Easy
To begin with, I found that these sliders may be a little too slow (especially in contrast with the normal difficulty). I'd recommend speeding them up to perhaps 0.8 at least. (Keep in mind that you'll have to reposition basically all of your notes again after this change has been made, since the sliders will become longer, and as such, the spacing will change drastically)

If you decide to make the previous suggestion, I would also recommend using a less square-ish positioning for your circles, while you're repositioning everything anyway. (distance snap will help it look relatively spaced and tidy even though you're not using square formations)

If you don't decide to speed them up (which I wouldn't blame you for, since it can be quite time consuming to redo everything) or if you're insisting on using square patterns in many areas, I would recommend using the 15° pattern. You can find the tutorial here: https://osu.ppy.sh/wiki/15_degree_Patterns/Tutorial

According to the AImod, your map is actually supposed be normal difficulty. In order for it to be an easy difficulty, you'll need to lower the difficulty stars to 1.5 or lower.

In order to lower your difficulty stars, you'll need to either replace some notes (at least 3) with a slider, or simply remove some of them (which is what I'm recommending). Basically make your map easier. Considering the fact that you have very long sliders throughout the song, you could remove some of your circles.
I'll give some examples:
00:35:361 (4)
00:37:416 (2)
00:45:224 (2)
and so on. Basically any note that doesn't have much of an impact.

Now for some smaller details:
00:57:142 (1) - move this circle to the large white tick
01:26:320 (5) - make this circle a part of the following slider instead
01:39:060 (4) - if you look at the previous slider, you'll see that it overlaps this circle. This would be fine in any difficulty except easy, because in easy you're supposed to be able to see notes from miles away, in other terms.
01:43:169 (3) - this slider beginning may be hard to hear, since it's not very obvious.
and the list goes on.

Most of the problems sort of repeat themselves. If you get a hang of everything I've mentioned and manage to fix and identify similar problems throughout the map, you'll have improved a lot. ;) (not that I know how good you were from the beginning, but from what I've seen)

Remember that these are only suggestions, you choose whether you want to change things or not, though I would definitely recommend doing so.

I will wait for another opinion here since it's quite a lot of work.

Why the less square-ish positioning? :o

Gotta think about this a bit and try it, didn't decide yet if doing it or not

According to the AImod, your map is actually supposed be normal difficulty. In order for it to be an easy difficulty, you'll need to lower the difficulty stars to 1.5 or lower.

Done, Map is now at 1.48 Stars, though i didn't remove all of them, but quite some

Now for some smaller details:
00:57:142 (1) - move this circle to the large white tick

To me it looked like its already been snapped ti it, but resnapped it anyways, just to be safe

01:26:320 (5) - make this circle a part of the following slider instead

Yep, fits better, done

01:39:060 (4) - if you look at the previous slider, you'll see that it overlaps this circle. This would be fine in any difficulty except easy, because in easy you're supposed to be able to see notes from miles away, in other terms.

replaced the following circles and sliders, no overlapping anymore

01:43:169 (3) - this slider beginning may be hard to hear, since it's not very obvious.
and the list goes on.

removed previous circle, slider starts earlier now and is longer

Most of the problems sort of repeat themselves. If you get a hang of everything I've mentioned and manage to fix and identify similar problems throughout the map, you'll have improved a lot. ;) (not that I know how good you were from the beginning, but from what I've seen)

Dunno if i'm good or bad since this is my first attempt to make a map and nobody told me yet :)

Remember that these are only suggestions, you choose whether you want to change things or not, though I would definitely recommend doing so.
Thanks for the Mod :D

