I think it's ready for rank, cause a lot of people don't find so much to mod in it. Also, good mappers did excellents diffs in the set, and some diffs uses technicam patterns (like FCL's diff).

A map with generally slow slider velocity, which I was thinking fits the theme and song genre quite well. This means the map is perfect for people who have great snapping abilites otherwise they just fail miserably.

GRAVITY in this map is a diff which requires extraordinarily good aim to play since small circle is used while large variation of stream spacing & stream pattern has been applied in the map (Including the widely spaced one). I guess this is the skill that current maps rarely test on (usually they will test for aims for jump instead of stream) which makes this map special. RLC's INF and my EXH diff(CS 5.6 ftw <3) also test on player's aim since small circles is used, yet the pattern used is easier to play.

"technical" maps... The concepts that usually goes for this are mainly being applied in recent times by eletronic/Camellia mapping. However you did mention that "require good reading skills or in-depth technical skills are required, that means no generic jump/stream maps."

I believe that 240 bpm is the borderline from the fast bpm mapping to the usual mapping. The difficulites of this mapset explores that limit. From the NORMAL difficulty to the final EXTRA, most of my GDs and myself tried to deliver a rankable yet different mapping. I gave them total freedom to explore whatever mapping they wanted to explore instead of going with a continuous spread idea. The result is different styles and ideas in a NNHIIEE spread. Each difficulty has some sort of gameplay aspect (skill required) instead of just escalate difficulty by just spacing things more or creating more density in the rhythm.

I'm not looking for bubble modding, but mostly an improvement mod, since regular modders simply can't help anymore on this mapset (they told myself they couldn't find anything to mod considering all the 11 pages of discussion).

Ok so I'll be honest , so far as of writing , this map has only 1 mod. But I think you should try to look at it because of a few reasons .
1) This is actually my first map after a long hiatus of mapping due to being overly bad at it so I hope it can get some good feedback...
2) What makes it stand out...I'm not sure . If anything , the drain time is about 4 minutes plus , and I could have easily played with the break time somewhere so it can exceed 5 mins and I only need to make 1 difficulty , but I decided not to because its a song I like and I want to make more difficulties to cater to all levels of mappers...Not making an Insane though cos, yeah bad at it lol
If it makes your list I'll be happy but if it doesn't , thanks anyways :)

Idk what do you mean exactly with "technical map" but I'm pretty sure my map is not the usual 2016 mapping (at least I have a logic behind it).

Ah, Its hard for me explain something in english... This is remapped version of great Aleks719's marathon of songs created in 2013. That map playing nice, almost all modders like it and I am sure it worth to check. I think its ready for rank, because my map have pretty simple patterns and nice flow without big issues, but still with different rhythm and BSD (sometime 1/4 combain with 1/3) thats map requires good read skill, because of that map is pretty intersting to play.

Hello Cryptic, this is my second attempt to ask a check here :)

Well I can't just state I have a good technical skill on mapping, that will be too subjective and bias lol. But I do have confident that my set have a good quality to be checked and pushed forward. Everything in my set made by me with no guest diff (except the song ofc) including background and storyboard, I think that will be my strong point that you should pick mine :p

Rings of Saturn - Senseless Massacre

I think it's ready for how small my mods are getting for the map, around 2 to 5 things people find. Seems to be really polished! The patterns I hear people complaining are for the most part hard to read, but I think that's mainly because they're not atoned to these types of patterns.

While it may seem like an ordinary (stream) map to some, I can't say it really is since the patterns used there don't belong to the typical stream or jumo maps really. It includes a lot of 1/4 rhythms, which are spaced out by a ton (at least the higher diffs) and it may require some precise aim to hit them. This definitely is not ine of the usual (and normal) technical maps but I will say it is different from the rest and requires more aim, which is why I am posting here :D
Why I think it's ready? Well, tbh the Insane is being nerfed a bit currently, but I'd say that it is in a rankable and enjoyable state and I want to increase the quality of it as much as possible, which is why an icon here isn't exactly too important to me

in this map, i strived to created innovative and tricky rhythms/patterns; especially in the Another difficulty. i want to bring uniqueness back into the osu! mapping meta, so i try my best to create maps that are well structured yet creative. i believe my map could use a few more mods before being considered for nomination, but i would really like an experienced modder's perspective on it.

i was going to post my all star map, but i figured this would be a better option to put up, since it's actually technical. i mapped this almost two years ago, and i had gotten around 10 pages of mods with no luck of reaching a bn. the map features (what i believe to be) tasteful overlaps, technical streams, and "sexy" sliders. i've mapped most of the diffs and it's under 2 minutes long.

yes it's in graveyard, but i'd rather not take it out of grave unless someone is able to check it out.

