My mod for the Insane difficulty

Change the OD to 8, HP AR and CS are ok imo

I recommend you to use sliders consisting out of 3 points which result in around 45 degrees as you can see in the spoiler

like this

The first few sliders should be just some fancy sliders and copy and paste is not wrong at all

some examples

00:18:549 (3) - Turn it 180 and then Ctrl+G

00:20:949 (1) - Change this slider to 1/2 of its size and make the arrowtick silent

00:22:321 (1) - Take a distance snapping of ~0.8 for the stream and make it somewhat linear before going into a slider

00:32:606 (1) - let the spinner end on the white tick

00:38:092 (5) - make the edge a little bit softer

00:39:121 (2) - copy and mirror the slider from edit/00:38:092 (5)

00:44:949 (1) - change to a stream with a distance snap of 0.8

00:50:435 (1) - use a stream pattern where the stream is starting through a jump (i used a distance of ~2.1)

Hello again!

I was looking at my Guest Diffculty and the fast sliders would be a suprise so i added storyboard!
Its just something simple. It just gives the player a warning about the sldiers

replace the [Event] in the .osu file on you beatmap with this:

00:06:549 (1) - overlaps like these looking really untidy to me, i would avoid them but thats just my opinion

00:07:921 (1) - ^

00:20:949 (5) - ^

00:43:578 (6,7,10) - ^

00:12:721 (3) - that slider is way too far at the right but the shape is nice

00:22:664 (5,1) - they dont really fit to each other (flow) maybe smth like that will do well

01:09:806 (2,3) - this feels a little weird while playing cuz the slider breaks the flow

01:14:264 (4,5) - same here, you did that quite often and im not exactly sure about that but for me it feels weird ._. but its up to you

01:34:835 (3,4) - another example

01:21:635 (1,2,3) - do the same DS between those 3 sliders and the pattern is really cool (like u already did that here 01:42:206 (1,2,3) - )

oh, its not finished yet o.o well i think i just keep that!

01:22:664 (3,1) - this anti-flow jump seems a bit to hard for the diff of the map, i recommend to put 01:23:692 (1,2) - on the other side and map from that point on

01:27:464 (1,1,1,1) - idk about them (probably remove them), cuz theres no music

01:31:578 (1,2) - this does not fit to the music (sad cuz its a nice pattern)

00:51:806 (5,1) - they look a bit off the music too... you could try smth like that

make a long slider (as u already did before) but make it that way that on every white tick the slider makes a 90° angle. I did an example above here.. i hope u understand what i mean ;_;

01:00:721 (7) - I'll be honest: this slider doesnt really fit imo. I would remove the reverse slider and place a note instead of the reverse thing

maybe even something like that slider (obviously more accurate, prettier)

Randomly picked from #modreqs, I learn to mod and Bakari helps me out with that. Please, give us some feedback, so I could improve further.

[General]

Mp3 should be cut to adjust the map's length, since now it's twice as long as the map.
Mapset requires one diff lower than 2* (easy/normal) to meet ranked requirments.

[Hyper]

Some of the timings points have relatively high speed boost, like here 01:22:664 (3) - that makes it pretty unclean*
00:02:435 (2) - slider looks pretty untidy, curve it a bit less
00:05:178 (2) - you can make it symmetrical so it will look a bit better
00:16:835 (1,2) - flow break is strong here.
00:25:749 (1,2,3,4) - this also breaks flow a bit, I'd suggest rotate (4) or rework that pattern
Note: 00:26:435 (4,5) - 00:30:892 (5,1) -01:10:321 (3,4) ^ same as before
00:34:664 (3) - https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/5819874 curve it a bit more like this way (and make 5 symmetrical in the same way) so the slider tail shows better direction to (4)
00:43:578 (5) - long sliders with multiple bounces doesn't work well in all kind of diffs, I'd rework it to a normal pattern. It just feels too repetitive, so, using those often makes the map a lot less enjoyable than it could be.

Generally, you use random DS, try to use just one with help of timelines if necessary, since sometimes it's just kinda random. After that, use distance snap (except for jumps) to make it cleaner. The map looks pretty nice, but it can be a lot more consistent neat.

Ok, I looked at everything you said and hope this is much better! I'm still not the best at mapping but I will practice everyday. All I want is to make/be a part of a ranked map. I'm gonna look through this and use it to my advantage

Changed everything besides the things i complained about that!

Generally, you use random DS, try to use just one with help of timelines if necessary, since sometimes it's just kinda random. After that, use distance snap (except for jumps) to make it cleaner. The map looks pretty nice, but it can be a lot more consistent neat.

I gonna changed the DS than!

first, change bg (a hint from the past modder), it looks too compressed (jpg). you don't need to look for a bg right with the same title and artist

okay, lets move to diff

00:03:862 (1) - feels like curve slider, move this point on the slider right-up

00:05:234 (1) - ^/nice copy

00:14:834 (1,3) - bad overlap between ends of sliders, which can avoid, move end of 3-rd slider left-down

00:18:091 (4,2) - make here so the note was lying exactly in the middle of slider (right blanket)

00:23:748 (4,2) - located too close, move note right

00:26:148 (2,1) - make here blanket

Challenge
-i recommend you to remove whistles from intro slides bodies and slider ends, to do this all you have to do is doubleclick the slider body and press w to remove whistle, and for slider end, double click slider end and click w to remove it.
-i recommend you to check t/208596 for trying to improve some of the sliders and blankets you have, to have better aesthetics.
for example 00:14:662 (4,1) - you could've blanketed these properly or 00:17:577 (3,4) - etc.
-i recommend you to avoid overlaps as much as possible, such things as 00:18:091 (4,2) - 00:19:462 (4,2) - 00:20:320 (3,5) - 00:23:577 (3,1) - 00:25:120 (1,4) - etc
-there are spacing inconsistencies in your map such as 00:29:234 (3,4) - , why doesnt this has spacing similar to 00:28:548 (1,2,3) - ?
-00:57:348 (3) - this would work better if you used 3/4 repeat slider instead of 1/2 repeat, since thats the prominent sound there, same goes for 01:00:091 (6) - , just use 3/4 notes or 3/4 repeat slider. its true you will miss out on the beats but you need to make sacrifices to emphasis on certain sounds
-01:08:577 - ^ basically 3/4 rhythm, but since this is a more hype part, you could just add a note at 01:08:577 - or you could do sth like you did on 01:16:548 (1,2,3,4) - .
-01:17:062 (5,6) - why use offbeat sliders here? just place sliders at 01:17:234 - and 01:17:577 -
-01:19:548 - again youre missing a prominent sound here.
