I was really curious on how to put osu onto a flash drive and take it to school.

My first period class is really boring so I just want something to do while Im bored listening to World History Lectures.

Thnx for help!

School is for learning, not dumb circle clicking. Don't be a dumbass, study at school, click circles on your free time if you really have to.

NoOoOooOooOo

1st period is the most boringgggg... I already have a 4.6 :<

We dont even learn anything
Aurani
If he's going to be retarded and skip on learning something new and advancing his knowledge each day regardless of subject, let him. Let's see how his circle clicking game serves him when he's 40 and doesn't know what planet he lives on. :V

Damn theres a lot of salt in this thread!

I'm doing this because I have nothing to do. This class is some bullshit class where the teacher doesn't teach anything. I have a 4.6 GPA RN which can probably get me into any single school I want to go to.

In other words, if you don't have an answer to my question then please don't respond with your useless hateful words. I have no use for people who can't answer questions without butting into other peoples lives. All I want is an answer to my question, not a rant about my future.

You got your answer:

In other words, go to program files in your computer, find the osu! folder and copy it into flash drive.

Granted, school is a place for learning. Whether you learn something or not, class time isn't the best time to play any game. I won't stop you though.

Also, yeah...

Thanks you for the nice and kind reply!

I'll try copying it to a flash drive and using it.

Very helpful unlike some other people in this thread *Cough* Cough*

You dont deserve an animetar

You don't need to come every time to your 1st period if it's boring. Skipping class once or twice is fine

You can't skip school

I'll get a detention lol unless I have a excuse note
Railey2
copy paste it.
You can usually find osu under C://user/appdata/local/osu!
the appdata folder is usually invisible (because theres important stuff in there and windows wants to prevent people from accidentally deleting important stuff), so you'll have to toggle that first.

copy everything on your flashdrive. You start osu by clicking on osu!.exe, which should be there too.

Some classes are boring and useless, so I can understand that you want to bridge that time somehow. However, I wouldn't recommend playing osu to do so, as it can distract others. Just read a book on something that interests you, that's what I did when classes went to shit.
deadbeat
i'm going to say this right here and right now. if you're going to play games and not pay attention in class, then just stay at home and don't bother going going to school. i'm serious here. even boring classes can be important. so stop playing games in class and pay more attention
abraker
If your class is boring, why not catch up to homework from other classes so that you have more time for osu! when you get home instead of distracting everybody with keyboard mashing during class?
Mahogany
While it's good for you that you're doing fine and don't think you need the class, but you're going to be distracting your classmates and that's a serious asshole move to do

Fine, if you want to let yourself lose out on something, it's your life, but you've no right to ruin others' experiences and make their lives and learning more difficult
Lacrimae_old
smh if you're just gonna click circles in class why bother coming to school??

Sometimes I feels as if the only way I can escape reality is by playing games but I will try and pay attention in class don't worry.
Bullet
I played OSU when I was in high school. I did the flash drive thing, and it worked. I think I might have been distracting other students with my nonsense clicking. . .

1.Click on osu!
2. Open containing folder.
It's faster.

The computers in my school's library could not run osu at 120 fps.

Idk how but some computers in our class have I7 processors and nvdia graphics cards. They have the stickers on them so it's legit

Because distracting your classmates is a seriously dickish thing to do
Aurani
Considering the fact that he plays Osu, I doubt he'd be able to distract anyone without getting punched in the face.
Kitsunex
>_> if he says he has a GPA of 4.6, I'm pretty sure he is well off not paying attention in his "boring" class. If the teacher isn't teaching anything, he might as well do something else. People like me who've already finished work at home the night before don't really have anything to do in class and in that moment, there's really nothing better to do than to play a few games while waiting for time to pass.

If he is distracting his classmates, they'd tell him to stop after a while (although I am wondering how you would get past the teacher... if he's making enough noise to piss off his buddies, the teacher can hear that too)

Or they might not, and you're guaranteed to be distracting in the first place, so there's no reason to even > try < this.

The only safe way to...uh...not spend time learning in this class would be silently. I'd save other homework to do in that class, for example.

just play another game that wont distract others like touhou or some shit
Futon
If copypasta doesn't work, you can just download osu directly into your flash drive by manually choosing the folder during installation.

But damn I didn't know the community was this serious about school LOL.

Your future depends on how you do in school so not taking it seriously would be shooting yourself in the leg. Look at how many people here care about you.

When your future is already secured then there us no reason to worry. As for people getting distracted, when no one is paying attention in the first place and everyone is sleeping then there is no problem. The teacher hasn't even taught us anything yet so It's a really boring class. All we get I'd worksheets that take 5 min so Ibdont see the problem but appreciate the concerns .

School is serious business and this sort of attitude is why I hate people. Education is the only thing that sets us apart from beasts and people are willing to neglect it, or ruin it for others.

OmGkEk wrote:

You'd still be contributing to the problem. You have no way to make an absolute judge whether nobody is paying attention, and you're further discouraging it.

Play during lunch or something if you have to.

You must live a very hateful life

Actually our actions sets us apart from beasts, not education.

I'm only intentionally hateful towards inconsiderate jerks who deserve it

I'd be a lot happier if my classmates actually shut up and let me learn, and OP has no right to disturb his other classmates.

My friend has played osu during class. Now, he lost all his computer privileges and the principal took away his phone and tablet and won't give it back until the end of the year. Don't let him be you.

So your friend played so much that his score badly drops or just that he was playing game (osu!) in his class?
Kitsunex
Mahogany I think that's just a situational thing, you were just unlucky enough to be placed in classes that have disturbances. At my school, at least half the people in my classes play games while class is going on but we rock all As and we actively participate in class. Your hate against idiots who purposely don't want to learn and screw around in class is warranted but if OP wants to pass time and he says no one else enjoys that class either and no one has anything better to do, I'm pretty sure OP can experiment. Btw OP, it's been a while since you've figured out how to play osu! at school, have you actually done anything?
Mahogany
He doesn't have a right to say whether nobody else is enjoying the class, and just because there's already a problem doesn't mean contributing to it is okay