Hello! NM from modding queue~!
I like the music

Normal[]
  1. 00:12:347 (5,1) - is too far like w h o a, Normal diff should have a consistent spacing.
  2. Like I said above, spacing. 00:13:991 (1,2,3) - & 00:14:813 (3,4,5) - 's spacing is not consistent.
  3. 00:22:210 (7,1) - this looks crumpled. What about... Ctrl+shift+R 00:23:443 (1) - by, say 40, then move it between 00:21:799 (6,7)
  4. 00:25:498 (2,3,4,5,6) - not a perfect square. Move 00:26:320 (4) - down a little bit and 00:27:142 (6) - should be exactly where 00:25:498 (2) - was.
  5. 00:30:430 (1) - Greenline fix please.
  6. And 00:30:430 (1,2,3) - not a nice beat there ^^" make it like this instead:
remember that 00:30:430 (1,2,3) - should have the same spacing!
  7. 00:33:717 (1,2,3,4,5) - not a nice curve. What I did was, move 00:33:717 (1,2) - to make 00:33:717 (1,2,3) - a nice half an octagon shape.
  8. 00:55:087 (6,7,8,9) - Please make this a perfect curve ^^
  9. 00:56:731 (1) - what I would do is, this, for flow's sake. You've used the top right bit of the screen just seconds ago ==
  10. 01:03:306 (1,2) - uneven spacing, move 01:05:361 (2) - a little bit to the left
  11. 01:07:827 (5,6,7,8) - not a nice curve. And eh, you just copied the same pattern.
  12. 01:14:402 (7) - would be nice if moved a little bit up. 01:12:758 (3,4,5,6,7) - will be a nicer curve too.
  13. 01:19:334 (3) - not a neat slider. And I think these insanely long sliders 01:16:046 (1,2,3,4) - are not a good idea :/
  14. And you've used a lot of 01:22:210 (5,1,1,2,3,4) - kind of pattern a lot of times already /:
  15. 01:22:210 (5) - NC (new combo) here and remove NC here 01:22:621 (1) - and 01:23:032 (1) -
  16. 01:24:265 (4) - NC
  17. 01:31:662 (7,8,1) - either make this a perfect curve or a straight line, there's no in-between.
  18. 01:39:060 (1) - move down to make it straight
  19. 01:42:347 (1,2) - just make the beat like this
And there's an unnecessary slider point there btw (01:43:786 (2) - , the end of it)
  20. 03:01:868 (1) - move this to 03:01:662 (1) - (the white line). I know that the vocal starts at 03:01:868, but nobody will know/expect it.
  21. 03:05:361 (3,4) - stack
  22. 03:44:402 (7,8,9,10) - this kind of positioning is very cumpled. What I did was,
  23. 03:44:402 (7) - NC btw
  24. 04:00:019 (1) - move to while line
  25. 04:37:827 (3) - one tip to make a neat slider: at least do an attempt to make the points symmetrical.
  26. 04:40:293 (2,1,2,3) - not straight
  27. 04:49:745 (1,2,3,4,5) - ^, move 04:50:567 (3) - down
  28. 05:02:484 (8,1,2,3) - it would be nice to make a curve here too

[]
Ok this is a whole lot of mods already, and it's dinner time and I'm starving, so I won't mod Easy diff =="
I think you just did the same tapping pattern like e.g 00:37:005 (1,2,3,4,5) - , I suppose it's because you don't know what else to put? I know, because I've been there =w=
But don't worry, as the time pass, you'll learn new patterns that you could apply to your diff. As a first map, this is completely normal.

been trying 30 minutes now... still couldn't find out how lol
this is supposed to be a green offset... right? can't remove it...

  6. And 00:30:430 (1,2,3) - not a nice beat there ^^" make it like this instead:

hmm... not perfect, but i think it's better now than it has been before

yeah... think curve is better now - patterns hmm
  12. 01:14:402 (7) - would be nice if moved a little bit up. 01:12:758 (3,4,5,6,7) - will be a nicer curve too.
  13. 01:19:334 (3) - not a neat slider. And I think these insanely long sliders 01:16:046 (1,2,3,4) - are not a good idea :/

already getting bored of this pattern? :D
removed and put a new one

    done anyway

couldn't get this to look as nice as yours :/

  25. 04:37:827 (3) - one tip to make a neat slider: at least do an attempt to make the points symmetrical.

dunno if my new attempt can be called a neat slider, but it's way better now
  26. 04:40:293 (2,1,2,3) - not straight

