rankings going up for no reason?

im not sure if this is the right board for this but.

ive noticed my ranking, as well as everybody else on my friend's list has been going up. i haven't set any decent pp scores with and some of the people on my list haven't played in weeks.

whats causing this :0

I was just as confused as you were when I barely passed a map with a B and gained 1000+ ranks. But thanks to this thread I'm am well informed now. Thanks thread!

Gained +300, went from 7.3k to 7k for setting bad scores, guess there was a change

Definitely removed afk players or someting, my rank went up by ~10000 in around 12 hours without playing.

But not only did the inactive players get removed from ranking, some pp scores were also changed, made smaller and bigger

Lol, and I thought someone had hacked into my account...

Songs I played a few days ago started saying that they gave me massive amounts of PP, even though I didn't go up in rank at the time of playing them.

It's happening to me too, my rank has gone up like 100k over a few days, and apparently it's because now inactive players are being removed from the rankings.
