If you're looking for something serious, then Gintama definitely isn't what you're looking for otherwise I'd say download a few episodes and give it a go!

Finally got around to watching the Eden of the East movies to finish the story off; pretty good.
Also just finished the first season of Higurashi, tbh I was expecting another Gantz from what people told me about it. It was vastly better than I expected~

Space Brothers & Polar Bear Cafe, I got the same feeling from when I watched Usagi Drop in this 2 titles. These are the two anime series that I watched to take a break after reading Higurashi & Umineko
I'm not watching anything yet but when my intert's working well again I'm going to watch Haruhi Suzumiya no Yuutsu, finally. Just because of Lucky Star I have to watch this.
