[Archived] osu! Crashes Every time I Start it

Problem Details: After the update i cant open osu! anymore. Admin and Comp. Mode dont work, .NET Framework is at latest version

i think that the simplest way to fix this is use the osu fixer, if that doesnt work then try to reinstall osu.
if you do reinstall make sure to backup your maps.

Never suggest to reinstall osu! as it almost never works.

Normally anything that can be fixed by a reinstall can be fixed via something else.

I'm not sure where you got your osu files from. Please only use osu! files you get from official sources. You wont be able to run the game otherwise.

I used the old installer from https://osu.ppy.sh/p/download because the new dont works for me

What happens when you say the new one doesn't work for you? If the installer says "please check your internet connection" can you provide the update log file?

Replacing the osu!.exe with this fixed someone else's exact same problem. Can you try that?
