First attempt at making a beatmap please tell me what you think would like some feedback on what I need to improve :)


Difficulties:
-Easy (Done)
-Normal (Work in Progress)
-Hard (Complete but like normal still need to change it up)


Shortend mp3 and resized all the bgs down. Still need to remake the storyboard but I'll do that last. Changed Normal to easy and working on another difficulty. Still need to fix the hitsounds so please ignore that for now :).

Song is from the To Aru Majutsu no Index II OP Single - No buts!

You forgot to resnap the notes ><
Nicely made for a first attempt ;)
There are some anti unexpected anti-jumps/jumps on [Normal] (make sure you're using distance snapping.
And when making jumps, make sure it's predictable/readable. Make a new combo preferably)

Btw, Loved the first SB BG :3

seems not bad for first map :D

plz fix some issues before I mod:

you are not allowed to use more than 3 slider speeds (check your timing setting)

and plz check AImod and fix some obvious spacing problem like 01:23:668 (1,2,3,4,5) in Hard

for the diff Hard, you need more notes and more complex rhythm to make it like a Hard (it has only 2.76 star), and the 0.5x sliders are too slow...I recommand you using a higher slider velocity (you have the same velocity 1.4 in both Normal and Hard)

I think the rhythm you have in hard is not bad :> do something for the arrangement

PM me if you fix them and I'll mod it. or you can get mod from other modder at first.

Ok thanks for the tips. Will fix the timings on normal and revamp my hard difficulty.

I'm not sure about this, but I think you need capital letter in source.
You gotta cut the mp3 file
Ok.. Spacing problems >_< Just in the begining of the map I could see you made a little mess with distance snap tool. I mean, like this image you can find in mapping faq (http://osu.ppy.sh/p/faq#). This I can say is the key for spacing. Of couse you can make jumps and antijumps in places they fit, but the spacing makes it easier to read the map, so I guess you'll have to have a look at all your map and solve this issue. Ignoring spacing, a few things here.

Hard
00:00:842 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) - just an example of the spacing thing
01:25:298 (x) - add a note here
01:30:026 (9) - new combo
02:32:798 (9) - extend it to the red tick
02:33:287 (x) - in case you followed the previous suggestion, add a note here.

Normal diff is ok (besides the spacing) ><

When you fix this, please call me for a recheck. ^~^

I would love to say all the spacing errors but they are way too much....

Just make sure you use distance snap and occasionally AIMod.

Some obvious ones are:

00:02:472 (1,2,3,4)

00:18:450 (2,3,4,5,6)
00:24:320 (1,2,3,4,5)
00:40:950 (1,2,3,4)

00:59:374 (2,3,4)
01:04:103 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10)

And it gets worse as you go on...

DON'T USE THE 1.5 BPM MULTIPLIER THERE.....

The pictures for the storyboard aren't allowed to be bigger than 800x600 ( if I recall correctly, so please resize them + full upload)
The main BG needs to be resized to 1024x768
The MP3 is 320 kbit/s , max allowed is 192kbit/s, re-encode it pls. Oh, and it's too long, too. Since the map is about 3 mins in length, make it end about that time.

The map
Well, I guess it's not bad, but it's kinda boring. Make sure you keep the spacing of all objects withn a combo about the same. It's kinda messed up right now.
Try to arrange the circles to some kind of pattern, a triangle or square for example.
Use more hitsounds: A clap for every 2 white lines, sounds already much better.

Have this star for the effort.

3 major issues:

Decrease AR and OD, it's the easiest diff, right?
But even after that, it still looks kinda hard for and easy diff with those triplets and different slider speeds. They are not bad, just hard.
00:48:450 (3,4,5) - you can notice spacing problem here yourself.
02:45:842 (10) - 1 grid up.

00:36? Still working on this, huh..
Maybe use soft sound set at intro? You can use custom hitsound normal-hitnormal when needed to keep the rhythm through.

00:30:189 (7) - 1 tick longer?

OD is too harsh, no? Lots of 100s, first time had 88% accuracy %)