everything that didn't get a comment is done... more or less
Electoz
01:41 Electoz: gimme a few mins
01:42 Yanganof: don't stress yourself xD
01:48 Electoz: I'll go with
01:48 Electoz: general ideas
01:48 Electoz: rather than pointing specific stuff
01:48 Yanganof: okay
01:49 Electoz: first off
01:49 Electoz: sv is too low
01:49 Electoz: like, really low
01:49 Electoz: try finding ranked maps with a similar bpm
01:50 Electoz: and see how much they put for sv in each difficulty
01:52 Yanganof: hmm sv?
01:52 Electoz: sry
01:52 Electoz: my internet got cut off
01:52 Electoz: anyways
01:52 Yanganof: ah k
01:52 Electoz: https://osu.ppy.sh/wiki/Glossary
01:53 Electoz: ^your dictionary
01:53 Electoz: sv basically means
01:53 Yanganof: ah
01:53 Electoz: slider velocity
01:53 Yanganof: yeah thanks
01:53 Electoz: to sum it up
01:53 Electoz: your sliders are too slow
01:53 Electoz: not sure what I had left off so I gotta say this again
01:53 Electoz: find ranked maps with a similar bpm
01:54 Electoz: see how much they put in sv for each difficulty
01:54 Yanganof: ok
01:54 Electoz: well that's basically a remap
01:54 Electoz: I'm talking about this btw
01:54 *Electoz is editing [http://osu.ppy.sh/b/935370 Zytokine - Samayouyaiba [Easy]]
01:54 Yanganof: ok
01:54 Yanganof: the same in normal?
01:55 Yanganof: or is it better there?
01:55 Electoz: normal is a bit fast for me
01:55 Electoz: well you should try measure that with other ranked songs
01:55 Electoz: as I said before
01:56 Electoz: secondly
01:56 Electoz: your
01:56 Electoz: difficulty setting choices are like, really low for some reason
01:56 Electoz: there are barely any songs with 0.5 ar od hp nowadays
01:56 Electoz: even in Easy
01:57 Electoz: ar depends on how density your objects is, bpm is also one of the factors
01:57 Electoz: basically an appropriate ar gives an appropriate information to players while they're playing
01:57 Yanganof: ok
01:57 Electoz: giving them too much by using too low ar will cause them to see many objects in the screen
01:57 Electoz: so they won't know where to go
01:58 Electoz: od is like
01:58 Electoz: the higher od is, the more preciseness required to hit the object
01:58 Electoz: not sure how to describle properly
01:59 Electoz: but in short, higher od = harder to get 300
01:59 Electoz: in return, too low od will cause players to get
01:59 Electoz: 300 too easily
01:59 Yanganof: mhm
01:59 Electoz: giving a good amount of od will make the player feel the rhythm of the song
02:00 Electoz: as for hp, well it's easier to understand compared to those two I explained before
02:00 Electoz: so I'll skip it
02:01 Electoz: as for Easy
02:02 Electoz: the rhythm can be improved a lot
02:02 Electoz: let's see
02:03 Electoz: when you're mapping something
02:03 Electoz: you will be following "something"
02:04 Electoz: this "something" depends on mappers
02:04 Electoz: and songs
02:04 Electoz: some will be following vocal
02:04 Electoz: while some will be following instruments
02:04 Electoz: and when we're following something
02:04 Electoz: we'll stick with it
02:04 Electoz: at least for a certain part in the song
02:05 Electoz: 00:50:207 (1,2,3,4) - this for example
02:05 Electoz: you can see there's vocal landed on 00:50:207 (1,2,3) - but not 00:51:850 (4) -
02:05 Electoz: so if you decided to follow vocal, you have to know where it lands
02:06 Electoz: and make those beats where vocal lands clickable
02:06 Electoz: is it too complicated?
02:06 Yanganof: na i get what you mean
02:07 Electoz: alright then I'll continue
02:08 Electoz: However
02:08 Electoz: when you're following vocal, there is a beat where you shouldn't ignore it
02:08 Electoz: it is called a "downbeat" aka as a big white tick
02:08 Electoz: Like
02:09 Electoz: 00:56:782 - 01:00:070 - 01:01:713 - for example
02:09 Electoz: downbeats will keep everyone stick with the rhythm
02:09 Electoz: and also can be an introduction
02:09 Electoz: into a different rhythm, like 00:56:782 -
02:09 Electoz: you can see the rhythm is a bit changed after that one
02:10 Electoz: those downbeats where there is a sound landed on it shouldn't be ignored
02:11 Electoz: 00:41:987 - 00:45:275 - in terms of music sense, these are the example which can be ignored
02:11 Electoz: it's kinda like it needs a rhythm sense a bit
02:12 Electoz: the first one has only vocal landed on it, while the second one doesn't have anything landed on
02:12 Electoz: of course if you're following the instruments, you can ignore the first one I mentioned
02:12 Electoz: if you're following the vocal, then it should be mapped
02:12 Electoz: simple
02:12 Electoz: as for the second one
02:12 Electoz: the beat is not important as nothing has landed on it
02:12 Electoz: so you could either make it a sliderend there or just simply ignore it
02:13 Electoz: also it would be better to having a break after the downbeat
02:13 Yanganof: hm
02:13 Electoz: like
02:14 Electoz: 01:09:933 - 01:49:385 - can be mapped
02:14 Electoz: well there are the other breaks too
