Hi, hier der versprochene Mod für deine Howling. Ich würd dir vorher empfehlen deine map extern nochma zu speichern, da die änderungsvorschläge schon recht eingreifend sind. Dennoch sind es hauptsächlich empfehlungen meinerseits und eine umsetzung ist immer optional.


General

  1. AiMod – Keine Probleme
  2. Timing – Den Timiningpoint bei 06:890 kannst du dir eig. Sparen hast da eh einen.
  3. Song Setup – HP/OD 5 jagut passt HP könntest du noch auf 6 anheben es ist ein recht kurzer song.
  4. Difficulty's – Ja das dir da noch 2 fehlen sollte dir bekannt sein, mach im nachhinein noch ne Futsuu +(Kantan/Inner Oni) wobei sich eine Kantan wahrscheinlich eher anbieten würde

Oni


Pattern
  1. 00:14:480 (40,41,42,43,44) – Dieses Pattern steht im Kontrast zum Song. Das Pattern liegt auf den leisen Gitarrenschwingungen, und direkt dannach sind keine Noten im Drumpart. Es würde besser klingen diesen Part andersrum zu betonen.
  2. 00:25:323 (103,104,105,106,107) – Das 5xK Pattern hört sich nicht richtig an. Versuchs mit KKDKD das würde die Gitarre mehr betonen.
  3. 00:29:028 (130) – Diese Note sollte entweder entfernt werden oder auf Position 00:29:389 versetzt werden. Die Verschiebung klingt jedoch am besten und bietet einen guten Übergang von Gitarren zu Drumsupport.
  4. 00:30:745 (141) – Dieses K solltest du in ein D ändern. Passt perfekt zur Gitarre
  5. 00:32:914 (153) – In der darauffolgenden Sektion benutzt du 5xKKD. Das wirkt monoton, ich würd dir empfehlen das 3te und 5te KKD durch entweder DKK,DDK oder DDK,DDK zu ersetzen.
  6. 00:40:504 (194,195,196) – Ich finde das KKK DDD nicht unbedingt passt hier und würde es durch KKD DDD ersetzen

Finisher/Spinner/Slider
  1. 00:08:697 (10) – Die Note bietet sich einfach für einen Finisher an, man ein deutliche Betonung direkt am Song.
  2. 00:14:480 (40) – Vorschlag: Selbiges wie oben, dort bietet sich ein Finisher an, jedoch nur wenn die darauffolgende ¼ Note entfernt wird.
  3. 00:30:022 (138) – Perfekter Platz für einen Finisher
  4. 00:35:805 (174) – Auch hier bietet sich ein Finisher an

Structure
  1. 00:00:000 – 00:08:697 – Die Pausen in dieser Sektion sind mir unverständlich der selbst macht dort auch keine Pause von daher solltest du die Pausen mit ½ Noten füllen.
  2. 00:09:781 – 00:12:673 – Siehe oben
  3. 00:19:359 – Auch hier würde ich keine Pause einbauen, die beiden davor liegenden Pausen reichen da völlig aus. Platziere hier eine ½ Note wie es dir beliebt.
  4. 00:24:781 – Siehe Oben
  5. 00:26:588 – Siehe Oben
  6. 00:37:612 (183,184,185,186) – Wiederholtes Problem, die Pause dort ist deutlich zu groß, der Song spielt dort nicht langsamer, setze in die 3/1 Pause jeweils ganze KatNoten (Drumsupport) und dahinter ½ Noten (nicht unbedingt Kat)

Total:Hauptfehler sind die zuvielen Pausen. Diese sind nicht nötig und teils auch nicht angebracht. Potential für Finisher wurde nicht ausgeschöpft. Im Grunde genommen aber wenige Fehler die sich nur recht häufig wiederholen, weshalb ich hier auch Schluss mache. Versuch das gesagte einfach für den Rest des Songs anzuwenden und das sollte dir dann eig. Auch bei der Muzu helfen. Ansonsten gibt’s immernoch den Ingame IRC

-I think that you should put audio of the beat sound little bit down , so we can hear an actual song. Song was (for me) hard to hear because of the hit sounds.

