One of the major plotholes I've found while watching K-On! is that nothing is explained of what happens to the 4 students once they enter college. Is this mentioned in the mango, or will this even be mentioned in the movie? :D.

That doesn't seem to be a plothole at all. Did the series even continue beyond that point?

I know that the series ended with the people graduating, but I'm not too sure if the Manga goes past that point~. It seems like a cliff-hangery spot to end though. Especially since Jun and Ui joined the band and crap, and they need 1 more person to make the band full ;D~.

So, we can somewhat expect third Anime season (I hope so). It'd be cool to see the girls back. Also CDFA, how about a nice cup of fixing the thread's title? (You know what I mean)

Ohh interesting, would love to see the story continue into University. I wonder if they'll continue with their tea and cake tradition.

On the point of this... The fact is that the Manga has not yet gone past that point... There are rumors that the Manga will be continuing in a few months time as posted by Galkan92... Just remember that the Manga series is barely 4 years old and that Season 2's final episode was aired in September 2010...
If the Manga is indeed going to continue... Don't expect the anime to be out soon. Since K-On was a huge hit and last thing the studio's want to do is Screw up something by not following the Manga and in time... Screwing up the series... Like what happened with Claymore... So... My bet is... That, IF K-On! season 3 will be released... I'd only put my hopes for early to mid 2012...

Well.. after watching the special episode 27, I think I pretty much get the idea what the movie's gonna be about.
It won't be a simple recap of the series.. at least I hope so :D

The manga will be continuing with the four kayons in University (K-on Kirara) and azusa with the new members (K-on Carat)
K-ON! Kirara will go on sale April 9th, whilst K-ON! Carat is due to start April 28th.

And the movie December 3rd

Major plothole, you say? How about in episode 27, how Yui is calmly enjoying AIR FREAKING CONDITIONING? That doesn't make sense.