02:14 Electoz: but I just mentioned a few of them
02:14 Yanganof: ok
02:14 Electoz: 03:47:330 (1) - this spinner too, should end on 03:51:028
02:14 Electoz: 03:51:028 -
02:15 Electoz: ending things on downbeats gives a fulfilling feel
02:15 Electoz: which is better, to most people
02:16 Electoz: alright
02:16 Electoz: that's one issue down
02:16 Electoz: any questions?
02:16 Yanganof: atm not
02:17 Yanganof: gotta look this over and see what i'll change first
02:17 Electoz: alright
02:17 Electoz: then I'll continue
02:17 Yanganof: questions will come then xD
02:17 Electoz: ok
02:17 Electoz: some of your sliders are too long
02:17 Electoz: in terms of rhythm
02:17 Electoz: 00:43:631 (1) - this for example
02:17 Electoz: in Easy or whatever diff it is
02:17 Electoz: try not to make a slider longer than 2 white ticks
02:17 Electoz: unless you're doing a sliderart
02:18 Electoz: or there is a really significant sound
02:18 Electoz: that it's worth doing a long slider
02:18 Electoz: something like 00:47:330 (4) - 00:58:426 (4) - is not good at all
02:18 Electoz: these sliders are too long
02:18 Electoz: indicating that
02:18 Electoz: you ignored quite a number of beats, regardless of what you're following
02:19 Electoz: try not to ignore beats, try to map them all
02:19 Electoz: well it's not necessary need to be "all", but
02:19 Electoz: make it appropriate for each difficulties
02:19 Electoz: in Easy most objects will always have 1/1 spacing
02:19 Electoz: while Normal can have 1/2
02:19 Electoz: and Hard will occasionally have 1/4 aka as triplets
02:20 Yanganof: ok
02:20 Electoz: to sum it up for this map, don't ignore beats with those long sliders
02:21 Electoz: let's see
02:21 Electoz: you know hitsounding?
02:21 Electoz: *do you
02:22 Yanganof: i know what it is and i've always disabled it xD
02:22 Electoz: welp
02:22 Electoz: alright then, I'll skip it
02:23 Electoz: well that's all major issues for now
02:23 Electoz: the rest are like
02:23 Electoz: aesthetic stuff which I'm pretty much weak at
02:23 Electoz: well I'll go with some quick ones
02:23 Electoz: 00:57:193 (1,2,3,4) - In Easy and Normal
02:24 Electoz: you shouldn't have players clicking objects many times continuously
02:24 Electoz: if you look at ranked Easy and Normal maps in terms of numbers of objects
02:24 Electoz: you'll see that they will have a lot of sliders, compared to circles
02:24 Electoz: because the slider gives a player moment to "rest"
02:24 Electoz: and it doesn't require much sense of rhythm compared to circle
02:25 Yanganof: ok
02:25 Electoz: cuz no matter how late or early you hit the slider, you still got 300
02:25 Electoz: in Easy, clicking objects 3 or more times in a row
02:25 Electoz: can cause the map to become harder
02:25 Electoz: both in terms of gameplay and star rating
02:26 Electoz: 01:03:768 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) -
02:26 Electoz: ^so obvious that
02:26 Electoz: you're trying to do a square
02:26 Electoz: thing is, something like square pattern is really old nowadays
02:26 Electoz: no one use things like that anymore
02:27 Electoz: rather than "patterns", these days map styles are emphasising on "flows"
02:27 Electoz: It's already hard to make a pattern in Easy and Normal
02:27 Electoz: mainly because DS
02:28 Electoz: so people go with flowy map style, because it's more comfortable that way
02:28 Electoz: you'll see that there are square or more patterns in older maps
02:28 Electoz: older maps are like,
02:28 Electoz: made for a challenge for player's skills
02:29 Electoz: so they have some unique patterns and mapstyle
02:29 Electoz: s
02:29 Electoz: to sum it up
02:29 Electoz: try going for the "flow" instead of "pattern"
02:29 Electoz: it's not that pattern is bad
02:30 Electoz: but you shouldn't emphasising it too much when you're mapping
02:31 Electoz: alright then
02:31 Electoz: that would cover up in Easy for now
02:31 Electoz: I'll go with this then
02:31 *Electoz is editing [http://osu.ppy.sh/b/934587 Zytokine - Samayouyaiba [Normal]]
02:43 Yanganof: ah you're back xD
02:43 Electoz: sry
02:43 Electoz: where did I left off again?
02:43 Yanganof: na np
02:44 Yanganof: you wanted to do normal
02:44 Electoz: ah
02:44 Electoz: right
02:44 Yanganof: but i gottago now so it would be better if you wait a bit xD
02:44 Yanganof: i think i'll be back in about 30 - 40 minutes
02:44 Electoz: nah
02:44 Electoz: just gonna say that
02:45 Electoz: normal has similar problems with Easy
02:45 Electoz: so probably that's it
02:45 Electoz: cuz
02:45 Yanganof: ok
02:45 Electoz: I hope you understand the concept of what I said
02:45 Yanganof: yeah
02:45 Electoz: well that didn't cover everything but
02:45 Electoz: probably the most major issues for now
02:45 Electoz: yeah, hope it helped
02:46 Yanganof: yes i think it will help me a lot :)
02:46 Yanganof: thanks
02:46 Electoz: alright then, good luck
Did an IRC mod with a mapper on how rhythm works, how difficulties should be played and difficulty settings.
Good luck~

