Replay: http://puu.sh/ow4Sv/7593874142.osrGeneral Thoughts: Although I liked a lot of the songs in this compilation, I found a lot of the map boring to play through. With long maps like these, you definitely need something more to keep me interested:
- This map really needs a wider variety of hitsounds.
- Something else you can do is vary the difficulty throughout the map instead of gradually increasing the difficulty. In this case, you end up with a lot of easy stuff in the beginning, and a lot of slightly harder stuff in the end, but it all feels the same because the changes are so gradual. Keep in mind that these are just my opinions (aong with the rest of the mod), so take this with a grain of salt, but I'm sure I'm not the only one with these opinions. There are a lot of interesting articles and videos explaining the concept.
- Also, most of the sliders/shapes in this map can be improved. I listed some of the ones that I noticed below, but it's nowhere near a complete list.
- Also, a note about randomly placing things. For a short map, it's fine, but when you have randomly placed jumps and sliders throughout multiple songs, it gets boring really fast. Having good shapes will make the map a lot more fun to play.
Okay, on to the details!
00:43:930 (1,2) - The first slider looks a bit random, like it doesn't belong. You can definitely arrange these two sliders in a better looking way.
01:13:329 - You probably can't do much about this, but the harmony that starts in the mp3 sounds off here. Not a really big deal.
02:10:574 (1) - Almost none of the curvy "V" shaped sliders ("フ" shaped) look good in the map.
02:13:236 (2,3,4) - This shape is a bit strange.
02:14:203 (5) - Can probably blanket with something.
02:17:107 (3,4,5) - Spacing between end of slider 3 and circles 4 and 5 are slightly off.
02:18:316 (1,2,3) - Similar point about the "フ" shaped slider above. It just seems randomly placed just for the sake of having a different slider. If you change the placement/shape of the next two sliders, you can probably make slider 1 fit in better.
02:24:849 (3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4) - The circle shape is a bit boring. Especially for the long slider 02:26:058 (1).
02:27:994 (1,2) - Fix blanket.
02:29:929 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - The shape of slider 1 doesn't really fit well with the shape of the other circles.
02:43:315 (1,2,3) - You can definitely up the difficulty here to make things more interesting. These sliders don't feel intense enough for the music that's playing right now.
03:22:286 (1,2,3,4) - I would move circles 2, 3, and 4 above the slider and blanket.
03:43:517 (5,6,7) - Overlap is a bit messy.
03:46:517 (1) - Reconsider this shape.
04:18:630 (7,1) - Slightly overmapped. I would just remove circle 1 and extend slider 7 one more tick.
04:19:085 (1,2) - Check NCs here.
04:28:395 (2,3,4) - I think the following shape looks better and is easier to read:
04:30:859 (5,6) - Not sure what circle 6 is supposed to be rhythmically. Hitsounding would probably fix this though.
04:40:181 (1,2) - Reconsider this overlap.
04:41:038 (3,4,5) - ^
04:54:752 (1,2) - The shape of 1 is fine, but the overlap with 2 doesn't look as good.
05:17:954 (3) - Reconsider this shape.
06:15:607 (1,3) - These two shapes don't work well together.

07:37:101 (1,2,3) - This is a lot better than the other slider/circle arrangements that you have in your map.
07:43:664 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - Align 3 and 5 vertically, and align 2, 4, and 6 vertically. Maybe put 7 under 5.
07:45:164 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - Circle 6 feels like it should be near circles 2 and 4. I would place circle 6 somewhere near circles 2 and 4, and I would move circle 7 to around the same direction as 5.
07:56:040 (1) - Personally, I think this shape is a bit boring.
08:01:334 (4,1) - Fix blanket.
08:03:099 (1,2) - ^
08:24:275 (1,2,1,2) - I would use 2 reverse sliders instead. The hitsounds on the end of both slider 1s don't match anything in the music.
08:43:666 (1,3) - Make these 2 parallel.
08:44:523 (6,8) - ^
08:44:180 (4,6) - Reconsider overlap.
08:44:352 (5) - NC would make this look a bit nicer. Especially since the sliders 5-8 are in a different "shape" than sliders 1-4.
08:45:037 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1) - Recheck NCs in this section. I would personally move the NC from 08:45:723 (1) and put it on 08:45:552 (5) instead.
08:45:552 (5,6,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - I personally don't like how curved zigzags like these look.
09:13:837 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - You can only have random jumps so many times before they start to get monotonous.
09:17:094 (4) - Make this parallel with the rest. You probably just want to copy/paste one of the sliders multiple times and flip them.
09:17:266 (5,6,7,8) - Make 6 parallel with 8. Also NC on 5.
09:47:014 (1,2) - It would look better if these two were blanketed or symmetric (see image on next comment).
09:48:347 (1,2) - Add symmetry. Actually, since you don't really use symmetry, having some would be a nice contrast.
09:49:680 (1,2) - Blanket or symmetry.
10:07:914 (1,2,3) - Making these somewhat symmetric will make it look better.

11:45:356 (5,6) - I think it feels a bit better if you Ctrl+G these.
11:59:672 - Caramel Heaven has a disproportionately large amount of time mapped compared to the other songs in this compilation - almost twice as long as anything else. Intentional or not, it makes this map feel less like a compilation: "Wait, what? I thought I was playing a compilation map. Why did it suddenly turn into the end of a Caramel Heaven map?" I would end the map at 12:34:311 (1) to prevent this.
12:53:950 (1) - If you ignored the previous comment, there are better slider shapes you can use. Also, you probably don't want slider ticks playing on this.
