Sayonara e Sayonara!, dubbed as the μ's ultimate farewell song next to Bokutachi wa hitotsu no Hikari. Hoping to tell the world how great μ's is by building this map, even as a first timer in mapping world.
And hopefully this marks the grand end to the μ's era and hence a welcome to the new Aquors era.

GENERAL STUFF
Combo Colors : You should pick appropriate combo colors to match the background of the song
Sider shapes : I noticed many of your sliders are badly shaped . 00:08:999 (1) - , 00:14:538 (1) - and 00:19:153 (8) - are examples of badly shaped sliders. Actually these can be made simple with just 3 of those , uhh dots thingy you click when you make a slider. An example of an OK design with 3 clicks would be http://puu.sh/oDjJ8/7d31baafb4.jpg.

00:05:191 (4) - I would suggest removing this
Generally, your combos are a little messed up. No worries though , all you have to do is to take note of a few points.

- A NC should be added every time the song passes the section marked with a long white tick extending outwards .

Notice a NC at 00:01:615 (1) - , 00:03:461 (1) - and 00:05:307 (1) - ? Thats how it should be done

I think you generally tend to misuse streams. They should be used only when the music calls for it, and also sparingly on a HARD difficulty.
00:11:653 (3) - Add a note here to create a stream and see if it sounds good to you

00:25:615 (3) - You should generally not end sliders on a blue tick as it makes the gameplay seem weird . I understand what you are doing here thought, following the vocals, but if you REALLY want to keep this , I suggest adding an additional hitcircle here 00:26:076

Ok I noticed you kiai sections have almost the same SV as the rest of the song. I highly , highly recommend you to increase the SV of your kiai sections. They emphasize the chorus of the song and gives the player a sort of adrenaline rush when the increase in SV contrasts with the song
I also noticed you have many breaks in the song , http://puu.sh/oDkDV/3da89fbf72.jpg , taking this section as an example. You see many breaks in your objects which disrupt flow movement . Try to put stuff in those areas

Yeah I planned to do just that tonight after I put a good finishing touch to it. Ars Novaa really helped heaps in this map. :lol:

00:05:307 (1,2,3,4) - you can make perfect squares using the create polygon circles tool
00:12:230 (6) - you missed a clap here. try to have a constant hitsound beat through the louder parts of the song c:
00:49:384 (4,5,6) - finishes should be used when there are cymbal crashes or when playing a downbeat. you can keep the one on 6 but remove it from 4,5
00:52:153 (5,6,7) - ^ (not gonna list all of them you can probably look over them yourself)
00:54:230 (3,5) - careful of this overlap
01:20:768 (7,8) - if you line the slider points up with the approach circle of 7, you can form a perfect blanket. you should keep this rule in mind when doing any blanket
01:26:538 (1) - heres a good example to put a finish
02:09:922 (1,1,1) - dont really have to put the ncs here
02:34:845 (2,3) - its very hard to see the note under slider 2. try avoid overlaps like this
03:44:076 - need a note here to keep the flow going
04:05:307 (1,2) - i suggest making this a slider and having it reverse like this

04:29:768 (1) - you only really need 3 points to a curve. too many makes the slider look wonky
04:38:538 (7) - put a new combo here. don't let jumps run too long on 1 combo

Hi Pentori. About half an hour before you posted I've made a major overhaul on the map since you mentioned you're going to mod the map tomorrow. Hopefully your heaps of pointers up there were referring to my updated map :cry: And thanks much man really appreciate it :D

Sound - The hit sound effects are a bit repetitive. I rekon you should make the hit sounds in kiai mode different from the non-kiai mode for more variety

02:23:768 (1,2,3,4) – I think there should be another note at 2:24:345 due to the music

I have to disagree with this. Imo the hitsound effects are good to have, they emphasise certain parts of the music, but not to a point where it could be disruptive in the music. As in altering the originality of the music. ;)

General: I'm not so sure if you're placing notes randomly without using distancing snap or not, I tired a few distance snap 1.0-1.4 they don't match up at all, a few notes match up to 1.2 tho, I suggest you use grid snap and distance snap all notes on grid
00:01:615 (1,2,3,4,5) - doesn't seem like it's the same distances
00:14:538 (1) - blanket better
00:32:999 (6) - ^
00:33:922 (8) - stack under the tail of 00:32:076 (4) -
00:36:691 (8,9,10) - add a bit more of a distance, stronger music beat, emphasize it with a bit of more distance, nothing too big though, something like 1.5 or 1.6 distance
00:49:615 (5) - blanket better(last blanket I'm pointing out), I normally don't mod for blankets but I'm just pointing them out, mapset has a lot of blankets, think of blanketing them better or reduce the amount of blanketing you do
01:00:461 add single note here for vocal if you want too
01:01:384 (3) - doesn't fit too well, consider doing 1/2 slider and a single note or a 1/2 return slider
01:07:845 (4) - turn into single note if you do this do the one on the below this one too
01:08:076 spin should actually start here, but some mappers do like to add notes where the spin should start and start the spin afterwards, it's all on preference

I personally think hard players nowadays are able to do jumps like that. And hence the reason I put that sort of jumps (See Fycho's 3.5* map - Nichijou Decoration)
But I changed it according to your suggestion anyways no problemo.

Yeah thats what I thought first. And someone did tell me placing the break at that specific place will emphasise the feel when the chorus transitions to the guitar solo part, but I guess that will not do yeah. In term of rankability.

03:48:705 (4) - that last slider end could be tucked in a bit more, have both 03:47:552 (3,4) showing at the same time you'll see what i mean. Also, cool slider design! i like it a lot.

Oof, short mod. This map is pretty crisp as it is, good slider shapes and the flow was nice overall. Liked it a lot.
