 reverse in Hard, 1/2 in Adv and Normal, 1/1 in Easy.

tbh im not sure what kinda marathon qualifies as generic since most of em tend to differ a lot from each other from my experience but, this one is aimed at a less experienced player audience (2.88* = roughly a hard). It's a collaboration with some experienced and some not so experienced mappers so feel free to take a look if you have time.

I believe my set is almost ready as it has had its main issues already pointed out by the previous BNs. The main issues that caused the pop have all either been fixed or has been heavily discussed already. The set itself contains quite a wide variety of mapping styles so you won't find a bunch of diffs that look the same, I hope that proves to be interesting enough. Thanks, I hope you like it!

Why should you mod this? Well honestly you probably shouldnt, there are some other great maps out there that most likely need mods and bubbles more than this ever will but i still hope you will decide to look at it.

My map is a marathon (6 min), it's a calm vocaloid song going in crescendo with a "climax" at the end. (moreover there's a lot of feeling in the voice)
Although there's just one mod on it, I think it is ready for rank because I really worked on the patterns and movements (and it's been a while since I started mapping so most of the mods I could receive would be pattern suggestions).
Since the song goes crescendo, there's a constant increase of the S.V, which makes patterns diversified while still following a general theme/structure of the mapping. I think it makes my map differents from others, plus some slider shapes following the voice changes, and the combo colours which follow the video's theme.

Alright so what I think sets this map apart is that while the 1st part of the song is pretty generic 1/2 rhythms the 2nd part of the song has some pretty cool rhythms to map and I believe that I mapped it well according to the song. The song transitions to more and more rhythmically dense from the calmer 1/2 section with some doubles in a buildup section that add triples in as a constant rhythm later on. The song then has a calm before the storm that instantly transitions into a rhythm hell section with constant doubles and a few 5 note streams and a couple stream jumps. This is where the song finally comes to it's climax with the constant doubles leading into stream jumps mapped according to the song.

In conclusion, I hope that doesn't sound too generic although it sounds like every other technical map ever.

Alright, I figured that i could also try requesting here and maybe get lucky :D Why not

I have a map that is waiting to be qualified, its super late since its a Russian New Years song so yee.. It has been bubbled by Garden
GDs are all made by very competent mappers who know what they are doing and also my difficulty, even tho the rhythm is not that complicated, is of good quality. I am sure especially the russian osu! community will enjoy this map a lot wich doesnt mean that others wont enjoy it of course (Its also kind of a meme lmao). Its most fun with DT (+HD) cause the map flows perfectly imo). Drain time is 1:43, with 4 Diffs by Bakari, TheMefisto, Shmiklak and me, SP +25. Why so many GDs? Because i was afraid that the diffs wouldnt have such good quality since i am not too experienced with them. So my main point that i want to get this ranked asap is because a New Years map ranked in like.. march would be super dumb and not really fitting. I already had a BN for Nomination... (sieg <3) but he recently lost his BN status and well.. that was pretty depressing lol. Since i cant snipe queues cause i have a life i hope you can help me out with that one, it would be super nice of you really

So, my map is pending since over a month and I got many mods. I actually think this map is rankable since many modders couldnt figure out many problems. I just need someone more proffessional to check it out and I would appreciate every mod. The thing is that Ive been making maps since 2 years and my mapping styles changed like all the time. I can still remember my first maps which I already deleted because they were just shit. But after 2 years I think its time to rank a map of mine. I have asked someone called Sharkie to make a nice Extra diff and he did it. The Drain time is 1:09 and it has 5 difficulties.

Well I think thats all I can say.

Quite technical as it's originally a BMS song, what I hope sets it apart is the emphasis on flow and rhythm.
Has been polished and bubbled a few times since its submission one year ago, but circonstances prevented me from getting it finally qualified.