Easy - Mod (1st official omg so excited)

> Nice looking/ relaxing Map, Timing is great, no errors in AI-Mod and i like ur mapping-style very much^^

Important:

- Offset: @ 00:30:481 (1)
- Hitsound-Additions: use them! (vital for ranking and more fun to play)
- Kiai-Time: i recommend from 01:36:234 (1) - 02:02:535 (4) also 03:21:439 (1) - 03:47:330 (1) and 04:00:892 (1) - 04:40:344 (4)
- Timing Sections: Use the Kiai-Time-Sections to alternate the Slider-Velocity and the Volume of the Hitsounds
- Break-Times: Way too many in my opinion (interrupts the flow of the song more than giving time to take a break), even for an Easy-Map this long. I recommend having 2 total maybe 03:08:289 (5) - 03:21:439 (1) and from 03:47:330 (1) - 04:00:892 (1)
- Patterns: need consistency, map similar/ repeating Beat-Sections the same way; e.g. 01:06:234 should be like 00:59:659

Suggestions:

- Considering the Editor rates ur Map for Normal u could lower the Distance Spacing and Slider-Velocity
- Give those noobs some spinners - noobs love spinners!
- Move Objects like 01:24:316 (2) a bit away from the edge of the screen (looks better, more comfy to play)
- You may wanna consider reducing Intro and Outro by placing some more Hit-Objects

that's all for now, guess i will mod normal as well, but not now
hope this helps :P

Important:

- Offset: @ 00:30:481 (1)

This would change... what exactly?

- Hitsound-Additions: use them! (vital for ranking and more fun to play)

Gonna add them soon

- Kiai-Time: i recommend from 01:36:234 (1) - 02:02:535 (4) also 03:21:439 (1) - 03:47:330 (1) and 04:00:892 (1) - 04:40:344 (4)

Added Kiai from 01:35:412 - 02:02:535, 03:21:439 - 03:51:028 and 04:00:069 - 04:28:014

- Timing Sections: Use the Kiai-Time-Sections to alternate the Slider-Velocity and the Volume of the Hitsounds

There aren't any speed changes in the Song, so i don't think a change in velocity would fit. especially not in easy.

Removed one. The others are still as they've been. Would get too hard for an easy map

- Patterns: need consistency, map similar/ repeating Beat-Sections the same way; e.g. 01:06:234 should be like 00:59:659

#BoringMapsftw

Suggestions:

- Considering the Editor rates ur Map for Normal u could lower the Distance Spacing and Slider-Velocity

SV would get to low, increased it some time ago

- Give those noobs some spinners - noobs love spinners!

There are spinners (at least one xD)

- Move Objects like 01:24:316 (2) a bit away from the edge of the screen (looks better, more comfy to play)

Gonna think about his once again

- You may wanna consider reducing Intro and Outro by placing some more Hit-Objects

