wkyik's Asterik looks more like an overall 5.5 star map, pretty enjoyable. Until a 100 star pattern spikes everything horribly up. Everytime I see one of these maps one might think it can't get worse concerning the PP patterns. Then a new one gets ranked and I legitimately get surprised by something even more stupid.
Since i'm not in the position to take action myself, I would like to bring these patterns up : 01:15:191 (1,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1) - . Depending on how the community thinks about this, QAT can take further action.

The intro and the first half of the KIAI in wkyik's diff are indeed really easy, but those (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) jumps aren't that hard to hit actually. Even with those jumps, 6.4* seems still like an overweighted value in my eyes from both mapping and playing perspective.
I don't think this is too problematic and should be up to the mapper.

Of course they're not hard to hit. They play to increase the star rating by being easy to read brain dead simple patterns that pay no attention to vocals or anything other than the goal of inflating star rating.
Problem being, most of the Asterisk difficutly tends to use 1.2x distance snap structure and patterning. It's effective and simple and plays very well.
Then you have the start of the kiai which poses similar structure but dips into 1.7x jumps near the end of each stanza. This, as well, is effective and simple and plays quite well. But it immediatly starts scaling these movements all over the place.
00:56:752 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - I will never, ever understand the obsession with oceania and having 1/2 double stack jumps like this. It plays like ass. It's easily one of the most uncomfortable jump-stop-jump-stop movements possible in this game, but I see it in every single stupid PP map from the East. Whenever people break on these maps, it's usually on these notes. It's not even the ridiculous jumps later on. 01:06:118 (2,3,4,5) - Same thing here, on the second refresh of the chorus. At least it's consistent, but this one is smaller for some reason?

Do note that shrinking 01:06:996 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - and 01:15:484 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - to a mere 2.0 to 2.5 distance snap (which is still jumpy!) drops the star rating to 5.6. That's right. A Full 0.8 stars..
There's pp mapping and then there's just plain seeing what you can get away with. It's even more disappointing that the rest of the map is quite good.

To be honest, wkyik's diff reminds me of some Azer's diff in which he placed extreme jumps at the very end of the set to raise the SR. I'm not flaming anyone, it's just that if you are going to map a 7 SR difficulty, you SHOULD, at least, make the whole difficulty feel like it's hella hard instead of doing such an overdone pattern.
Also, 00:21:338 (1) - you should split this into to objects, having 00:21:923 - in the same slider makes no sense whatsoever.

I'm sorry, but as other people have stated, why on earth is this allowed to be qualified? The other two mapsets already got DMCA'd, surely that's enough evidence that they clearly don't want their song in osu!. Like seriously. It's just stupid even trying, not forgetting that it's plain rude and blatantly illegal.

Artists are then, free to request a DMCA whenever they want and it will take down as soon as possible. Some songs have been taken down many times while others are still downloadable due to artists not requesting anything else.
Let me repeat you just in case: You can rank anything you want. Don't worry about copyright, that's not something you should worry about since you can always provide a mirror download.

how does that not make sense? its the climax of the chorus of the song. if you look at the spacing used in the rest of the kiai (which were fairly large) doesn't the jumps perfectly make sense? how is this random at all?
sure there isnt anything specific in the music, but why cant it be mapped to the general feel of the song?

In my opinion (and yes, this is my first ever post in these forums, that's just how much I love the song, and the map is really fun) the only real issue in this map is 01:06:996 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - These jumps right there almost feel like they have no rythm to them and why is the spacing getting even bigger?
Oh and also 01:17:460 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) could be remaade into a stream if there is really that big of a deal with these sliders, but I find it fine that way...

In fact, without 2 jumps ( 01:15:484 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - and 01:06:704 (6,7,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - ) , the map is 5.58*, ALMOST A FULL STAR LESS. If this map were 5.8 or even 5.9* with those 2 jumps replaced it'd be a lot less of a problem but as it is it's a diffspike that is WAY too large for the sole purpose of PP.
Then just say its about the reletive spacing of the whole map.
Cuz saying that part isnt suitable for large jumps doesnt make sense at all tbh.
