A few questions for osu!standard players

A bit about me
Hi, I'm an osu!mania player, with Taiko as a secondary game mode. I got this game mainly because I knew some people who played VSRGs. I was slightly confused at first, because I thought !mania was the main game mode :lol: despite stuff like "Rhythm is just a click away" and circles everywhere
Anyway, I was curious about a few things:
1. Do you play any other game modes?
2. If yes, is osu!standard your main game mode and do you play converted or native maps?
3. Which mods do you normally use, if any?
4. Do you use a mouse or tablet?
5. Do you alternate fingers when clicking/tapping?
6. Do you like spinners?

2. as of now, yes. (there's a possibility that i'll become a full time taiko player)
3. mostly nomod and HR
4. tablet. (but mouse can everything)
5.no. i singletap with middle and do streams with middle and index
6.hell yes.

1: No. I've tried them all and the only one that remotely interests me is Taiko.

5: Singletap with middle finger, stream with both (obviously)

3. No Mod, HD, and the occasional DT and EZ depending on song and map

5. Single tap with middle, stream with middle and index
6. Depends, if it's one of those retarded end of map 1 second long spinners then no, otherwise I don't mind

1. Yes, Taiko, I'm pretty bad though
2. Yes, in Taiko I exclusively play native maps.
3. Mainly nomod, EZ and HD as sidekicks in both modes.
4. Mouse masterrace
5. Yes, always(Full alternating in standard and hand-alternating kddk in Taiko)
6. They're a gameplayelement and fine as such if used correctly by the mapper.

1. Planning to if I'm satisfied with my skills in STD (Mania or CTB would be a good secondary for me)

3. HD mostly (Some HRDT on 2.5* T.T )
4. Mouse (I think I'll improve faster with tablet tho)
5. Single tap but alternate on streams, doubles and triples (obviously)
6. As a mouse player, NO. But I guess spinners are really for tablets so yeah xD

Most mouse players won't love spinners unless their mouse have high DPI xD

1. Yes, I play taiko.
2. Standard is my main game mode. I usually play on native maps for taiko but sometimes with converted maps if I don't want to bother looking for taiko beatmaps
3. I mainly play without mods, but DT and HR are my fav mods.
4. I'm a mouse player.
5. I singletap with my index most of the time.
6. It depends on how they were placed and how many of them are in the map.

I feel that full alternating is a bit more difficult than otherwise (mostly in Taiko) but I do the same because I think it'll help me if I actually manage to be okay :)
I use an extremely weird dkdk keyboard layout, though :oops:

6. I don't like really long spinners because it's tiring

2. N/A
3. HD (always), HR, DT, NF
4. Mouse, with keyboard
5. I usually alternate, but sometimes on harder parts I single tap to regain balance
6. Very much so

Just curious though, why are you interested in our habits?

Originally an alternate tapper with horrendous accuracy, switched to single tap
6. Do you like spinners?
I'm neutral on this depending on how the spinner is placed in the map. Surprise/wrongly placed spinners are pure nonsense.

I spin 380-400 default and can sometimes maintain ~440-460 for a few seconds. Spinning is boring and irrelevant to most of the game.

1. If you count a few plays as "do play", yeah, but if not, not really
2. osu!Standard is my main game mode and I play native maps.
3. Usually I go with nomod but I'll casually slap HD and/or DT for fun

1. Rarely. If I ever did, it's either Mania or Taiko, I almost never play CTB.
2. Osu!standard is my main game mode.
3. I prefer no mods, but I still use mods if I feel like it. I never use FL.
4. Tablet.
5. It depends, I mostly alternate.
6. Yeah I guess.

1. Not really, only osu!standard
2. Yes, as said osu!standard
3. I am a hidden player. Next would be DT
4. Mouse with keyboard (+ Touchscreen too :lol: )
5. Only at streams

4. Do you use a mouse or tablet? Tablet.
5. Do you alternate fingers when clicking/tapping? Only in 1/4 streams.
6. Do you like spinners? I like using spinners while mapping (lazy mapper), but I hate spinning in gameplay.
