I'd definitely vote for him if I were American.
He has some balls to talk about things everyone else wouldn't. He's not afraid to say what he thinks, besides it, sometimes he's getting emotional while speaking, that means he don't intend to look good, to be diplomatic, he's just himself. Even before elections he had money, he had power, he's not doing it to gather these elements even more. This guy might be proper person at proper place.
Oh hello there Hilary and Bernie, nice to see you.
Thanks to people like them and Obama we have migrants crisis right here (SPREADING AMERICAN DEMOCRACY). I'm sure you belive all this shit they say in western media about actual geopolitical situation, that's why your opinions is like it is.
I guess it's not a surprise, your country is ruled by a president who is against freedom of speech and journalism, so voting for another populist hatemonger who is accusing immigration for every single problems of his country is logical.
Also "having guts" to say bullshit isn't really needed for a president, that means nothing. If no one exept him is saying stuff like 'build a giant wall" "I'll resolve Israel-Palestinian problem in 2weeks", I think it's because there's another reason besides lack of gut isn't it ?
To be diplomatic is an important skill in our current world, you just can't say if you don't agree with me then I'll attack your country. You have to do some compromise. But I recognize that having priciples while interest is a problem. I explain myself for what I know. "Oh it's me France, yeah we are a country who seek to spread some democracy and freedom of speech around the world (principles). We don't like countries which doesn't respect human rights/women rights. But it's not a problem if you got some oil and $$$ (hi saudi arabia). Also we're selling weapons (interest) to some dictatorship governments (hi saudi arabia, hi Egypt) to spread some freedom and allow Saudi to drop some bombs on some yemeni civilians
". And being diplomatic with such countries is making me mad, just because they got $$$/oil no one critisize them, but hey we can still lecture some weaker country which don't have worldwide influence. Being the world third arms dealer is a bit paradoxical for a country which want democracy, humans rights for every country imo.
Moreover for the power topic, He has economic power, he has a bot of a social power: he is well known and is listened by a lot of people. It's natural for someone who has power (Economic, social or political) to seek another one: political power.
Long post, I might have been too far when I talked about France but whatever.