Thanks!
MokouSmoke
some irc stuff
11:27 MokouSmoke: hey uhh... do you have time for irc mod?
11:27 *MokouSmoke is editing [https://osu.ppy.sh/b/935370 Zytokine - Samayouyaiba [Easy]]
11:27 Yanganof: hmm
11:27 Yanganof: why not
11:27 Yanganof: just let me look if i changed something before you begin ^^
11:28 MokouSmoke: yeah, why don't you update and i'll redl
11:28 Yanganof: k, easy is the newest one, just changed normal ~
11:28 MokouSmoke: k
11:28 Yanganof: cuz i wanna update after i finished hard ^^
11:28 MokouSmoke: mmm ok
11:28 MokouSmoke: so first thing is that diffs should start at the same time
11:29 MokouSmoke: so you should map out the first part in easy or remove the beginning in normal
11:29 Yanganof: ok
11:29 MokouSmoke: also, try to keep your hitsounding consistent
11:30 Yanganof: hm
11:30 MokouSmoke: for example: 00:32:124 - has no clap
11:30 Yanganof: i thought it is?
11:30 MokouSmoke: but 00:35:412 - does
11:30 Yanganof: ahh y
11:30 MokouSmoke: so I think better to remove clap at 00:35:412 -
11:31 MokouSmoke: same thing with 00:35:412 - and 00:36:234 -
11:31 MokouSmoke: one has finish but the other has clap
11:31 Yanganof: i thought for 2 tick slider clap at start and end and for 1 tick slider only at start
11:31 MokouSmoke: mmm, well up to you, but I think following music is better
11:31 MokouSmoke: since in both places the music is identical
11:32 Yanganof: ok
11:32 Yanganof: then i'll chnge it
11:32 MokouSmoke: other thing I notice is flow
11:33 MokouSmoke: 00:30:892 (2,3) - the slider don't point toward next note, which makes it harder for beginners to figure out where the next note is
11:33 MokouSmoke: especially for easy maps, it's better to stick to smooth flow
11:33 Yanganof: ok
11:34 MokouSmoke: uhh.. I don't know how to explain well, but you can read
11:34 MokouSmoke: t/86329
11:34 MokouSmoke: https://osu.ppy.sh/news/61334266941
11:34 MokouSmoke: if you haven't already
11:34 Yanganof: i'll do that, thanks
11:34 MokouSmoke: 00:46:919 - this should have something clickable
11:35 MokouSmoke: because it has a strong vocal sound and it's the start of new phrase
11:37 MokouSmoke: 01:44:453 (4,1,2) - so slider (4) points towards (2) instead of (1), so new players might think (2) comes right after (4)
11:38 MokouSmoke: maybe try to move (1,2) around
11:38 Yanganof: ok
11:39 MokouSmoke: do you know about blankets?
11:39 MokouSmoke: 01:58:426 (3,1) - this one could be fixed
11:40 Yanganof: blankets?
11:40 MokouSmoke: basically where a slider perfectly surrounds a note
11:40 MokouSmoke: t/208596
11:40 MokouSmoke: it makes your map look much nicer visually
11:41 Yanganof: ah
11:41 MokouSmoke: you already kinda do it, it's just some of them can be improved
11:42 Yanganof: ok
11:42 MokouSmoke: 02:05:823 - 02:09:111 - in general, downbeats (big white ticks) are strong beats in the song and should have something clickable
11:43 Yanganof: mhmm
11:43 Yanganof: i thought it was a good idea to end my sliders there :(
11:44 MokouSmoke: well, it's just a suggestion, so if you think vocals are strong enough to skip it's up to you
11:44 Yanganof: i'll think about it once again
11:44 MokouSmoke: 02:55:138 - well, this one I feel pretty strongly about
11:45 MokouSmoke: there's a finish sound in the song as well you can hitsound
11:45 MokouSmoke: 03:24:727 (2,3) - try to avoid overlaps
11:46 MokouSmoke: 03:29:248 (3) - curve less so slider head and tail don't touch
11:46 Yanganof: ok
11:46 MokouSmoke: 03:33:357 (4,1) - another overlap
11:47 MokouSmoke: well, the spacing is good
11:48 MokouSmoke: I think next step is improving flow in a few spots and adding more patterns/blankets to make map look nicer
11:48 *MokouSmoke is editing [https://osu.ppy.sh/b/934587 Zytokine - Samayouyaiba [Normal]]
11:49 MokouSmoke: slider velocity feels a little fast
11:49 MokouSmoke: for normal
11:49 Yanganof: ok
11:49 MokouSmoke: i think 1.1sv would be good
11:49 MokouSmoke: and a hard diff could use something around 1.4 SV
11:49 Yanganof: hmm
11:49 MokouSmoke: since i saw you were working on it
11:50 Yanganof: hard diff has exactly 1.4 xD
11:50 MokouSmoke: haha
11:51 Yanganof: changing sv means another remap..
11:51 Yanganof: k
11:51 MokouSmoke: other thing is if you do change SV for normal, I would recommend using 1.0 DS
11:51 MokouSmoke: sorry lol
11:51 MokouSmoke: it's just that the community has a set of standard in order to rank a mapset
11:51 MokouSmoke: and stuff like 1.4 SV for normal makes it very hard to get it approved
11:51 Yanganof: yeah i know
11:52 Yanganof: it's better to do this now than having to do it after everything else is fine xD
11:52 MokouSmoke: it's also your first beatmap?
11:52 MokouSmoke: so don't be discouraged if you have to remap a couple times
11:52 Yanganof: yeah its my first one
11:52 MokouSmoke: my first map, I remapped every diff 4-5 times and it still wasn't very good afterwards
11:53 Yanganof: o.O
11:53 MokouSmoke: just map a lot of stuff and you naturally get better
11:54 MokouSmoke: 00:05:823 (1,2,3,4) - linear flow isn't really comfortable to play
11:54 Yanganof: ok
11:54 MokouSmoke: maybe make slight angles to each one, so it's easier to snap to notes
11:55 MokouSmoke: http://puu.sh/oKN76/01db156272.jpg
11:55 MokouSmoke: something like that
11:55 Yanganof: ok
11:55 MokouSmoke: same with all your other linear patterns, you should only use that pattern to emphasize a series of beats, since linear flow is harder to play
11:55 Yanganof: You're using you're own skin?
11:55 MokouSmoke: yeah
11:55 Yanganof: ok
11:55 MokouSmoke: default one looks ugly lol
11:56 Yanganof: because i'd like to get some opinions on the skin of the map too ^^
11:56 MokouSmoke: oh, does it have a skin?
11:56 Yanganof: mostly
11:56 MokouSmoke: err... I don't see it
11:56 MokouSmoke: let me try to redl
11:57 Yanganof: https://osu.ppy.sh/s/433586
11:58 MokouSmoke: yeah, i downloaded this a couple weeks ago when you posted in my queue, so I might be missing some stuff
11:58 Yanganof: ^.^
11:59 MokouSmoke: looks pretty nice
12:00 MokouSmoke: you could also add a skin for the spinner
12:00 Yanganof: i was thinking about it but didn't find an image yet
12:01 Yanganof: the things i tried were ugly and really irritating when spinning
12:01 MokouSmoke: hmm...
12:03 MokouSmoke: if you're going to remap normal
12:03 MokouSmoke: i would also recommend you try to include more 1/2 rhythms
12:03 Yanganof: hmm
12:03 Yanganof: i wanted to use those in hard
12:04 Yanganof: 1/4 doesn'T really fit this map
12:04 MokouSmoke: yeah, so easy typically uses all 1/1
12:04 MokouSmoke: normal uses a mix of 1/1 and 1/2
12:04 MokouSmoke: and hard is mostly 1/2
12:04 Yanganof: ok
12:04 MokouSmoke: actually stuff like 03:26:371 (6,7,8,9) - in normal is hard to play
12:04 MokouSmoke: cuz every 1/2 rhythm is a clickable object
12:05 Yanganof: ok
12:05 MokouSmoke: that's considered "true" 1/2 rhythm
12:06 MokouSmoke: there's also "fake" rhythm that relies on slider ends
12:06 MokouSmoke: 01:38:905 -
12:07 MokouSmoke: could try something like
12:07 MokouSmoke: http://puu.sh/oKNSY/af81077f6b.jpg
12:07 MokouSmoke: those kinds of rhythms are appropriate for normal
12:08 MokouSmoke: i think that's about it
12:08 Yanganof: ok
12:08 MokouSmoke: i'll post a log of this on the forum, but PM me in-game if you ever have questions
12:08 Yanganof: thanks then
12:08 MokouSmoke: good luck~
12:08 Yanganof: yup
12:09 Yanganof: atm i have just one
12:09 Yanganof: what ds would be good for hard?
12:09 Yanganof: sth like 1.4?
12:09 MokouSmoke: kinda depends
12:10 MokouSmoke: with hard there's more flexibility depending on mapping style
12:10 MokouSmoke: I personally like 1.4 SV, 1.1-1.3 DS
12:10 Yanganof: lots of jumps and stacks xD
12:10 MokouSmoke: and then use some 1.6-1.7 DS for some jumps
12:10 MokouSmoke: for strong parts of music
12:10 Yanganof: ok
12:10 MokouSmoke: you can look at ranked maps with similar bpm
12:11 MokouSmoke: and find songs you like and copy their diff settings
12:11 Yanganof: yeah
12:11 MokouSmoke: but hard should still mostly use consistent spacing imo
12:11 MokouSmoke: only a few parts where jumps should be used
12:12 Yanganof: hmm
12:12 Yanganof: https://osu.ppy.sh/s/237116
12:12 MokouSmoke: otherwise, map needs to be very structured with lots of patterns, so players can still predict where the next note will be
12:13 Yanganof: this one has quite a lot of jumps though
12:13 Yanganof: ok
12:14 MokouSmoke: well, in that case, there's also and advanced diff
12:14 MokouSmoke: so the hard can be "harder"
12:14 Yanganof: ah
12:14 MokouSmoke: also the mapper of that set is very experienced
12:15 MokouSmoke: so he knows when jumps will feel natural to match with song
12:15 Yanganof: so if i want to make a lot of jumps i'd have to do an isane
12:15 MokouSmoke: for newer mappers, it's easier to stick with DS until you figure out what works imo
12:15 MokouSmoke: yeah insane can have plenty of jumps
12:15 Yanganof: ok
12:15 MokouSmoke: just make sure jumps follow the song though
12:16 MokouSmoke: strong beat/important sound = jump

