00:50:823 (2,3,4) - Rhythm burst, should be kept consistent with other sections.
I really wonder the necessity of the existence of this difficulty because the rhythm is quite plain.
You're contradicting yourself here mate. If song sections are different why should I just map them the sameway?If you say "but this is begginer diff the RHYTHM should be consistent inside the diff, well just gotta tell you that going from 2/1 to 1/1 here makes little to no difference being used only on 00:50:823 (2,3,4) - /01:02:823 (2,3,4) - twice in the entire kiai. Also if you consider how Easy was mapped with full 1/1, it's a good way to make the spread and fully asnwer your question about the "necessity" of this diff. Reminder that we have a marathon of 0,8* ranked , no one asked if that was needed and yet there it is ranked.
00:55:323 (1) - It is showing "flagrant" laziness to copy and paste in such an easy difficulty.
Ok, you called it a lazy map, let's take a look at the map;
It presents a diff focused on people who never played osu! but at the same time tries to represent the song. I can star saying that for that purpose I focused on a 2/1 rhythm choice focused on slider use with fewer circles. The 2/1 sliders such as this 00:06:573 (1,2) - used this shape;
And they represent the song vocal.
The fast paced vocal however couldn't be mapped with 2/1 sliders, otherwise they would be off rhythm, so I made a simplification by using a slider with longer duration 00:10:323 (4) - , but harder to follow since it has a more curved design;
Using a circle to connect with next repetition of the intro was really interesting since no vocals landed on that main rhythm beat; 00:12:573 (5) - and I could keep the gap 2/1 for the next slider 00:13:323 (1) - which just occur to repeat the same idea of the vocal following.
The next repetition 00:13:323 (1,2,3) - is slightly different compared to the previous one; 00:06:573 (1,2,3,4) - however as diff aimed to new players I had to repeat the ideas as much as possible, so I took the idea of the longer slider for the same section, but instead I did a repeat; 00:16:323 (3) - that follows the ukulele main pitch at 00:17:073 - . The transition works with the same idea; 00:18:573 (4,1) - circle+slider but as you can see, the flow connection instead of stacking with the previous tail it's upwards, because the song here 00:19:323 (1) - will literally start getting more intense. The vocals here allowed continuous 2/1 rhythm 00:19:323 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3) - so I repeat the curves, however this section 00:25:323 (1,2,3) - sounded different compared to the previous one 00:19:323 (1,2,3,4) - mainly because of melody chord change. So I positioned sliders in a the slightly different way for vocal increases emphasis by using a diagonal 45º rotation in 00:25:323 (1) - which already constrast with the odds in horizontal 00:19:323 (1,3) - and evens on vertical 00:20:823 (2,4) - and using direct symmetry here 00:26:823 (2,3) - . The transition here 00:29:823 (4,1) - speaks for itself, new instrumental rhythm 00:29:823 (4) - called for a different slider
, also for the new gap a new flow idea (which you didn't question, but just in case another person questions it, since the gap is longer; 3/1 allows that movement). I don't want to repeat myself but new song change 00:31:323 (1) - different idea used, similar song section, same idea used 00:41:823 (1) - , etc... Anyway the idea of the pattern in the chorus is purelly do make it stand more compared to the verse and intro and for that, simple straight slider pattern 00:43:323 (1,2,3) - ;
and I don't need to say that those same sounds repeat here 00:55:323 (1,2,3) - .
Now that I gave you explanation of almost all the details of this 1,03* beginner diff ,I finish saying that analysing copy paste "purelly" for being used in similar song sections is result of lazy analysis not considering the overall execution of the difficulty. The mappers I look after did that and I can really understand their reasoning. People nowadays may not like it, but it was done for a pretty damn good reason. I'd also like you to refrain from calling other people "lazy" since I could say a lot of worse things about your BN activity and yet you don't see me public flaming people who only help others when the favor is mutual
00:52:323 (4) - It should be a slider instead for the vocal is long.This makes a lot of sense considering not only the longer vocals, but as well keeping it consistent with the consecutive copy paste 01:02:823 (2,3,4) - , that, for some crazy reason, seems to have the slider that you speak of , FIXED!
