Whenever mapping an insane diff, is it okay if parts of the map vary very significantly in their relative difficulty due to the song speeding up, slowing down, complicating or simplifying it's melodies?

If not, how can I adjust slower portions of the map to be up to par with the more faster (and more difficult, usually) parts and vise-versa so there isn't such a huge difference?

I'd say it is, but make sure not to overdo it, unless the song really calls for it