Yanganof
thanks!
spinner and scorebar look really nice (o///o)
MokouSmoke
talked some more with the mapper
13:01 MokouSmoke: hmm, i guess i can start w/ normal then
13:03 MokouSmoke: yeah, it's much nicer now
13:04 MokouSmoke: i think it could still be buffed a little bit with some more 1/2 rhythms
13:04 Yanganof: ok
13:05 MokouSmoke: visuals are nicer too
13:05 MokouSmoke: one thing is like at 00:18:974 (1,2,3) -
13:05 MokouSmoke: even though you use DS, space between (1,2) looks smaller than at (2,3)
13:06 MokouSmoke: so you can adjust to make more even to improve visuals
13:06 Yanganof: yeah you're right
13:06 MokouSmoke: let me show you example if i can get my internet to work
13:06 Yanganof: it's a bit off
13:07 MokouSmoke: http://puu.sh/oRSh0/705bee56ee.jpg
13:07 MokouSmoke: 00:22:672 (5) - could flatten this for better flow
13:07 MokouSmoke: or blanket
13:08 Yanganof: ok
13:08 MokouSmoke: 00:27:604 (1,1,2) - i would delete these
13:08 MokouSmoke: song get suddenly quiet, so it's a good spot for small break
13:09 MokouSmoke: 00:31:302 (2) -
13:10 MokouSmoke: try something like this http://puu.sh/oRSs7/0c2dc8ce57.jpg
13:10 MokouSmoke: simple 1/2 rhythm and follows both drum and vocals
13:10 MokouSmoke: you can apply rhythm to similar spots as well
13:11 MokouSmoke: 01:11:576 (4,1,2) - careful with your pattern
13:11 Yanganof: ?
13:11 MokouSmoke: strong beat is on (2),
13:11 MokouSmoke: but way you pattern it looks like its on (1)
13:12 Yanganof: ah
13:12 MokouSmoke: actually you could just switch NC
13:12 MokouSmoke: keep it on downbeat
13:12 Yanganof: ok
13:12 MokouSmoke: 01:16:097 (1,2) - same here switch NC
13:13 MokouSmoke: 01:51:439 (5,1) - careful with spacing
13:13 Yanganof: k ~
13:14 Yanganof: o.O
13:14 MokouSmoke: 01:58:837 (4,5,6) - maybe move these a little to avoid overlaps
13:14 MokouSmoke: 02:16:919 (2) - ^
13:16 MokouSmoke: 03:34:385 (1) - make the dowbeat clickable
13:17 Yanganof: ok
13:17 MokouSmoke: 04:20:207 (1) - move this to 04:20:001 -
13:17 MokouSmoke: mistake I think
13:17 MokouSmoke: add add note on downbeat
13:18 MokouSmoke: 04:26:371 (4,1) - fix stack
13:18 MokouSmoke: 04:48:974 (3,3) - ^
13:19 MokouSmoke: it's improved since last time i saw it
13:19 MokouSmoke: i think next step is to doublecheck some of your rhythms and make sure it follows song
13:20 MokouSmoke: especially in kiai, since it's normal diff, you can follow vocals/drums more instead of sticking to 1/1 rhythm
13:20 Yanganof: okay
13:20 Yanganof: thanks :)
13:20 MokouSmoke: np
13:21 MokouSmoke: you want me to post this on forum?
13:21 Yanganof: since it's been quite a lot... xeah ^^
13:21 MokouSmoke: ok
13:21 MokouSmoke: don't give me kudo though since I already received before

