Hmm, kinda relate on everyone's posts. I have something around 10 GB of anime OST, handpicked one-by-one myself.

IDK if others see it like me, but I pick up anime OST based on the song itself, liking or not the series/OVA. (I go for melody/lyrics, then video)
And I also pick up anime by itself, despite having crappy OP/ED themes. (I go for story, then art)

I quite understand ample japanese language, despite being a non-JP asian. But I think it's OK for me being like this.

kannagi's opening is easily one of the best out there. The animation quality is so good that I watched it every episode.

I didn't like Connect at first but it's probably up there among my favourites now. Also I can't get Renai Circulation out of my head, so I'll place that up there too.

But I think my top would be - Soko ni Aru Mono, just love the song for some reason.