General

Just a little hint for the background images for standard: Try and find some with 1366x768 resolution for best quality. Also the Screencap image with Misaki is a bit blurry/low quality and I would replace it.

As with all mods, take this with a grain of salt. This is mainly a personal opinion but at least consider each point and think about how it could improve your map or how you can build upon those ideas and suggestions.
You tend to use breaks a little bit too frequently or too long, some of them play a little awkward and don't seem to fit perfectly. Keep playtesting your maps to get a feeling for which breaks should be moved, removed or shortened/changed.
Futsuu

That offbeat mapping style is a little peculiar to be honest but if that's what you prefer, go ahead.
00:18:104 (30,31,32,33,34,35,36,37,38,39,40) - This 1/2 pattern might be a little too long for a Futsuu
00:20:996 (43,44,45,46,47) - suggestion: 00:28:406 (66,67) - This break feels a little bit awkward and out of place I would suggest moving 00:29:128 (67,68) up 1 full tick to 00:28:767 and switching the d and the k
00:40:875 (99) - not a big fan of sliders in Taiko, especially such short ones. Just using 2 regular notes instead would work just as well.
00:47:381 (119,120) - This feels a little bit too epmty imo

Muzukashii

Some triplet playements feel a little bit random ^^
00:54:610 (245,246) - I would put the finisher on the first note, not the middle one
00:55:243 (248,249) - Why the double here? It's a bit awkward to play. With the different Finishers from ^ this might be okay though
01:25:333 (416) - Still not a fan, but meh. If you want it like that it's fine ^^
01:19:189 (379,380,381) - In this entire section it might be best to keep the triplets and patterns more consistent. It feels a bit random/unstructured right now. Mabye something like this:

Would you consider naming this one Oni? In a mixed mapset with creative names for ths standard difficulties it might be better to stick to the conventional Taiko map names.
The timing points for the Kiai time are both not on beat, move both of them back by 10ms for them to be on beat (00:54:610 and 01:17:562)
Again it feels like some of the breaks and triplets were chosen somewhat randomly. It might be good to give the map a little bit more structure/consistency for it to flow a bit better.


I hope I didn't butcher your style too much with this mod ^^ It's always fun to have an in depth look at maps from different mappers who each have their very own style.

more or less know what you wanted to do but you should pay more attention about aesthetics, this map looks like from 2009 xD

00:22:984 (6,7) - too close each other
01:02:020 (9) - delete and add slider which ends 01:02:381 -
01:03:827 (3) - (weird shapes generally are bad) should ends at 01:04:731 - and add circles 01:04:912 - 01:05:092 -
A lot of inconsistency in the distance between circles
00:30:755 (3,4,5) - strange gameplay because 00:30:574 (2,3) - has a greater spacing from the 00:31:297 (4,5) -
00:51:538 (9,10) - spacing ^
00:36:177 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - This pattern is confusing, spacing should be larger. You should avoid situations like this https://gyazo.com/c2d5aef0b167e6440f093e0a4cf0881b when circles are "inside" slider.

Some tips:
Pay more attention when combo starts and ends, sometimes it's really confusing.
Ctrl+A see how much space is undeveloped, everything is focused in the center. https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/5168053
Maybe CS 4-5 and incrase slider velocity, it's insane after all..

Pay more attention when combo starts and ends, sometimes it's really confusing.

  2. Disable countdown for all your diffs
  3. Preview point best around 00:53:887 (which is also kiai start)
  4. Offset comes a bit late. Try offset 6890

I don't really know if you intended to map this as a normal or hard. I would guess normal, so...
  1. If you intended to map this as normal, you need to use constant DS throughout. That is also a must (if not, ignore this)
  2. It would also be better if you use level 4 grid
  3. Circle size could (should) be more than 3 I'm guessing you're trying to make it easier to fit a normal?
  4. 00:06:900 (1) - not very good flow, try place it around (376,272)
  5. 00:07:622 (3,4) - curve like the sliders
  6. 00:12:321 (8,9,10,11,12,13) - doesn't look real nice, try use same spacing for them