CaffeAmericano
Hi~

  • Easy
  1. In general: I think short sliders don't look good when they are curved too much. I think you can go easier on curving 1/1 sliders.
  2. 00:05:823 (1,2,1) - flow suggestion: http://puu.sh/paswR/c2d1663120.jpg
  3. 00:08:700 (2,2) - They are not stacked properly. Twist one of them a little to make them stack purrfectly
  4. 00:11:576 (2,2) - This kind of overlap doesn't look very good
  5. 00:11:576 (2,2) - I think break should start here. I strongly recommend against leaving 00:25:549 - blank.
  6. 00:30:892 (2,3,4) - flow suggestion: http://puu.sh/pasPJ/29657f09f0.jpg
  7. 00:37:056 (1,2,3) - flow recommendation: http://puu.sh/pasRB/8646fd519c.jpg
  8. 01:15:686 - I don't think you should put a break here.
  9. 01:47:330 (1,2) - flow suggestion: http://puu.sh/pasWL/3d8fbc38a4.jpg
  10. 02:16:097 (1,2) - this kind of short reverse sliders are difficult to read for beginners and not recommended for easy. (and they are too short to look good)
  11. 02:22:261 - I think the break that starts here should be filled
  12. 02:45:686 (2) - It's good that you're using variation in slider shape, but hopefully they should follow the music. This to me looks like a change just for the sake of change.
  13. 03:08:289 - This break also looks bit awkward to me
  14. 03:26:371 (4,2) - You could make 4 blanket 2
  15. 04:09:111 - it's usually not a good idea to put slider tail on the upbeat. The vocal kicks here too.
  16. 04:07:467 (2,3,4) - Rhythm suggestion: http://puu.sh/patg9/7552645a2d.jpg
  17. 04:22:261 (3,4) - Maybe a blanket here? http://puu.sh/patm2/c3214aa0ed.jpg

Best of luck!!

  1. In general: I think short sliders don't look good when they are curved too much. I think you can go easier on curving 1/1 sliders.

  3. 00:08:700 (2,2) - They are not stacked properly. Twist one of them a little to make them stack purrfectly

  4. 00:11:576 (2,2) - This kind of overlap doesn't look very good

  5. 00:11:576 (2,2) - I think break should start here. I strongly recommend against leaving 00:25:549 - blank.
