[resolved] Can't upload beatmap for the last 4 hours

I have been legit trying to upload my beatmap for about 4 hours now lmao.

It says i can't connect to the beatmap submission center or whatever. How do i fix this?








*I can upload non-submitted beatmaps
*I can't upload any of the diffs of my own beatmap
*I literally deleted everything except (easy)

osu! version: 20160525.2 (latest)

That sounds pretty weird since you can upload other beatmaps. If it's already submitted and you're trying to update it, can you link the beatmap page? Also, can you take a screenshot of the exact error message?

Actually, i tried doing it with another beatmap now and it doesn't work........ for this to test out if it's just because of the file in the beatmap im trying to upload




(WHICH BTW, I somehow screwed up because it says it's 1.8* for Easy, but it reseted everything. There's no objects, but back to the actual problem.


I tried it on my graveyarded (now deleted) map Rookiez d Punk and it still doesn't work. TBH, it's really wierd and there's a lot of factors that might be the cause.


Sometimes when I log in, it says to not play around with my beatmap folder, but nothing gets processed. It's just on start up. I don't touch my osu directory except for skins. Somehow, my collection list also got wiped.





- Run down -

1) Now i can't upload any beatmaps at all (Whyyyyyy!!!! I finally started learning how to beatmap.... D:)

2) It occaisonally says my osu directory or folder is corrupt

I run on Windows 10
I run on Stable (Latest)
I tried running on other versions / turning off compatibility mode to upload, but it still didn't work

Should i just reinstall osu?

I very much assume you're actually logged in and connected just fine in-game, so can you switch to the cutting edge release stream from the options menu and try to submit it from there? Once you did that (and it probably failed) go to the options menu and click on the 'open osu! folder' button and open the Logs folder. Then open the network.log file in there and post its contents here please. (Or uploading the file itself and posting a link to it here is fine too.)

Looks like you can connect to everything except for the beatmap submission server, which is rather strange. It looks to 'just' be a connection issue though. If your internet connection itself is stable then this is likely a routing issue, in which case there's not much you can do aside from waiting it out. I can't say/do much more than that.


Edit: Not related to you not being able to connect to the beatmap submission server, but I just noticed your beatmap seems looks to have a BeatmapSetID of 5 and a BeatmapID of 0, so osu! will likely complain that the map isn't yours if you could connect. Just a side note.

Wat. That wasn't even about my old beatmap when i was - ISetsunaI -. I was making a beatmap literally not even a week ago. Is there any fix to this?

I'm not that familiar with reading network logs so I'm not 100% certain that what said after editing my post above is correct, but cross-referencing with my own network log it's the only conclusion I can come to. Anyway, see this thread if you do end up not being able to submit it when osu! complains the beatmap isn't yours. This won't change the fact that you can't connect to the beatmap submission server though.

Crap man, i still can't upload the beatmap. Would portforwarding osu or something help? This is actually really annoying.

Alright, ill give it a week or smth. If that doesnt work, im going to bump the hell out of this post.

Edit: Nvm it works now ^_^.
