FINAL BOSS01:25:477 (3) - Remake this slider. AI mod says the end isn't snapped, but it's just got a wierd bug (careful or it'll crash your game like mine
).
01:25:785 (3) - Also not snapped, but this one isn't bugged.
00:03:324 (2,3,4) - 3 and 4 should have noticeably less spacing than 2 since they're a lot quieter. Maybe something like
this?00:05:478 (3,1) - Repeating the overlap would work better since that's what the player is expecting and there's not really a change except in slider length.
00:05:940 (2,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3) - I think this whole pattern should be reworked since it doesn't have the proper spacing for the louder and quieter notes
(as in the louder notes should have higher spacing than the queiter ones etc).
00:06:401 (3) - A repeating slider might work for this sound, but it comes back again a couple more times, idk lol. Small suggestion.
00:10:709 (1,2,3) - Same thing as before. The 1 has alot lower spacing than 2 and 3, yet it's the loudest note while 2 and 3 are quieter. Lol I think you got
it by now. This is a recurring thing throughout the map so maybe it's intentional, but I'm not sure. I have heard of people using low spacing for emphasis
sometimes but I just don't think it would work here.
Examples: 00:32:863 (2,3,4) - 00:35:170 (2,3,4) - 01:10:709 (6,7,8) - 01:12:555 (2,3,4) -
00:11:170 (1,2,1,2) - The rhythm should be the same as this 00:07:478 (1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3) - and this 00:00:094 (1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3,1) - since nothing has changed
00:10:247 (1) - I'd recommend moving this more to the right of the screen or do the same as you did with these two 00:07:478 (1,1) - Since I don't think going almost directly up like that suits the music.
00:13:017 (1,2,3) - 01:06:555 (1,2,3,4,5) - 01:08:709 (2,3,4) - 01:13:940 (1,2,3,4,5) - 02:06:555 (1,2,3,4,5) - 02:07:017 (1,2,3,4) -
02:10:247 (1,2,3,4,5) - 02:10:709 (1,2,3,4) - 02:13:940 (1,2,3,4,5) - 02:14:401 (1,2,3,4) - 02:17:632 (1,2,3,4,5) - 02:18:094 (1,2,3,4) -
02:32:401 (1,2,3,4) - 02:32:863 (1,2,3,4) - These are all held notes and shouldn't really be streams since there aren't any individual sounds on each tick.
Sliders or short repeating sliders would fit better.
Sometimes you do linear patterns like these 01:05:170 (2,3,4) - 01:14:401 (6,7,8) - and other times jump patters such as these 01:10:709 (6,7,8) - 01:07:017 (6,7,8) -
I think I'd be best to either stick with linear or jump patters when they all kinda sound the same. Maybe make smaller changes to keep things interesting rather than switching between linear movement and jumps.
01:00:094 (1,2,3) - Switching to a counterclockwise motion is very awkward here. It isn't well supported by the music. A better time to make a change would be on the big white ticks (what are they called? lol) or simply here 00:59:170 (1) - here 01:01:017 (1) - and here 01:02:863 (1) -
This is a good example of what I mean 01:56:401 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6) - the change in the pattern here 01:59:478 (3,4,5,6) - is well supported by the music. Also I like that jump section alot
.
01:33:940 (3,4,1) - 01:34:863 (3,4,1) - 01:35:786 (3,4,1) - 01:36:709 (3,4,1) - I think you should overlap these because thats kinda what you've been doing before and it feels odd to play.
Also a final note about spacing, there are jumps in less intense parts of the song that have similar or the same spacing as those in the kiai.
Compare this 00:10:863 (2,3) - to this 01:49:017 (1,2) - . So it doesn't emphasize the kiai time very much since it has shared spacing with the less intense sections. This isn't the only time this happens as well.
Well I hope the mod is good. Overall I enjoyed playing the map (even if I didn't do very good
) and there are definitely some cool patterns in there (01:56:401 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6) -). Good luck with the mapset, I hope it does well.
