You asked me to mod Uneath and Arduous (I can't mod Precise cause of my modding level :( ) so let's do this:

Uneath

  1. Try finding different combo colours, most people play with background dim 100% and the colours blend in a lot then (An example is Ievan Polkka)
  2. I think a bit lower CS is more appropriate
  3. Got no kiai time
  4. 00:04:473 (2,3) - Reverse Selection for better flow?
  5. 00:06:089 (1,2) - Try making (2) blanket (1)
  6. 00:08:858 (3,4,5) - Same with (3) and (5)
  7. 00:14:281 (3,4,5) - I feel like this flows weird but I have no idea how to fix it ;(
  8. 00:22:358 (7,1) - Try making (1) blanket (7)
  9. 00:29:627 (7) - Move a bit more down. Looks more aesthetical and flows better

00:36:320 (2,3)

etc.

I think you should space these doubles the way you spaced 00:17:166 (1,2,3). Do this to make your map feel like the difficulty it claims to be and be more consistent overall.

Yay, more coldrain <3

Mostly a rhythm mod. A lot of stuff you have heads on notes that really aren't strong notes to hit. It'll be a bit repetitive, but it's somewhat important to look out for.

[General]
To start this on the correct measure. Your timing should begin at 00:04:243 - | The notes before this are part of the anacrusis. This is optional, but it does affect mods like Nightcore and some visual appearances elsewhere. Since you have volume/sound changes, all you have to do is add a red timing point at the above mentioned time, and then resnap any notes if necessary.

Since coldrain sings this song completely in English, and the Rock is a given for the genre. You can remove both rock english from the tags.

This naming is a bit too random. Involved really has nothing to do with Precise or Rigerous, Moderate is kind of standalone, and so on. I honestly can't see these difficulty names making it through ranking. You may want to simplify it a little. It reminds me of my naming from a map I made long ago which isn't rankable anymore lol. (Peaceful, Lonliness, Serenity, Solitude, Miko) | If I can't really tell what is what in the control+o list, then yikes..

(Peaceful, Lonliness, Serenity, Solitude, Miko) | If I can't really tell what is what in the control+o list, then yikes.. Sometimes I think that "Another" "Extra" "Extreme" "Expert" are almost undefined diff names, everyone has different explain about how hard it should be. 00:50:396 (1,1) - This is where the break is. The break here seems kind of pointless, so what you can probably do is remove the spinner, and replace it with a long slider that goes through the entire break. Then, replace the slider 1 at the end where it yells "FUCK" with a single hitcircle.
00:50:396 (1,1) - Like the Briefness difficulty, the break here seems pointless. So, what I would do is replace spinner 1 with a really long slider that goes through where the break is (taking away the break), and replace the slider 1 at the end with a single hitcircle (where it says FUCK)
The maps I modded were done very solid, just that there were a couple of small things that could use some fixing!

So, what I would do is replace spinner 1 with a really long slider that goes through where the break is (taking away the break), and replace the slider 1 at the end with a single hitcircle (where it says FUCK) The same as the Briefness, sorry.
The maps I modded were done very solid, just that there were a couple of small things that could use some fixing!

00:08:281 (2,4) - These have the same sound, so it wouldn't really make sense to have (2) be further from (3) and then stack (4) with it. Moved (4) to other place.

00:17:512 (3,4) - These two are spaced too far and I don't see a reason for it. I understand 00:17:281 (2,3) - , but 00:17:512 (3,4) - sound quite similar. Right, for normal distance now.

00:17:627 (4,5) - Might feel awkward with a sudden slowdown here, would space them a bit more so it fits with the SV. Changed when fixed the above mod.

00:20:743 (2) - Like mentioned in Precise, would probably fit better as a sliderend.Don't want to do this, sorry.

00:35:454 - 00:35:512 - 00:35:570 - Could be mapped, but might make things too hard if it were implemented as things are at the moment with spacing.
Could be done like this, though: I feels like a deaf because I never heard this until you mention it. (For me I need to use 50% speed to heard this.) Don't want to map in this diff but harder diffs may be acceptable.

    00:10:589 - It's strange that this isn't mapped, it's quite a strong beat. I'm sure some will mistake the sound for being 00:10:704 (1) - I don't know for me I can't really distinguish this sound clearly if I do not change the speed to 75%, and also a NC here. Maybe change to a slider instead.

    00:12:320 - Can't hear this, could still map 00:12:204 - as a slider that ends here so there isn't a random hole in the rhythm. Please let me use a slider here to cover the blank.

    00:12:550 (1,2,3,4) - This whole part feels off, listen to the drums, for example. Change (1) to a 1/1 slider and hope it can be better.

    Any part like this, I think you should make into a sliderend instead on this difficulty. On previous ones you usually just had a slider running over it, but for this one you can fit in another circle where the sliderend would've been like this. It's a harder difficulty after all.

  • Are you sure the difficulty settings for precise are ok? OD 8 is a bit high for an insane imo. I'm sure OD 7 would suffice, especially since the circle size is so small. Could you imagine someone playing it with HR? xD In fact, why I put OD 8.1 is exactly for I use CS7 and "precise". And I expect someone can play it with DT and HR.

    Combo colour 3 and 4 are very similar, so perhaps you could switch places with colours 3 and 4. I feel it's fine.

    Sound files and background resolution are fine.

  1. I think you double-timed this but it's too late now.
  2. There's no need for two timing points when both are the same.
  1. Switch to 1/1 snap divider. 1/4 is way too much for an Easy.
  2. 00:06:089 - Not allowing the downbeat to be clickable here creates tension, which is unneccesary for an Easy.
  3. 00:37:473 - ^
  4. 00:57:089 - Check make make sure this is rhythmic, not just the singer talking.
  5. Generally, you have some unattractive sliders, eg. 00:48:550 (3) - this one. Try to come up with some more appealing sliders, especially because this is an Easy and the rhythm is very simplified.
  1. Moderate seems fine.
  2. Uneath has 00:13:473 (1) - this stack.
  3. Arduous has 00:26:050 (7) - this stack, 00:29:858 (7) - this stack, 00:33:435 (6) - this stack, and that's what I could find throughout the rest of the map. Check your stacks.
Sorry it started getting too fast/perfect for me to mod. Hopefully this helps.
