00:01:984 - I'd set an uninherited timing point here with a signature change to 6/4 to match up the measure lines. Alongside that...
00:04:631 - I'd set another uninherited timing point here with a signature change back to 4/4.

Futsuu
00:00:881 (2,5) - Change to don since it runs on similar riffs as the notes immediately before it.
00:05:955 (13,14) - Ctrl-G since the hand clap in the song falls on 00:05:955. Also, it keeps with the momentum of the don-kat that comes before it.
00:13:014 (32) - Change to kat since there's also a hand clap heard at this point.

Muzukashii
01:06:837 (274) - Delete this kat, then copy the sequence on 01:06:396 (271,272,273)...
01:07:058 (275,276) - ...delete this, and paste the sequence you copied. All of this should correspond with the 4-note riffs that play on those sections.

00:02:866 (17,18) - Ctrl-G to make things symmetrical with the don-kat-don-kat that comes before it.

I know it's not really that much, but the vast majority of the charting was fairly spot on for the most part.

Yeah, the song does have a consistent beat, but the measure lines in Taiko actually stop lining up properly with the song (by half a measure, to be specific) after the section I mentioned. These uninherited timings are just there to make the measure lines align with how part of the intro adds 2 beats to one measure.

  1. 00:06:175 (10) - remove, half notes shouldnt be used in kantan
  2. 00:17:425 (26) - maybe make this a k, and
  3. 00:18:308 (27,28) - crtl + g, to fit the pitch better, while also complimenting the dkd patterns following it, and since you also use it at 00:26:690 (40,41)
  4. 00:53:602 (81) - maybe make a k for the drop in pitch
  5. 01:05:293 (98) - k, but only if you take the first suggestion for consistency

[ Futsuu]
  1. 00:01:984 (4,5,6) - i think this should really be kdk or kdd, this just doesnt fit the pitch
  2. 00:03:749 (7,8,9) - starting from this point on, theres just way too many half notes, especially with the patterns used. i think if you say "average hard for newbie" then youre clearly aware that its much denser than a futsuu should be, and the disclaimer doesnt really excuse the gap between kantan and futsuu.
  3. giving a "challenge" to a newbie is great at all, but unless the newbie wants that challenge theyre probably not going to have much fun, and if they wanted that challenge they could just try a sort of easy muzukashii, not a futsuu that should be an actual futsuu.
  4. half notes and half note patterns are things you start to get used to in muzukashii, and even then, when i was a newbie player myself, i really couldnt handle them quite yet, even in short patterns. please be more mindful of this, because there are certainly players who are and were also like this at some point, and it just doesnt seem fair.
  5. 00:05:955 (13,14,15,16) - nerf this, i especially dont think this should be a 4 note pattern in futsuu, and following these, you really shouldnt use the half note patterns in succession so much in a futsuu
  6. 00:08:161 (21,22,23,24,25) - i feel like this should be inverted to be k d k d k instead, fits the pitch much better...
  7. following from that point there are a LOT of half note patterns, and while theyre fine by themselves, theres just... a lot of them in succession for futsuu. its a nice map but it feels much more like a (light) muzukashii and doesnt feel appropriate
  8. 00:47:205 (129,130,131,132) - Yikes
  9. ok yeah im sorry thats basically the entire rest of this map. half notes are supposed to be used sparingly in futsuu, this either needs a serious nerf or a remap, because i really do not feel that it is acceptable.

  2. im starting to see the same issues i saw in futsu in terms of difficulty and difficulty spread...
  3. Please cool it with the triplets. those, like half notes in futsuu, are supposed to be using sparingly in muzukashii. they are all over the place.

  7. see, the issue here is this could honestly just be your oni difficulty. like, the map in itself is perfectly fine, its just, like your futsuu, is not muzukashii. it is pretty much an oni.

  1. really, the only issues i see with your map are the difficulty spread. honestly, if you just made your futsuu your muzukashii, your muzukashii your oni, and your oni an inner oni, and filled the gap in with a new futsuu, you would have a pretty great mapset. i really liked your maps, i just feel they arent appropriately named, and you could easily fix all of these issues by just tweaking them slightly and renaming them. so really, i dont think you have a big problem on your hands, its pretty easy to fix and i strongly suggest you do this for a better spread and less cruelty towards newbies lol.
  2. for the previous reasons i didnt really mod the oni because it really feels like an inner oni, and i felt i wouldve just ended up repeating myself over and over again.
