Well, the background beat is gone, so I don't really think it's that intense.
Try explaining why it's intense as well, so the mapper can see it from your viewpoint, since "intense" is a subjective term.

Fixed the last three.
The others would break flow, and imo flow is more important than blankets.

From what I know, you should try to keep the slider velocity multiplier within a reasonable range as to not confuse newer players with too sudden changes. 1.0x slider velocity to 0.9x should not be a large, unexpected change.

The fact that it's denser is just to reflect the music. Kiai uses 1/1s because they fit imo.
    tbh kiai doesn't have to be denser than other parts, it just usually happens to be that way because it often has more beats and is heavier in terms of instruments.

Staggering helps to make variety in normal difficulties. For example, maybe stagger 00:04:224 (1) to the left and adjust 00:04:052 (3) accordingly. Just preference, but it's something you can play around with. :)
I see what you mean, but I'll keep it for now, since staggering hasn't been used in the other parts of the map.
00:41:983 (2) - Move closer to sliderend.
For distance spacing I assume. Moved a pixel or two closer using distance snapping.

Advanced
00:47:672 (2,1) - Push 2's first slider point down so it makes the pattern of 2 and 1 nicer.
Doing that would break DS and symmetry though. I do agree it looks a bit off, I'll think about how to solve it.

You're right. Lunatic now uses OD 7 instead of 6.5.

The source on some of the diffs are different. Might want to check that out.

On my copy there were no problems with source.

I tried it and I see what you mean, but it changes the flow quite drastically from what it already is.
The reason why 00:02:500 (3,4,5,6,1) - changes direction like it does is just to emphasize the downbeat by reversing the flow.
The pattern between 00:02:845 (1,2,3,4) - is a reoccuring theme throughout this section and I think it reflects the song well.
You may notice the flow is quite jagged and has a lot of sharp turns, forcing the cursor to move forwards and back with high spacing. This is intentional.

00:04:741 (3,1,3) - This is kinda a weird overlap. Maybe move 00:04:741 (3) - to x:153 y:294?

Smoother flow, sure, but "better" is subjective.
In my opinion, flow in an insane difficulty should reflect the song by reversing to emphasize sound differences.
In this case, 00:42:500 - has a significantly different pitch from 00:42:328 - , which I'm emphasizing through a jump and reverse.
Same goes for 00:43:879 - and the others.

I tried this, but it didn't quite feel right. The sounds have the same pitch, so going off the same logic I used earlier, it'd make no sense to reverse the flow (or making sharp turns through jump circle patterns) when there's no distinct sound difference.
I rounded the shape a bit more, so now the cursor will move around in a circle and transition into the stream better.

Either way, stopping flow at this section where many things have high spacing is probably not a good idea.

    New combos isn't about some number on the notes. It's about following the measures. This is what I do in all the other difficulties, and so I'll keep it consistent across the whole mapset. It doesn't matter if I have 2 or 3 notes per combo; what matters is how the combos fit to the song and how it will affect your HP drain. If I gain too much health from the combos, I increase HP, but imo it's fine as it is.

I don't think it's that hard to predict. All new combos are on new measures, so you basically just have to click that circle and then wait for the next beat (since new combos begin on downbeats). I'll wait for more opinions, although I see your point.

It's funny, this measure follows both piano and drums, but doesn't prioritize any of them. I'll remap this part. (I'll keep the repeat though, as I think it's a good transition from piano to drums and allowing me to cover both at similar emphasis)

Since you're just asking, I'll explain it. For one, it's a theme around this section. The main reason is because they're basically the same pitch, and also provides some acceleration for 01:10:259 (6,1) - , after the flow break here, to reflect the piano's rising pitch.
01:13:017 (5) - the linear flow here 01:12:845 (4,5,1) - unemphasizes it
Perhaps in a flow sense, but not rhythmically. The slider's inherit hold requirement is what emphasizes it.
You may be confused as to why there is a jump to 01:12:328 (3) - but not to 01:13:190 (1) - , and this is because (3) does not have a sound right before it like (1) does 01:13:017 (5) - .
I moved (1) so it doesn't overlap (3), but it's sort of irrelevant to your suggestion.

Easier to tap directly, sure, but it builds up tension and stress for the player knowing they have to press 01:52:500 (2) - right after, from a slider with a large amount of repeats compared to the other 1/4 repeating sliders, and this is how I chose to reflect the music.
01:42:500 (2) - move to (300;72) so the spacing looks the same overall
This whole combo 01:42:155 (1,2,3,4) - now uses 1.10x to give this section a greater intial burst.