On first glance this might be a not so quirky map, however the kiai changes that. The drumstep parts take a major shift from the DnB mapping before, with low SV and technical 5bursts. This is also where reading gets a tad harder, seeing as overlaps staret to appear en masse and jumpsliders get more common.

What sets this map apart? For once, a take on DnB-mapping i havent seen anywhere else yet. Instead of taking Drum and bass as a wildcard for 1/2 spam, i decided to actually map DnB, that meaning, the drums. contains some "doubles" and a kinda gimmicky buildup.for each kiai section.

Now, do I believe this map is ready for approval? I gotta be honest, I dont know. I know fully well that I as the creator cannot judge the quality of my creation fully objectively. However tons of modders and testplayers told me to go for it, so I'll gladly trust in their opinions!

So, I have this nice and bubbled marathon; that might say something about its rankability already. Now it may not be the most technical if that's the only trait you're looking for, but I do still think it can be called somewhat technical for its difficulty since it does utilize 1/3 rhythms. And even if the map isn't exactly what you were looking for, I hope you'll fall in love with the song! Since it's the sweetest!

Hope this can be seen as a sort of backup now that the packet hero set didn't quite work out. Hope you like it ^^

ugh why i think the map is ready for rank, tbh i don't know if it is or isn't it's hard to judge since i never ranked one :p, but i do know one thing that people have been telling me is that although it may not be perfect, but it has nothing in it that would stop it from getting ranked, good shapes, flow blah blah. Hey i mean at the end of the day it's your choice to pick it or not, I'm just gonna be honest and not go full lie mode and go "o yea this is perfect, please mod and bubble". Mostly I'm asking for a mod to see where I'm standing atm, like yeno if i should try and push this set further or just keep practising idk, I don't consider myself good but maybe after I succeed in something i will idk.

This is my first beatmap that I am going for rank and I hope I would achieve ranking it.
I think its already ready for ranking since the mapset is done and the mods might be enough?
If not then I would appreciate a mod for someone that has more experience.
If it gets an icon or a mod then I would be really thankful and I hope I can improve my skills in
mapping with this map. I don't want to get my effort of this map go to waste but I can be patient
in ranking it.

All Expert Difficulties and the "Another" difficulty are very technical and are made by very experienced technical mappers . it has enough mods already (Might get two or three till u move to this map if u accept) . Anyway .. All the modders have been giving me nice feedbacks and they say map is ready to go

as for the explanation of why its a technical map. the reading skill and skill to play technical patterns and such in general is shown throughout all the diffs, in one way or another. a lot of complex patterning and gimmicky style is apparant in the entire mapset, which really fits Sota Fujimori's song.in my opinion

I'm not sure how technical this mapset is as it does fit under the "stream" maps category aswell. Thoughout the mapset the SV is quite high when compared to other mapsets nowdays and the higher difficulties, mainly another and special, usage of patterning that is not usually used (Sudden changes of direction of flow, alot of short slider jumps/patterns, constant stream/jumps/stream ect. stylish song and many more nasty ways to break some comboes) in the current mapping meta.

Modders and testplayers apperently like the overall patterning and the feeling the mapping provides, also kibbleru stated that it's pretty much rankable with an exception of few patterns (which may or may not be fixed, depending on who is looking at the map). I am a noname mapper who does not have ranked sets nor guest difficulties (yet) and it's a goal i want to achieve. With your help it would be possible. It also kinda breaks the current meta which i explained before making it quite differing when compared to other mapsets. Lastly it's a VOEZ song so it getting ranked would make it the first (STD) ranked VOEZ mapset.
