Finished Angel Beats, and boy do I have mixed feelings. I really want to love this anime and call it a masterpiece, but there were just too many plot holes.
SPOILERLike why do Kanade and Naoi have special powers? When they exit the purgatory do they enter the real world as themselves again (I thought the point was to live the life that they didn't get to experience, why not just go right back?) Does god exist?! More development for characters like TK would be nice too.
But, on the other hand it really had very high quality animation, voice acting, complex and interesting characters, AMAZING music, and a unique and profound plot. Also had very little fanservice, which could be good/bad depending on how you look at it.
Also, that ending scene at the end with tenshi was really nicely done.
SPOILERGlad they included the last scene to clear the confusion as to whether otonashi stayed behind.
Overall a very nice anime, but not without its flaws 8/10
