I've been playing OSU! for 2 years now
and i am using tablet for 1.5 years now

but.....
I started my tablet while using my right hand
but im left handed in writing etc..

Should i change or stick with my right hand for my pen
Nathanael
Stick to the side you have got used to. If you want to challenge yourself, why not? ;)

Well..

the problem is i cant hold the pen stable with right like i do with left

Or is this another case of pratice makes work

If I were you, I would use my strong hand. I would never think to use my weak hand for a game like this that requires such precision, especially for a tablet since you have to be really steady

as a left handed person who use tablet in his right hand i think you could practice writing with your right hand,at least that's what i did and it kinda helped with stabilizing aim and making it less shaky or you could just change the hand you use for tablet but then you will have to practice a lot to get back to the shape you were before either way it won't hurt trying

Don't change = You train your right hand to control the pen to perfection. Score might suck for a little while more then. It's worth noting that you've been playing like this for 1.5 years already.
Change = You train your right hand to tap to 200BPM. Scores WILL suck for a while until then.

Either way, you'll go through some level of hardships before you become good. You decide for yourself because even sports specialists can't dictate how you can play. In short, there's no need to seek advice in this.

Personally, though, I value control over speed. While both can be trained, speed is the easier of the two, in my opinion.

One word: Practice. Doing anything that improves the control of your right hand will inadvertently help your control with the pen.

Also the above statement came out more wrong than it should have been.

I don't know of any left handed tablet players that hold pen with their right. Aim is more crucial as osu is combo based, it is also the hardest aspect to develop. Probably you should change.
