I have to disagree here. Ppl have different ways to see who is better, and just survive in a hard map is one of these ways as much as do high scores by FC songs (the way you probably think)Blue Dragon wrote:

Talking for me, That's the best way to judge who is better. if the ppl can't even pass a beatmap only that guy FC'ed, then finish that cup and give the prize for him.

I would really like to see either a chat log or a properly constructed list of arguments of the staff members as to why they believe it was correct to ban Eddieee right before the finals. As to me the consequences of this decision outweigh the arguments I can come up with for banning (which is being disrespectful) by far...

eddieee pushed it to the extreme, that's why I said yes when I was talking with Lunah about banning him.
What I was pointing out was the fact that, let's be honest, this OWC hasn't quite been 'a success' in general. Banning someone for this offence simply makes the situation worse, and as we can all see, resulted in the finals pretty much not happening at all. All I'm saying is that I believe an exception is in place for the reason I stated before...the consequences outweigh the arguments by far.

Also, a huge thanks to those who managed this tournament and made it possible. You guys did a great job. Sure, there was a vocal minority criticizing the organizers, but I'd like to think a majority of players, like me, were excited to see the best from each country come together and face off against each other. I had to pack my stuff and bring it to Belgium so I could play along in the tournament (on the worst possible workspace). When this happens the least you can do as the staff of the tournament is to move the match to another date so all of us can play at home at our own desk, and with each team 4 players. Taiwan won. I'm ok with that, but the match was unfair and it could have been prevented, even though eddieee was banned. Our team doesn't want to rematch. Taiwan deserves to win and OWC #1 was a mess.

Missed the actual live match but watched the videos, intense and awesome playing to all of the teams. Congrats Taiwan! As well as to the Netherlands and Korea . Was a pretty fun & entertaining tourney all around despite some of the controversy, delays and shizz, and would be happy to see another one set up soon.
