- that title
- the bg is almost the same size as the mp3 :<
- 00:39:803 (2,3,4) - I'd change all of these to k since now the k at the back feels kinda...random? Just a minor suggestion but if you have this portion the kat feels more justified lol
- 01:00:028 - Hmmmm since this note has a slightly lower pitch than the previous kat maybe change this to a don? (also to have consistency with 00:06:095 i guess)
- 01:10:815 - ^
Well I guess that's all lol. The map feels like the perfect entry map for taiko and is already very good in its current state o.o
- 00:37:107 (43,44,45,46) - ...this part feels a bit awkward while playing, you have big notes followed by small notes where the music isn't really accented at the parts that you have big notes ;w; maybe have all of them as big notes/small notes?
- 00:42:500 (50,51,52,53) - ^
- 00:52:612 - Maybe remove this note? The music here is the same as 00:51:264 and removing it would make the incoming 3/2 easier to read
- The first kiai is full 1/2+1/1+3/2 without any rests which are already really hard for a Futsuu map, let alone a Kantan ;w;i know you have a julie's diff for better spread but the jump from beginner to here is just too drastic ;w; also the high bpm does not help lol I'll just suggest some notes which can be deleted to give some rests for players ;w;

tbh the map can be toned down a LOT. The mapper did a pretty good job of following the song,but quite some parts are simply overkill for a Kantan ;w; The map itself is pretty cool but meh it'll fits more as a futsuuJust went through the five basic diffs and everything is harder than normal so it's fine I guess...? Still you might wanna have some more rests
- 00:04:410 - Delete this to give emphasis to the previous note which feels really prominent lol
- 00:11:657 - mfw overmapping in a futsuu. D:
- 00:12:500 - Change this to a k since the pitch is higher here? The whole intro is pretty much pitch-based so it won't hurt so follow the pitch here too
- 00:12:837 to 00:32:725 - This part actually feels really good. How to map like dumpling ;w;
- 00:35:927 - feels better at 00:36:095 I guess since it has a bouncy feel there. idk.
- 00:41:152 (103,104,105,106,107,108) - Why not have the 3/4 rhythm here? Seems pretty weird to stick to 1/2 here while you have 3/4 all over the map
- 00:45:196 (113,114,115,116,117,118,119,120,121) - the x xx rhythm feels really wonky :< why not just use x xxx x x xxx here too
- 01:32:725 - For a calm part, having your own rhythm here sounds pretty bad :< Experimented on a couple of ways this could be fixed but eh...deleting the note sounds best for me

- 00:08:792 (29,30,31) - is kdd but 01:02:725 (235,236,237) - is the opposite? ayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
- 01:03:062 - tbh is there any reason why this isn't a big note? The music here is as accented as the previous and the next note
- 01:49:579 - Have a kat here? Highhhhhhhhhhh pitch here and to emphasize the incoming bass

all is updated now~ + Futsuu should be less dense, idk about parts such as after the first kiai because the sounds there seem essential to map even for a basic diff (unless you can suggest something better of course).

actually, I think the Beginner fits the role of a Kantan from other taiko mapsets that have more basic rhythms for a song (example: upbeat anime OP/ED with a singer's voice that is easily mapped to), compared to this song out of an actual rhythm game that has much more of a complex melody and rhythm to it. think of the Kantan as a Kantan+, only in this day and age we're obviously not going to use those diff names here.Ntiger wrote:

I see what you think, but adding kiai at the start of the song somewhat implies that the start should be as intense as the part at 00:55:983 -, which shouldn't be the case (even if you say my diffs are identical at those parts, the lack of kiai is by design as a consistency with other diffs thing).Ntiger wrote:

about OD - changed to 6 for Oni, that was my bad, didn't notice that Inner Oni had OD bumped up to 7.
