Hello Jon and guys, I would like to point out some issues existing in the set.

  • [Futsuu]
  1. From 00:48:000 - 01:20:000 - there are no 2/1 or longer breaks throughout the kiai. making the gap with Kantan quite significant. I would suggest removing some notes so beginners could rest a bit between patterns.
  2. 00:48:500 (2) - delete ? By doing this there will be a 2/1 break placing naturally between vocals.
  3. 00:56:500 (18) - 01:04:500 (2) - 01:12:500 (18) - same as ^
  • [Muzukashii]
  1. From 00:15:500 to 01:20:000 - there are no 3/2 or longer breaks throughout this 65-second session. This is rather demanding compared to the availability of rest moments in Futsuu.
  2. 00:47:500 (3,4) - these notes could simply be removed for a 2/1 break before the dense kiai.
  • [Ayyri's Inner Oni]
  1. 00:55:750 - 01:03:750 - 01:11:750 - I would recommend removing these kiai gaps. They are in fact unnecessary as the pace of music remain constant and pose visual interference due to frequent on-off toggling.

all problems on my difficulty fixed~

I would say that the kiai breaks are not a problem because they don't distract, and the kiai is so long anyway

Here comes a follow through mod for all difficulties. You may kudosu this post instead of p/6239111 due to exemption.

  • [Kantan]
  1. 00:16:000 (17) - consider changing this note to k to fit the relatively high-pitched music ? This would result in a better flow with the upcoming k k d at 00:18:000 (19,20,21) - as well.
  2. 00:20:000 (22) - 00:32:000 (36) and 00:36:000 (41) - same as ^
  • [Futsuu]
  1. 00:16:000 (1,5) - similar to Kantan, you may swap these notes to k d. The 1/1 pattern would be more consistent with 00:20:000 (8,9,10,11) - , thereby strengthening the overall structure.
  2. 00:18:750 (6,7) - maybe try k d here for contrasting 00:22:750 (13,14) - and variety's sake ?
  3. 00:30:750 (32) - you may remove this note and change 00:30:500 (31) - to d to cohere with 00:46:500 (31,32) - and make it more intuitive to play.
  4. 00:32:000 (1,5) - same as 00:16:000 (1,5) -
  5. 00:34:750 (6,7) - same as 00:18:750 (6,7) -
  6. 00:51:250 (7) - As the current kiai looks repetitive, consider moving this note to 00:52:500 - and change to k for pattern variation ?
  7. 00:53:250 (11) - similar to ^ , you may move this note to 00:54:500 - and change to k too.
  8. 01:07:250 (7) and 01:09:250 (11) - same as ^
  • [Muzukashii]
  1. 00:18:000 (6,8) - similar to Futsuu, you may swap these notes to d k.
  2. 00:34:000 (6,8) - same as ^
  3. 00:39:500 (10,11) - maybe swap these notes to d k to follow Futsuu's patterning ?
  4. 00:42:000 (17) - similar to ^ , k could be used here.
  5. 00:44:750 (25) - you may change this note to k to keep it consistent with 00:28:750 (25) -
  • [snow's Oni]

    Looks fine.
  • [Ayyri's Inner Oni]
  1. 00:55:750 - 01:03:750 - 01:11:750 - Kiai being long is not the reason of cutting it this way. As mentioned in the previous post, frequent on-off toggling with 1/2 gap does nothing with the constant music pace. Please reconsider merging like the rest of the difficulties.
You may call me back after that.

  3. 00:30:750 (32) - you may remove this note and change 00:30:500 (31) - to d to cohere with 00:46:500 (31,32) - and make it more intuitive to play. I'd rather not since the pitch doesn't lower from 00:30:000 (30,31) - there
  4. 00:32:000 (1,5) - same as 00:16:000 (1,5) - fixed
  5. 00:34:750 (6,7) - same as 00:18:750 (6,7) - fixed
  6. 00:51:250 (7) - As the current kiai looks repetitive, consider moving this note to 00:52:500 - and change to k for pattern variation ? for me the 3/2 break 00:52:000 (9,10) - here is essential because there aren't any lyrics in between when I heavily follow the lyrics, but I will find another way to variate this
  7. 00:53:250 (11) - similar to ^ , you may move this note to 00:54:500 - and change to k too. ^
  8. 01:07:250 (7) and 01:09:250 (11) - same as ^ ^
  • [Muzukashii]
  1. 00:18:000 (6,8) - similar to Futsuu, you may swap these notes to d k. I think I already did, or I'd rather keep the vocal pitches
  2. 00:34:000 (6,8) - same as ^ ^
  3. 00:39:500 (10,11) - maybe swap these notes to d k to follow Futsuu's patterning ? sure
  4. 00:42:000 (17) - similar to ^ , k could be used here. sure
  5. 00:44:750 (25) - you may change this note to k to keep it consistent with 00:28:750 (25) - sure

As mentioned in the previous post, frequent on-off toggling with 1/2 gap does nothing with the constant music pace. the kiai breaks are justified, and I want to keep Ayyri's diff as the way she intends it
You may call me back after that.
thank youuu

I have to support Nardo in the Inner Oni's kiai issue. "Kiai is too long" doesn't seem too convincing to use a mini-fountain that may cause lags in lower-end PC users. I recommend making it continuous too.

There's also that the song doesn't really drop intensity to a level that justifies kiai resetting.

Good luck in requalification!

Discussed in discord with you and Ayyri, and the kiai breaks have been removed.

still in map description xd

A quick recheck here. (no kd)

  • [General]

snow's Oni and Ayyri's Inner Oni could in fact use 70% volume like your lower difficulties. 50% seems a bit soft.
  • [Futsuu]
  1. 01:09:750 (12) - this note could be changed to k to make it consistent with 01:17:750 (26) - and coherent with the first half of the kiai.
  2. 01:19:750 (31) - you may delete it so the spread with Muzukashii would be better.

Rechecked the set again. Lower difficulties have more rest moments now and the unnecessary kiai gaps are removed.
